I have a problem with the knob that adjusts the fan levels.
I realized that a metal part is attached to it, which moves along a copper plate, and that's how the heater and the air conditioner are turned on. For me, neither of the two starts. The plate does not move together with the knob.
My question is, will I be able to access it without removing the entire console? Just take out the knob that adjusts the degree of blowing to stick the plate?
Is it possible?

O intrebare, am un touran 1.9 2010 cu climatizare manuala, daca cumpar climatronic unitatea din bord, si o schimb… mai trebuie ceva modificari? Sau o sa functioneze?

Salut si multumim de feedback! Nu functioneaza asa, va trebui sa schimbi multe piese, in primul rand carcasa aerotermei care are cate un servomotoras pe fiecare clapeta de ventilatie, rezistenta treptelor, etc.. E complicat.

Hi, Nicolas! It's very complicated, you have to change some parts that are behind the dash, like HVAC box and many other parts from the air conditioner system.

If the control panel works but the light doesn’t, can just a bulb be replaced or do you need to replace the entire unit ?

Hi. Fan controller works on all 4 speeds. But doesn't switch off when turned fully to the left. Likely to be this rather than the Heater Resister? Thanks.
Hi! I dont’t know, you have to replace the resistor first (it’s cheaper) and see if that’s it. Then you can replace the fan controller, it’s more expensive.

Question --- Have my car in the shop right now as the fan speed knob/control stopped turning (basically stuck in position 2) and the vent control is not controlling which vents the air is blowing from. Will replacing this panel fix both or either of these issues?

Fixed the knobs but seems that the vent shafts need replacing as well.
@@BofaDan I fixed my problem. Removed all front dash and got the ac controller. After I opened it up and saw that metal piece that adjusts fan voltage is broken and got stuck on knob. I glued it in place than it’s working good as new! Hope it helps someone else.
@@denizszr8316 Yea I wasn't ready to pay the labor to remove the full dash just to get an estimate for repairs and I certainly do not have the space or knowledge to do it myself
My golf mk4 1.6 manual if i put on the air c it will work but if i put it on number 2 and 3 it will off but put it on 4 it will work. What is the fault their

Hi! You can unplug the battery. You don’t have to be scared of being electrocuted because it’s only 12V and for that you can touch the battery with your barehands and not feel a thing.
