My advice to all who are able to visit in person, do so. The area looks much better in the video than in person. I've owned a lot in Marion Oaks for many years. I've held onto it as an investment (?)knowing I would never build there. I'm disappointed with how long it's taking this area to grow.
Perhaps there will be growth in the years to come considering the housing boom in Fl.
Long story short, I built my home in Central Florida instead.

Thank you for your comment. I agree, while it is growing, it seems to be growing slowly. There are still a lot of vacant lots. Some blocks only have 1 or 2 homes. Some parts are more developed than others. We are working on more videos of Marion Oaks because of the vast size of the community.

Hopefully it never grows to that point! That's what makes it beautiful. Not just another overcrowded overpriced s hole

I hear it's growing, I like to live away from the ocean. I've lived in Palm Beach county for a long time & traffic it's getting so bad. I think we are moving to a more quiet area.

Despues de llegar a los Estados Unidos, voy quedar por dos meses en Boca Raton, hasta llegar mis papeles. Pero luego voy cambiar a Ocala, que és la ciudad donde quiero vivir y trabajar.
    Gracias por el vídeo.

I'm looking to purchase a house in marion oaks but worried about someone breaking in because I don't live in Florida.

I understand your concern. I have heard of stories where people move into vacant houses. Good luck with your decision!

No matter where you go in the entire world there’s always a chance that someone might try to break into your home. However there are many precautions you can take to prevent this from ever happening. First would be to instal good 4k HD resolution cameras that are networked to your phone and you can hear audio as well as be able to speak back to whomever may be on your property trespassing and one that also offer’s a siren. Lorex cameras are a great option. Second would be to but a gate and fence around your property and keep one or two large guard dog’s, and third invest into a good home defense firearm like a Glock 45. At that point you should never have any worries about anyone ever trying to come unto your property.

I do really appreciate your videos. This one had a glair and you could see the inside of car reflecting on the windshield causing some viewing problems. Thank you.

This is definitely a realtor's video. Marion Oaks is not the most desirable development in the Ocala area. Quite a bit of drug activity and even more serious issues. There is a new commerce center being developed less than 2 miles away on the same road, and this will lead to even great traffic congestion on route 484. When I was looking to move to Ocala, I was told to avoid Marion Oaks. Am glad I did.

Thank you for your comment. I agree with you. The traffic all across Ocala is bad now and is getting worse because the city is growing. It is my understanding that the drug activity in Marion Oaks came with the renters. Marion Oaks once had a good reputation and hopefully they are working to restore it.
