320 is a Minneapolis, MN, area code. (there's always a tit for tat between Minneapolis and the UK...for example: Prince (the artist formerly known as) passed away on Queen Elizabeth's birthday ..found on the elevator in his Paisly Park Compound (minneapolis), also, during the George Floyd trial in Minneapolis, Queen Elizabeth's husband passed away. Also, 320 was the number of Derek Chauvin's police car. (chauvin or chauvinist pig reference). This stuff comes up, but I'm not sure what it all means, why it comes up or...if a game is going on, how is it done? I have no idea, but 'Blackpool' and a rollercoaster and alligator or snake skin is enough for me to know that I wouldn't stay there too long. lol and shoulders shrugged. Wondering who knows about this kind of stuff. I can't believe they gave you room 320.
Glasses upside down is the correct way to store them as long as they are on a matt where air can get into the glass. Firstly it stops dust getting into the glass if it sits for a while, Secondly it means (more as a bartender like myself) we pick up the bottom third of the glass keeping prints away from the the top third where customers will drink, Thirdly if they have been recently washed it stops water gathering in the bottom and leaving water marks.
The reality is that most people don't keep the bottom of their cupboards particularly hygienic. In this case it might be okay as those are presumably disposable coasters. Nevertheless, that being so with most cupboards, this means the part of the glass/mug/whatever that you put your lips to is smooshed about in the dirt. That's got to be worse than whatever it picks up between uses if let upright (the same stuff that is always falling and then breeding on the 'floor' of the cupboard). Of course if you have proper glass holders that hold them upside down and the lips not touching anything (as in most bars) then that's clearly better.
I always used to store my glasses upside down when i was single, but when i got married, my wife insisted on 'right way up', (i think she said so they don't trap stale air), but now that she does the washing up and putting away i don't give a bugger which way they stand :).
Nice to see that quality still exists. Nowadays people charge quality prices for substandard service, it was great to see you showing off the cleanliness and tidiness of the room.
Tim, it's quite normal to place crockery and glassware upside down for reasons of hygiene. It prevents dust and any airborne contaminants from settling in cups or tumblers.
I think Tim's concern was that they were directly on the coasters. I am pretty sure from other videos he doesn't have a problem with upside down as usually on disposable paper coasters🙃
Thanks Tim, my daughter has been trying to persuade us to take a trip to Blackpool to go on the big rollercoaster, to be honest we've never fancied going as we thought it looks a bit rough. After seeing this video Im definitely booking this hotel for a weekend it looks lovely.
@@sarahelizabeth2359 Thank you for the warning, my daughter really enjoys rollercoasters and fast rides. We're slowly making our way around the country trying all the seaside mini theme parks. we usually stay for 2 nights, most of the places we've been to have been a little rough, there are aspects of these towns that are run down and tired looking and they do tend to attract the homeless and drug addicts, although some have had an injection of cash and are starting to look very smart again as I imagine they did before people started going abroad for their holidays.
I've noticed, that the hotels in the U.S. don't have coffee/tea in the rooms that much. I wonder why? I really love your sense of humor. I always laugh, with every video. It brightens my day. Thank you!
I love your videos Tim and have been binge watching them all recently. I like that you are so calm and down to Earth. I also love that you explore the good, bad and unknown. I would love to see some more flight reviews but only if possible. Hopefully, many more interesting videos to come. Thanks again. 😊
Very impressive. Taking into account the cost was for a double room (I liked the divided section for clothes/tea/coffee) I would consider that good value. The cost of a full breakfast in that level of hotel is also value for me.
