From when it was started ?? Why we do puja of certain gods and goddesses on this day ?? Why we burst crackers ?? How it is celebrated in different parts of Bharat ( India ). They said good over evil, common at least try something
The significance of Diwali is very well explained here. Good over evil, light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. This is followed by celebrations. People when they listen to this, they will respect our culture much more. In other videos, some have explained the meaning of Diwali to exchanging of gifts, buying jewelry and eating lot of food which has no spiritual significance.
Actually there is a legend in india... In which a prince (Ram) and his wife (Sita) were on exile for 14 years.. during last year a demon (Ravan) kidnapped Sita..and flew to his kingdom.. Ram chased that kidnapper ,fought him , killed Ravan and brought back his wife.. and came to his kingdom after 14 years of exile... And became king. This whole story is known as ramayan... The day RAM and his wife came back to kingdom is celebrated as diwali... There is anime called ramayan.. on RUclips free to watch...

1. Rama's coronation
2. Krishna's slaying of demon Narakasura
