When I was a wee kid, always thought him sooo handsome! Still do. 😍🙏🏽💌. R.I.P.
R.I.P Mr. Bert Convy. Gone 2 soon
I miss Bert Convy :(
RIP Bert he was before my time but he was so talented 😭👏🎉💚
We will never how good Match Game could have been with him if didn't get that tumor
The Match Game clips don't sound right without the legendary voice of Johnny Olson.
@@WTF-TV2415 yeah very true on that
Yeah it sucks.
Could you do videos for Chuck Woolery, Gene Rayburn, Pat Sajak, Monty Hall, and Peter Tomarken please?
I've only seeing two shows hosted by Bert Convy; Tattletails and Super Password, which I liked more. Bert was great on that show, but I bet Tom Kennedy would've hosted that if he wasn't busy with Body Language.
Bert Convoy Was A Great Game Show Host!
Bert Convy messin' up those Super Password puzzles cracked me up, still do! #RIPBertConvy!
Some insiders have said that those frequent bloopers on Super Password, as funny as they were, could have been an early symptom of a brain tumor. If they would've only caught it earlier...RIP, Bert.
Excellent game show host and very diverse!!
Before his TV career, Bert was a singer in a group called the Cheers. Their '50s hit "Black Denim Trousers and Motorcycle Boots" is one of my favorite songs of the period- an upbeat precursor to all those car-crash songs that followed.
He was a very talented man, good actor as well.
A fine game show host and a fine actor. Rest in peace, Bert.
Mans gone too soon, super password is a great show.
first ever Password guests Tom Poston & Kitty Carlisle.
Win lose or draw is a bert & bert production © 1987.
In association with Kline & Friends
not long after the Match Game pilot, Bert was diagnosed with a malignant cancer.
Bill Cullen and Bert Convy are my two favorite game show hosts.
Third Degree seems like a reworking of I've Got a Secret.
Love Super Password!
Same
" it's password it's super-password.
Gone way to soon, very charismatic and could light up a room with his sense of humor. Terrific host
One of the greatest game show host
The one show that actually is a black mark on Bert's career is the Third degree (that I have seen on WPXI when I was a kid) if you want to know the history to that, you'll have to look it up, but it was brutal. It also was the absolute last game he would host before his untimely passing from a brain tumor. Also, he was an accomplished actor who appeared on top TV shows-movies like the original Perry Mason, and Banacek that everybody should check out.