What another classy looking Hotel in Blackpool next to the Big Blue Hotel that you reviewed Tim. Love the Walnut Wood theme in all the corridors & lighting, you have good taste in style Tim! Chocolate & Raspberry smells, a feast for the senses! And the classy dessert & Welcome card from the Manager! I love that Executive Duluxe Double Room with the pefect Sunset over the sea🌄 I love the Purple & Green Decor. Purple is one of my favourite colours! The couch looked really cosy & comfy! I'd love to sit there with the Delicatessen Chocolates watching the Sun & the Sea! Mirrors all perfectly polished with precision 👌 I like the look of those Pillows I'd probably only need one piilow. And a nice firm bed, sounds just right 👍 I love the Walnut coloured Drawers & matching Workstation in Walnut. Very clean & new looking. So much to do on that massive Tele! I really like the Walk in Wardrobe area I think it just adds that classy touch rather than just a bed in a room. With the Kettle (super clean shiny & bright!) Even the codinments sound classy. Pure cooled Water from Norway! Perfect little mini fridge. Love the Bathroom with the His & Hers Sinks & Bath mats perfectly on point☝️ The freebie Toiletries are definitely worth taking home with you Tim. The Bathroom looks a bright a shiny new thing!! With the Mirrors facing each other going on for a long way like a corridor looking in the Mirror 🪞 The only thing I didn't like was the Air Conditioning Vents again & doesn't look like there is a radiator. Knowing me I'd be asking for the Air Conditioning to be turned off & if they had a spare Electric Radiator I could borrow. The Shower Head was a disappointment, it reminded me of a cleaner version of the ones in the Pontins. And the black bits that fell into the bath isn't great even before you've had a shower 🚿 A rainfall shower I agree with you Tim would look great in there. But otherwise the room was a 10/10. It's so uplifting to see these well looked after Best Rated Hotels Tim! They always make me feel happy! Bar & Restaurant area classy still in the Walnut colour decor. Fancy the Fire Alarm going off! Been in this hotel a few times. I was in a lovely room with marble tiles and a TV. Think it was a mini suite. Big blue was great too. We had a suite with separate bedroom and bathroom.

Nice hotel very comfortable. Must have hard water because the blacks bits are limescale and debris but saying that I would definitely stay there. The breakfast a bit on the steep side. Many thank for the review keep them coming 👍🙂
I love watching your vids anyway but especially when you show us the lift, I install them and I was thinking that’s a posh lift….and it’s Orona who I work for 😂 I’ve never fitted those interiors before, they had a nice budget then lol. Cheers Tim 🕺🏻🥳
Purple and green are two of my least favourite stand alone colours, but put them together and it really works… the hotel corridors are some of the nicest I’ve seen, really impressed with this place… I’m with you on the extra charge for parking, that’s definitely becoming a thing here in Australia as well unfortunately… Cheers Tim 👍
Wow looks amazing thanks for filming. Wondered if you can check out the great big pink hotel at the North. It always looks busy, and I wondered what it would be like to stay in.
Nice hotel, and looks spotless (other than the shower water). Breakfast looked good and the dining room was very nice. I`m with you on the paying for parking bit, you pay enough for a hotel you shouldn`t have to pay for parking.
Try looking at it another way... Arrive without a car its £140 per night, but arrive with a car and park it secure and safe in Blackpool for £150 per night, sounds a better offer.

That box behind the wooden door is for people like me who are in wheelchairs and so can’t evacuate floors above the ground because we can’t use the lifts and can’t walk down stairs. You’ll see the emergency stair evacuation chair next to it. We press that to alert staff that we need rescuing
Love Blackpool and Blackpool pleasure beach glad you went there!! I think this is a really nice hotel and honestly probably one of the best in Blackpool
Thanks for your review, lovely seaside view, and like the hotel. Its crocodile design i have a Reiss handbag which is crocodile. The b its from the shower will be as that setting hadnt been used much for a while. Surprised the strictly cast dont stay there, instead of the big blue. Thanks for sharing 😊
Have you ever eaten at The Bank Bar&Grill? If you haven’t you HAVE to try it! The food is 5 star, they have something for everyone and they are incredibly knowledgeable about allergies as the owner is a coeliac. The cocktail menu is vast. My personal recommendations are filo prawns to start and a pina colada, salmon in the honey garlic chilli sauce 4:53 , paprika fries and roasted vegetables from the grill menu, for your main, followed by chocolate torte and a mudslide cocktail.
That VIP entrance used to be the old way in if you were that end of the fair. I'm sure where that hotel was there used to be a big pub where Lily Savage had a show that was televised. Going back a bit here! Seems a lovely place to stay though.
It's nice to see inside when we've drove past a few times whenever we visit Blackpool.I'd definitely been keen to stay over 1 time if they do a family room. Its nice & modern everything looks clean & fresh. Thanks for the vid.
What a beautiful, clean, stylish hotel. The housekeeping looked 1st class you couldn't spot any neglected areas. Thank you for your review I would definitely choose this hotel if I was ever visiting Blackpool.
