AWESOME quad. Just bought an 08 450xc stock and it flat out hauls ass. I had a raptor 700 before and this is by far a better quad. It doesn't have the slap you in the face torque the raptor does but acceleration wise it's just as fast if not faster. Definitely wasn't realized at the time how good this quad was, and would have been if the market(in the USA) for them hadn't disappeared.
im buying a ltr in june. but has it gave u any problems on trails? cause i noticed theres not alot of ground clearence on it. im between a yfz and a ltr
The TRX 250r will loose, unless you have a ton of mods. i have a 250r w/ coolhead 18cc dome wiseco piston pipe/silencer with porting, and the 525 still wins. :)(plus the 525 has power everywhere)
im thinking between a yfz450R or a KTM 450xc i know yamaha has always been good to me vary reliable machine not the most powerful but i like reliable more than power. anyway can anyone tell me how reliable is the KTM xc quad?? that hydraulic clutch seems like it will give anytime and loose pressure. CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME THERE TWO SENSE ABOUT THE KTM QUAD??
Ds450 looks so ugly (I love the Ds650) but look at this KTM 525, `drooling~~ Reverse,no plasstic brake resy, triple rate shocks,4way adjustable bars,easy adjust valves,and look at those BOLTS wow, no alu rivets here! hmmm looks real QUALITY to me!

The XC is narrower, has different shocks, older engine (RFS), taller, different tires etc

He says 10-12mm schims... i raised my bars 40mm without any problems.

its not worth it for the price most of the stuff ktm has on this bike other bikes have it
the xc is gay sx better
