That was a really good interview ladies, I like Lynda's final advise to say just stay were you are developing or were you feel more inclined to as an individual or family, either UK or US 😊
Hallo Nanelle am also inthe process of immigrating to Houston so help me God and I agree with ur friend Houston is amazing. We experienced the Tornado amd hurricane when we were there. But the community helps alot when it happens. The only thing one need is to invest in a generator coz the lights do go off. Nanelle if u thinking to immigrate then u are not wrong. 8 have been inthe U.K for over 20yrs and now wants to immigrate.
Love this interview having been an international student in the U.S. but now living in the UK .. I think it’s better for people to become international students in the UK first and then transition to the US for work . The US international student regulations are not favourable when I compare them to the UK or Canada for example. I would always recommend that people start in the UK , Canada as international students.
I do like your comparison but for me I believe if it’s you are supposed to be at a place whether Uk, US , Germany etc if you are supposed to be there you will make it and what we you do will go well tho there will be challenges. That’s my view tho . Love your opinion too

@@rhemamensah6582 let me speak for the F1 and F2 Visa category.. what most international students go to the US with meaning they will finance themselves 100%. here’s a challenges that people don’t address or talk about when you bring a dependence they’ll be on an F2 Visa they will not be allowed to work under any circumstance at all during your time of study. You as the F1 are only allowed to work on campus you cannot legally work off campus. On campus employment is not sufficient to meet your living expenses and school fees. Why I would say the UK, Canada etc is better you are allowed to work off campus as an international student for limited hours. But believe me, it makes a big difference when you have that option as opposed to only be restricted to on campus employment. Another factor to consider is health insurance. You do pay for health insurance but it does not cover all of your medical needs and expenses as opposed to the UK Canada where you pay in advance and you are covered. I can go on and on, but personally I would not recommend people to start their journey in the US as international students. Unless you are in a Jvisa or you have the funds to make it without depending on campus employment. It’s doable, but I’m just stating that there are more challenges that one needs to prepare for as an F1. After 19 years in the US I can say there’s definitely pros as well. It’s just that sometimes people don’t talk about the other side of this issue and are surprised when they get to the U.S. ( on an international student visa)
@@rhemamensah6582 let me speak on f1-f2 visa which is self sponsored and most people apply for it. Unlike the UK , Canada etc the U.S. does not allow you to work outside of campus. And if you bring your spouse they are also not allowed to work at all. These finical limitations can be problematic as the job that you work on campus isn’t sufficient to meet your needs. Another thing is health insurance you can to do proper research on which health insurance companies can you afford especially when it comes to copay. I can go on and on after living there for 19years I can confidently say these are some of the many challenges need awareness. And there is a reason why US embassy are denying f1 visa at a higher rate . So that when you move there have a plan to succeed in school and have financial stability as an international student. It’s not easy in the U.S. when I compare how other international student live in other countries. That’s just my two cents
Nanelle, I have been living in Texas almost all my life and I can rest assured you that Texas is very big, I live in Dallas and never once have i experience hurricanes or tornados , all these natural disasters happens in Houston and its surroundings , Texas is soo huge we have two different time zone zones check the time in Dallas and the time in El Paso Texas you will see that Dallas leads El Paso by an hour but we are all in the same state. It snowed in Dallas last year it never snowed in Houston because it’s two completely different cities and has different weather. So trust me if you wanna move to Texas your best bet will be Dallas and there are a lot of Ghanaians here especially around the Arlington area you will love it, take a trip here and see how it goes,
@@NanelleGriseldayeah my mum have been leaving in Dallas for so many years and have never experienced any natural disaster, houses are more expensive in Dallas than Houston, but also salaries are higher in Dallas than Houston, Dallas Texas is one of the cities to leave in the US with the best weather and also free from natural disasters
Wow thanks for this video Nanelle. I also love Texas and currently preparing to take NCLEX. BTW I also watch Navarealty and admire those beautiful massive houses and love the gospel at the end of the video 😊
Dallas is a great place! I’ve lived here for more than a decade and I haven’t experienced natural disasters. Houston is nice too, but if you're buying a home in houston, make sure to do your flood inspections, but other areas in htx like Katy, Fulshear, Richmond, and Rosenberg usually don’t have disasters.
I have lived in Texas, I’m in Georgia now, I will never live in Texas again, Georgia is beautiful, extraordinary vegetation. In Texas I had my windshield smashed by hail storm, their summer heat is unbearable. Homes are cheap in Georgia as well and the cost of living is low.
I'm in Texas and I have to agree with you on the housing market being cheaper in Georgia😢. But Georgia, especially Atlanta is gay capital so I will take Texas any day over that. Love our conservative lifestyle here.😅❤
Texas has no state taxes but how about property tax rates? How high is that. Does it make it a zero sum game? The government has to get money from somewhere to provide services for the citizens, including good schools, roads, safety, etc.
Hi Nanelle? Thanks for all the information u give us on this channel, i am almost finishing my masters degree in Data Science and AI here in the uk. Please can u help people like us know whether pursuing a tech career here in the uk is better or moving to the US probably through PhD programs. Thanks
Hi,how long is your degree ,are you doing it online, part-time or full-time? I'm asking for my son who just finished high school,he's interested in Cyber security

I think you just need to make your enquiries about various agencies and get in the queue because the retrogression is not funny at all. Agencies like Connectics , OGP, infinity care patners, PRS Global and so on
Hello ma'am! I am eagerly requesting you that please make a video on how an nurse who has done his ausbildung in Germany (in nursing) can move to usa as a nurse. Is ausbildung valid in USA, if not, then what to do more to meet USA's requirements to be a nurse?
😂😂😂😂 She wants to have a place with a relaxed life like the UK and high salaries like the US all in one place which is never possible because both countries have their downsides.

If I decide to go back home, what will I take back home??? Food for thought… God bless you Lynda