This hotel looks lovely lovely touches with the chocolates and pen and notepad quite luxurious Tim the breakfast looked amazing a far cry from the bb I stayed in many moons ago thanks Tim ❤️❤️❤️❤️😊
Many thanks for doing the Boulevard Hotel Tim. Looks absolutely brilliant. I'll need too decide which of the pleasure Beaches two hotels to try when next in Blackpool. Normally I stop in the Premier Inn at North Pier. Have you ever reviewed Forshaws at North Pier? I know it hasn't been getting that great reviews and I know a couple of staff members put me off stopping in it last year and said to book into the Premier Inn as it was cleaner.
It must be easier to rip out a safe in a drawer than a solidly mounted one! I think walk in showers are lower maintenance and the way forward! [Just need to be good quality] If you want a bath tough!
That's a lovely room. I have never been to Blackpool but you seem quite impressed with it. btw I will be staying in the Hotel Brooklyn in Leicester this weekend.
Two places I use to stay at in the mid 1990 s were the Star Hotel 3 star , great breakfast and the Dolphin 4 star in South Hampton an old coaching hotel. Might be an idea to visit both sometime
Great video as always Tim. Can I ask you a question what is your favourite hotel you have stayed in? I must admit I think the ex jail in Bodmin looks absolutely amazing
somehow the words 'luxury' and 'blackpool' don't seem to belong in the same sentence, but it looks like a nice cocoon until you hit the streets and see the 'real' blackpool, and £20 for a fried breakfast plus £10 to park your car for the privilige of staying underneath a rollercoaster wouldn't do anything to attract me either, but the effort you make is always appreciated :) GL.
Love the videos Tim. Find it so naive that you are still excited about taking slippers and lotions home. Remember doing this many years ago but soon got past that with usage. I hardly ever even use the freebies as I prefer my own.
@@ivangordon8884 sometimes when the wife and i go away and stay in a hotel i'll take a few freebie shower gells or shampoo's coz they are ideal to pack when i stay in a youth hostel or backpackers on a walking or biking trip rather than take a bigger bottle. I paid for 'em, so why not. it's hardly exciting, just practical.
Funny thing about holding a mirror up to a mirror - when I was two we moved from Scotland to western Canada. So we'd been on a ship and train for 10 days so, being two that was just a long time and a lot of unfamiliarity. Mum said I was quite the trooper 'til we got to her sister's. She had a mirror facing mirror situation and I freaked out and wouldn't go in the loo. I guess there was a limit to the weirdness in my life.
Another great video, Tim. If I ever go the Blackpool, that's the hotel I am staying in. Also wanted to point out that the bathroom amenities are CO Bigelow, which is a pretty high-end brand. In fact it is billed at 'The oldest Apothecary in America'. The last time we went to New York, a friend put in an order from their flagship store in Greenwich Village! Just having products like this at the Boulevard Hotel would be enough to make me want to stay there!
Hello Tim,this looked a really nice hotel, the shower wasn't was a letdown with the shower head, but the room made it up.the Lancashire breakfast made me hungry as I saw it lol.
Would love to see a review from you about the Efteling theme park resort in the Netherlands. I used to work there, it's a great park to visit with kids. It has a fairytale theme. The hotels and holiday homes are great.
Stayed there twice and I'm pretty sure these guys twigged to who you were, getting that view without selecting/paying for it and also the welcome snack. Annoyed me at the end of covid though when the bar was closed and they would only serve alcohol by room service but with a £12 charge per order. I said how about if I order 2 rounds of drinks in a go, some pizza and some chips for my family of 4 for about £40 but they still wanted to charge it so refused and went somewhere else to drink.
Beautiful hotel room, not sure what came out of the shower head but could have been rust? Definitely plenty there for you to stuff your suitcase with! Still waiting for your walk up The Big One😁.
Great review. If your on park and staying at the hotel then instead of walking all the way round you can get the last Pleasure Beach Express train, that will drop you off at the hotel train platform. Top tip👌🏼
Hi Tim ! Nice room quite a posh place for Blackpool. I think the bed is one they come in two half's for easier movability you just put it together. The glasses should be upside down to stop dust etc . Nice but I wouldn't stay there cos it's in Blackpool lol 😁. Thanks for sharing with us. Love to you as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
Loved the fancy hotel.Your review was terrific.Again ..shirt is perfect on you.Are light denim the thing in England? Most guys in America wear dark denim.Very interesting. Thanks for another great video. Your devoted fan from America
Hey Tim! I have another recommendation for ya; Village Hotel chain! I stayed in the one premium room in Bristol Parkway and it had the coolest frosted bathroom glass ever
Ohhhh, YESSSS! Now THAT is what I expect from my hotel accommodation -.stylish, fu!l facilities like 24h room service, mini-frjdge, lovely lighting nd everything spotlessly clean. Cannot wait to have a few days in the Boulevard Hotel. Blackpool only really has one other luxury hotel, the iconic Imperial, which is great but quite dated in comparison.
