    I have bought your course Bob
    I am super happy.
    And I truly believe that anyone who is detoxing from nopor can greatly speed up their recovery. Perhaps instead of 90 days, it is possible in 40 days.

      Thanks for your feedback. I'm delighted to hear that you are happy with my dopamine fasting course. Yes, it's impossible to say just how much it can help, since the factors involved are just so numerous, but your guess there does not at all sound unreasonable to me. There are so many things that keep blasting our dopamine system in the modern world, so addiction recovery can definitely be prolonged by it. Kind of like trying to heal a broken leg by, instead of squatting, you keep dancing or using your leg in some, otherwise not too bad of an activity, but that, during recovery, definitely will hold back the healing of your leg. There's such a huge difference between living unhealthy and doing periods of very dopamine healthy things (dopamine fasting) that it's no wonder it also makes a difference in recovery time.

    This channel is definitely going to 100k subs by summertime, you should plan a special episode for that!. As far as turning to other habits to supplement nofap like watching tons of regular youtube videos on science, history or, ironically nofap videos, I don't see anything wrong with that!, it can be used as a bridge to recovery, in conjunction with working out and healthy eating. The brain wants that similar simulation

    • @ScandinavianBob
      @ScandinavianBob  Год назад +3

      Thank you for your kind words. As far as stimuli goes, it's not a matter of right or wrong. It's just a matter of what we want to experiment with (or not experiment with) to see how it affects us. But yeah, definitely nothing bad about watching educational videos. Not even entertainment videos, just as long as we don't jump off every video after 3 seconds, constantly looking for the next best one.

    One thing I’ve started doing is quitting pre-workouts or fat burners. I’ve been doing this nearly a month now. This is in addition to seed retention.
    Who’d have thought it took my going to hospital to make it happen?

    so id understand, i was hardcore porn addict for over 10 years and it fucked me up my brain my relatiponships everything. I recently stopped 3 months and relapsed a month ago and still having issues even if i stop for 3 months. Now people tell me it takes 1 to 3 years to recover... I love this girl and porn ruining my relationship cos I stopped it again it s my 2nd week and having really bad flatline. sorry for making it long, If I do dopamine detox on top of nofap, no porn will I recover faster?

    • @ScandinavianBob
      @ScandinavianBob  Год назад +2

      Don't listen to people telling you it takes 1-3 years to recover. The truth is that it is different for everyone and, yes, for some unlucky guys it takes a very long time (1-3 years), but that's not the case for everyone. In fact, most people do NOT take that long to recover. Dopamine fasting, as well as living a very healthy life can potentially speed things up. But no one knows by just exactly how much. Some personal advice from me would be to do a lot of physical exercise (but without over training), to eat super healthy, and to do dopamine fasting from time to time. Best of luck, my brother. You can do this.

    • @RealRaslu
      @RealRaslu Год назад

      Struggling with the same here. Wouldn't say I was a hardcore addict but I would advise that you first try and focus on quitting porn brother. I quit weed and porn together and its fucking ROUGH. I do eat a lot of junk food and smoke tons of cigarettes to compensate but in comparison to weed + porn combo it's nothing. Also you are trying so that's the most important thing. My best tip is when you feel the urge to relapse, write down or take a mental note on how you feel. Because after relapse I gaurantee you will feel worse. That motivates me. I don't want to feel that shame, disappointment and all energy drained from my body. I can literally feel the life leave my body seconds after relapse. All the best man. Hope maybe it motivates you. Also on 2 weeks after making it to 3 months on my very first try. It was a big defeat but I try again.

    Is nofap the same as semen retention? Are they the same thing?

    • @ScandinavianBob
      @ScandinavianBob  Год назад +1

      Depends on who you are asking, but on my channel, and most others, NoFap is more focused on not using porn. Not fapping to porn, and then many guys also add no masturbation at all, on top of that. But it's up to the individual. So it's not the same. The main goal of semen retention is just to not ejaculate at all, in any way shape or form.

    • @dion8962
      @dion8962 Год назад

      So nofap means no masturbating (especially to porn) and semen retention means abstinence from ejaculating. With a few exceptions depending on the person.. got it. Thank you
