Željko Joksimović's work 3 times in top 3. In 2004. for Serbia he came second. In 2006. for Bosnia and Herzegovina third, and in 2012. again third. Željko, please come back in 2018. and make Serbia proud again. It's high time you won.

Јесте и мени је ''Оро'' драже него ''Лане моје'' и ''Није љубав ствар''. Можда не би победила, али би била у топ 3, шесто место је просто понижавајуће. Али Жељко, нажалост, никада није знао да убоде тајминг. Увек је ишао у невреме. Промаши годину само тако. :) Ваљда ће написати поно Томашевићки песму. И тако је рекла да би хтела да иде поново.

i know a lot of people are giving portugal shite for their win, but look at 2007! Molitva isn't exactly a party tune, but it was sung with such raw emotion and the lyrics were so beautiful that it won.

I don't complain about Portugal winning because of the song, but because of the fact that he won a lot of people's hearts because of his condition... I HATE cases like that and this is a form of negative manipulation in my opinion that makes Portugal go down in my list a lot.

Cléa 74 Yeah, Portugese and Bulgarian entries took all the high score from both jury and televote for being favorite. The 3rd place is truly a battle between Moldova/Belgium/Sweden/Italy with a little difference in the amount of points and I'm so happy that Moldova achieved that after being an underdog for such a long time.
I'm so happy with the new voting system , things are really changing to better.

Jamala was only chosen for her political point of view. For most people it was just screaming. If you want to make a political statement, do it outside events like these, because it's not something we want to hear. Salvador however had a great song.
Am I the only one who actually likes Portugal (heartfelt, pure) but also doesn't dislike Bulgaria (good, catchy song) and Moldova (there has to be some fun on stage once in a while) ? Though there are some songs that should have gotten better results (The Netherlands, Belarus, UK)

In eurovision I try to keep my expectations low when it comes to the results. The voting is controversial and there's pro and cons to it. but in the end I just like listening to all the music. Thanks for the videos Mike. I'm happy every time you upload!

And ''Fairytale'' by Alexander Rybak turns out to be the most successful song in the Eurovision Song Contest(387x2=774 points)according to the new voting system,as the votes by each country are multiplied by two, the jury rank and the televoting rank.
That's not how the voting works. It's not as simple as multiplying by 2.
Norway 2009: 312 jury + 378 tele = 690 points
Portugal 2017: 382 jury + 376 tele = 758 points

Ruslana deserves to win. She broked a record with 280 points at that time!
My biggest upsets are Italy in 2011 and Netherlands in 2014. Rest is I can see why the winners were those but those 2 I honestly think that the better, more innovative songs were left 2nd.
Netherlands was different but (IMO) Austria was better sounding. And better stage presence, etc.

He was my favourite since the beginning. Actually it was a bit annoying to be confronted to some annoying tops made by youtubers who don't really love music. That's because there is not too many people supporting our opinion in these channels.

I agree and disagree at the same time. Firstly, I thnik that Demy's song was actually cheap, Kontopoulos could do a better song, I am sure. But on the other hand I personally believe that the song was fine for eurovision but Demy had to make some dance moves with her dancers exactly like the wiwijam party..This could be more facinating. You forgot 1999 (Iceland got robbed), 2013 (Norway should have taken this one), 2005 (Malta, how could it NOT win?!?), 2004 (Serbia&Montenegro got also robbed)... That makes only one winner likeable: 2012. Which of course is not true, I like to think the winners actually have the best song. For 2017 it was the best winning song ever.

The most disgusting thing in Eurovision is countries abandoning their culture and LANGUAGE so they can be more mainstream and appeal to a bigger audience. Any country that doesn't sing in their own language should be ashamed of themselves. Portugal deserved this win.

Well, I guess Europe didn't want to go there because because Salvador from PORTUGAL 🇵🇹 was the true winner, but if you want see the ESC18 in Sofia you can always go there and see the ESC18 that happens in Lisbon from there and your wish comes true 😉

I paid attention, that at least one country that once was part of USSR (Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Moldova) they are usually in top-3. Sometimes (in 2000, 2002, 2007, 2008, 2013, 2016) there are even 2 countries from these list in top 3. It's a song contest, not a staging contest, and I think staging is less important than the song because for me, when the staging is awesome but voice and song are SHIT, you must be lower in the classment than the opposite!

I would have agreed that you deserved to win IF Salvador didn't try (and sadly succeed) to win all people's hearts by saying about his medical condition.. of course when i heard about it, the song was a lot more emotional to me (even if the song is not about that, i don't speak portuguesse so i imagine him singing about something bad and the worst thing i knew about him was the condition...) i felt so much worse than the 1st time simply because of his condition. It is not my type of song too so i would have given the win to you if he kept his mouth shut (also his arrogance at the end seemed too much to me and i know about a lot more people who agree with me on this)