Fabulous hotel, nice to see a clean modern looked after hotel & a very nice cooked to order breakfast don’t like buffet style, your eggs get over cooked. Though can you hear the rollercoaster in hotel when it’s on move Tim?
You should stay in the Strand Hotel in Eastbourne, East Sussex. I booked it thinking it was a fancy place for my partners birthday a few years back and my god, it was awful...i do wonder if its any better now! The reviews are interesting...
Hey Tim, great video as usual. You mentioned that the vip entrance to the pleasure Beach is only open for an hour but what about leaving? Can you leave via the vip entrance at any time of the day or do you have to walk all the way round from the main entrance? That would suck!
that cake is the "mini red velvet cake" supplied by Brakes frozen food supplier. they do a victoria sponge and chocolate coffee one too. They cost the business probably £1.40 each and are vegan too!
Great video as always Tim. That hotel looks good, I do wonder though if it is noisy being right next to the park? But then I suppose most would only be there overnight. The welcome dessert is a nice touch but I wouldn't eat it, it could of been there for hours....the heat, dust, insects etc 😳 I so prefer watching your best hotel vlogs rather than the worst hotel ones 🤢😂
It's a fantastic hotel, stayed there just opened. Now looking forward to going back in July for the Hot Ice show. If Tim you not seen go back. Stay at hotel and do the whole show and dinner package 😊
Woww what a room!! I did like the separation with wardrobe and kettle area it makes bedroom/sitting area separate so I liked that personally I'd never pay £19 for brekki though as always 👍(I remember the Star pub situated there in the 90s and other side of Old entrance so good to watch)

Was there ever a more detailed account of how to arrange a glass? I salute you.
Of course if you have proper glass holders that hold them upside down and the lips not touching anything (as in most bars) then that's clearly better.

such a beautiful and well presented hotel. quite astonished for a hotel like that to be in Blackpool
It's hard big blue is much older now but better atmosphere In my opinion
Looks really nice Tim. Makes me want to book a weekend there lol. Thanks.
This looks lovely, one to put on my list for when I'm next in Blackpool!
It must be easier to rip out a safe in a drawer than a solidly mounted one! I think walk in showers are lower maintenance and the way forward! [Just need to be good quality] If you want a bath tough!
Its great, we stayed there in a sea view suite with balcony when the weather was fab, loved it 🥰
Bet that was nice
That's a lovely room. I have never been to Blackpool but you seem quite impressed with it. btw I will be staying in the Hotel Brooklyn in Leicester this weekend.
I like it
Who cares!
Two places I use to stay at in the mid 1990 s were the Star Hotel 3 star , great breakfast and the Dolphin 4 star in South Hampton an old coaching hotel. Might be an idea to visit both sometime
Love this channel. Tim you are an amazing host. The way Tim says VIP 16:12 made me laugh - living the good life 😂. Great content as always
Lol
Would love to do that too 😆
Me and my girlfriend stayed there a few years back. One of the best hotels we’ve been in. Love your videos mate!
Agree thanks scott
You should stay in hopp in bournemouth or btooklands logde in bournemouth
Great video as always Tim.
Can I ask you a question what is your favourite hotel you have stayed in?
I must admit I think the ex jail in Bodmin looks absolutely amazing
Thats a tough one
That hotel looks stunning, such a nice touch with the cake and the chocolates, I bet it was quite expensive though
The bed isn't two pushed together, it is just a divan bed and they always come in 2 halves for easy transportation.
somehow the words 'luxury' and 'blackpool' don't seem to belong in the same sentence, but it looks like a nice cocoon until you hit the streets and see the 'real' blackpool, and £20 for a fried breakfast plus £10 to park your car for the privilige of staying underneath a rollercoaster wouldn't do anything to attract me either, but the effort you make is always appreciated :) GL.
