I know this is video is over two years old but I’ve had this song in my head for the past few months. My wife’s been critically ill with multiple autoimmune disorders since November 2017. Have been transferred from 5 different hospitals. Know what she has but have not found the best way to fight what her body is fighting against. For the past 3 weeks she’s been with little to no mental status. But she keeps fighting. She’s been going thru a lot of these medical issues since 2015 but has always fought hard and I made a promise to her and our children that we would fight and when she isn’t able to fight I would fight for her. It’s been very hard and trying for our family. I’ve had to resign from my position at work to care for her full time. My wife Monica is the ultimate “Comeback Kid” and whenever I hear this song it inspires me to keep fighting and not give up. So thank you for always creating great music especially this song which has helped me thru sleepless nights and hard days of making sure her care is the best she can get. Please if at all possible keep my wife Monica in your thoughts and prayers.

Every summer, my dad and I attend a handful of country concerts together. It's our own personal "summer concert series" that we enjoy together. We first saw TBP perform when they opened for Brad Paisley. We have been in love since and now attend one, sometimes multiple, TBP concerts every year. At my wedding, my father/daughter dance was to Pioneer because of our shared love for TBP and now Comeback Kid is encouraging me through a, most likely, divorce.
