Sweden played a double game during ww2. When both Norway and Denmark were occupied by Germany, Sweden's "neutrality" was important for Norwegian and Danish resistance movements. Germany had plans to also occupy Sweden, so to keep Sweden "neutral" the Swedish government was forced to balance on a thin line - secretly work for the Western Alliance but at the same time officially keep the Germans happy to avoid occupation which would be disastrous for all three countries Sweden , Norway and Denmark.
Regarding the Swedish knowledge of the horrible Jewish persecutors in Germany, signals were received quite early on, but since this was so unbelievable, most people believed that it was made-up fantasies. Not until around 1941 did people in Sweden become aware that what was happening in Germany was actually real. Then Sweden's opinion definitively turned from Germany to the West. Known are e.g. Folke Bernadotte's "white buses" that saved the lives of around 15,500 Jews by evacuating them to Sweden.

It is a decent video, but seems a bit one-sided in a judgmental kind of way. Sweden really had to walk a tight-rope and played pretty much all the bad cards it got, perfectly. There is a similar video to this one that goes into more detail. Some things they forgot to mention here:
Sweden took in a lot of Finnish children when the Soviet union attacked them. It was a way for the Finns to make sure their kids were safe from the Red army, in case of further invasion.
Sweden intercepted German communications on a regular basis and forwarded the information to the British, thereby helping the Allies with intelligence against Germany. One example would be the departure of Germany's powerful battleship "Bismarck", information about this lead to the Allies sinking it on its maiden voyage.

I agree its a decent video, but sometimes its extremly onesided missing importent parts. In other parts its plain wrong. I would not use this when I was working as a history teacher. Or maybe I would to show what happens when you leave out important parts.

Its perhaps not that surprising that a major share of the steel going into the German war machine came from Sweden, Sweden is(and was) one of the largest sources of iron ore in Europe, with approximately 90% of Europe's iron and 5% of the world's iron reserves.

During the winter war of 1939-1940, he signed up
12,000 Swedes and 700 Norwegians volunteered to fight for Finland in the Swedish Volunteer Corps at the Salla front in Finnish Lapland. During the Continuation War, nearly 1,000 Swedes served in the Swedish Volunteer Battalion in front of Hangö in 1941 and just over 400 in the Swedish Volunteer Company in 1942-1944 on the eastern front at Jandeba and on the Karelian Isthmus in the summer of 1944. Swedish volunteers also served in various Finnish units during both wars.
122 Swedish volunteers died and many hundreds were wounded, many with lifelong disability as a result, in the fight for Finland's freedom.

This is the sort of stuff that needs to be put forth when some Finnish nationalists go all "Sweden bad, no help", which happens quite frequently on the internet.

May I add 16,000 signed up , Finland only accepted 12,000 of which only 8,300 reached the line before the war stopped.
Compared to the 289 idiots who joined the axis, unlike the thousands from both Denmark and Norway.
One thing he didnt mention was the fear of "Quisling's" , traitors. Having seen how they fucked up Norway in its defence Sweden were not keen at all in 1940 to provoke Germany , they also had a pact/alliance with Russia so this is why Sweden didnt join Finland in the winter war.
But to be clear Sweden was only neutral for the first 3 months of the second world war, as soon as Soviet invaded Finland it was changed to Non-belligerent.
1,500 swedes joined the american army to fight the nazis a few thousands joined the brittish merchant fleets, ontop of that Sweden shared intelligence with the brittish already in 1940 and never with the Germans.
Sweden even warned Soviet Union about Operation Barbarosa but Stalin being paranoid thought Sweden was just trying to destroy their pact.
Since Sweden have never help Russia before, its hard to blame him.

Sweden was simply mostly concerned with the well-being of fellow Nordics. The most dangerous enemy to that wasn't clear at the time. It was just another European war to try to stay out of.
In general it wasn't obvious from a Swedish perspective who the good guys and who the bad guys really were anyway. Historically Europe has gone to war with itself quite often. It's one of the hypotheses as to why Europe managed to suddenly subjugate much of the world. So bits of Europe fighting other bits was considered common. Antisemitism was also very common everywhere and especially so in the Soviet Union. The USSR especially wasn't considered to be obviously better than the 3rd Reich. The UK actually invaded Iceland although there's not too much resentment over it. It's mostly considered an international form of "rude" at this point.
Also our military wasn't great at the time. The belief was that everyone had learned from WW1 and wouldn't do that stupid again.

One of my theories is that it was the Wallenberg clan (family) that made sure Sweden was left alone.

This video does not mention one very important aspect of this. That is Herman Göring's deep relationship with the Swedish nobility. His first wife Karin was one of them, after her death he even named his mansion Karinhall after her. I don't know if it mattered, but it could have mattered a lot in the fact that Germany never invaded Sweden, her home country. Also Sweden thretened to blow up the iron ore mine if Germany invaded.