Lol yes but for this hotel 😉
It does seem a bit out of place.
That coaster is massive 😮
Totally agree- I always like to double check on trip advisor to see if the same treatment is given for all guests?
Wow, this is a lovely one Tim, fab view, book me into a suite 😄😄
Lol
Beautiful hotel room, not sure what came out of the shower head but could have been rust? Definitely plenty there for you to stuff your suitcase with!
Still waiting for your walk up The Big One😁.
Rust in a shower that's used yikes
@@WalkWithMeTim Double yikes if you then stuff it in your suitcase 🤔
Nice one Tim looks a nice place to stay when I was a kid we ust to go to Blackpool and Southport every other week great place Cheers Tim 🙂🧳🎥✌️
Just looked at the prices seems abit expensive at 520 pound for 2 adults and a baby for 2 nights
I actually wait for your hotel and holiday park videos ❤😊
You should like Sunday then 😉
@@WalkWithMeTim omggggg I'm excited 😀
They haven't put two single beds together, divan beds come in two separate sections
I like this place better than the 7 star Dubai one, too much! I love England, wish I could go there forever! (USA, Indiana here)
Just throw away your ID and you can come here forever!
@@RAFchurchlawford4469 lol if were only that easy!
Loved the fancy hotel.Your review was terrific.Again ..shirt is perfect on you.Are light denim the thing in England? Most guys in America wear dark denim.Very interesting. Thanks for another great video.
Your devoted fan from America
You do say the nicest things lol thanks Tricia
Hey Tim! I have another recommendation for ya; Village Hotel chain! I stayed in the one premium room in Bristol Parkway and it had the coolest frosted bathroom glass ever
Thanks Tim! Lovely hotel! I just wonder about the noise from the roller coaster being so close!?
Well I was on front but they are sound proofed
So do you get to keep tge slippers and dressing gowns ? Do you think it would be quite with the park being so close ?
Use to work at the pleasure beach as a ride op! Was an amzing job
You can a little
You should stay in the Strand Hotel in Eastbourne, East Sussex. I booked it thinking it was a fancy place for my partners birthday a few years back and my god, it was awful...i do wonder if its any better now! The reviews are interesting...
nice to see BLACKPOOL working to up-grade the place
Hello Tim how are you love your vidio me and our Elaine were in Blackpool last week and we had a fantastic time best wishes take care stay safe xx ❤😊
Thanks Lynn
Nice video as always 👍
I live in Blackpool and this hotel is amazing. I've been in for food a few times and the restaurant is amazing
Love your video's about different hotels and Holidays abroad very interesting ty Tim
Thanks Julie
thanks tim x
Hey Tim, great video as usual. You mentioned that the vip entrance to the pleasure Beach is only open for an hour but what about leaving? Can you leave via the vip entrance at any time of the day or do you have to walk all the way round from the main entrance? That would suck!
No as I said in the video you have to go all the way round
Great review Tim always love Blackpool your so right about car parking it's really annoying.
Thanks Mauricee
Cor that breakfast looked delicious! Hotel not too shabby either!
that cake is the "mini red velvet cake" supplied by Brakes frozen food supplier. they do a victoria sponge and chocolate coffee one too. They cost the business probably £1.40 each and are vegan too!
Thanks Harold, the markup on food in these places is amazing
Great video as always Tim. That hotel looks good, I do wonder though if it is noisy being right next to the park? But then I suppose most would only be there overnight. The welcome dessert is a nice touch but I wouldn't eat it, it could of been there for hours....the heat, dust, insects etc 😳
I so prefer watching your best hotel vlogs rather than the worst hotel ones 🤢😂
It's a fantastic hotel, stayed there just opened. Now looking forward to going back in July for the Hot Ice show. If Tim you not seen go back. Stay at hotel and do the whole show and dinner package 😊
Stayed in the Henson hotel over the weekend and thought as I walked past this hotel we would have a video from you soon at it and here you are
My lad was working on the bar when ya visited..it was nice to see him look busy when ya filmed..😂😂
Woww what a room!! I did like the separation with wardrobe and kettle area it makes bedroom/sitting area separate so I liked that personally I'd never pay £19 for brekki though as always 👍(I remember the Star pub situated there in the 90s and other side of Old entrance so good to watch)
It wasn't £19 for breakfast, it was £19.99 !!
