I have always felt that no matter whether you enjoyed his music or not(i love it!),you always knew that mr.cocker gave you ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING he had on that stage.he held nothing back and for that he has my everlasting respect.
Truer words never spoken. I sincerely mean this. Great observation. And btw, he has surpassed Bowie in my book. I feel so guilty. Ok, maybe but surpassed. But tie they are now tied. 😍
Just came across this version. 2013... what heart and soul. A man who gave it all his entire life. Still sang like an angel. Rip Joe and thank you for sharing your genius and love.
This man was a fantastic entertainer until the end...shortly after this concert. R.I.P. Joe...you were one on the best. I grew up listening to your music...[1957]

I've rolled with Joe Cocker since '69' my first live concert was at Cobo Hall in Detroit in the 70's and a later one at the Fox Theatre in Atanta. This Live Concert 'Fire it up' in Cologne has to be the max that I've ever heard, wonderful to have lived to see how Joe Cocker has expanded and for my ears, really nailed this one!!!!
