“Magic Waltz” from “The Legend of 1900”

This Is one of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite movies. This song was a real challenge for me but it was a lot of fun to work on it. The arrangement is basically the same as the original except that I added a short jazz solo in the middle.

Nicely done man. All I can think of when I hear someone mention the legend of 1900 is that scene where he shows up that other pianist and lights a cigarette on the keys. The 4 handed afterimage effect was ridiculous.

Quick question as a pianist myself: How can you play those fills/runs up and down the piano so fluidly in perfect tempo? I heard it takes lots of slow practice, but I just wanted to know if you had any tips for learning how to accurately play them during a song because I’m having trouble getting it down. Thanks!
Piano Music thank you! You just have to work on them really slowly for a while. And maybe you’re just not at the level to play it at this speed yet. That kind of progress takes time.

Piano Music turn on your metronome or sound brenner in slow or super slow tempo. Training with slow tempo will give you accuracy , strong finger , upgrade your feeling. Many profess pianist do that. Fast play in all time practicing is not a right think

For anyone trying to learn the piece, I believe there is an error in the notation of bar 25. The run doesn't seem to return to 8va when it changes from a dsus4 arpeg to a dmaj arpeg.
