I'm in love with this song and honestly can't get enough of it. No, it's not country, but hey, it's pretty flipping good. It's a lot more positive than most things on the radio, so I'm not complaining. Honestly I don't think it sounds anything like T Swift, at least none of her recent songs. Way to go on being so versatile and able to switch back and forth between two different genres, The Band Perry! Love it :)

I work at a grocery store and this is one of the songs on the absolutely awful playlist that I make an exception for and I actually like lol. it makes me joyous and sometimes will give me a boost of energy, especially when I hum the chorus with the changing chords on the words “liiiiiiights” and “tiiiiiiight”
I can't really say that I'm such a fan but I do love their songs, I remember playing their songs, just simply jammin' to it. I first heard this on Spotify and I was like" Oh The Band Perry, I have to listen to this" and I noticed that they went pop AND DAMN THIS SONG IS JUST SO FREAKIN LIT I IMMEDIATELY DOWNLOADED IT THIS IS THE BOMB. "Stay In The Dark" is such a MASTERPIECE. To say I love it is an understatement.
When I saw those outfits I was afraid that this song would be to dark and loud for my taste. But guys, it's amazing and cheerful and catchy and I love it!

I've always liked the Band Perry, but I find their change a very great shift. I think that they are following their musical desires, not intentionally attempting to pull a "Taylor Swift".
