Update and some final words on this tractor. New Holland stepped up and helped me out this time. So Thank you to them. Sad it took my other NH video that has over 15k hits to get them motivated.... That being said, the sheer # of electronics, big brother items , foreign made parts and foreign assembly is no doubt a serious problem with ALL tractor brands today. Long gone are the days of "Made in America". That phrase used to mean something.... My advice to anyone about to buy a new tractor is to get the extended warranty that FULLY INCLUDES electronics. If they don't offer, walk out the door. Finally, if you are successfully able to get an extended warranty that covers electronics, go ahead and find out anyway the replacement part and labor on the ECM, DPF, Fuel sensor etc. Mark my words they will fail at some point and most likely it will be after the warranty expires. IMO it's by design that a lot of electronics in equipment, cars, trucks etc are "programmed" to fail at a certain point. Even scarier is you have no recourse but to take it to a dealer and use their software. No fixing it yourself on these types of things. They really have us by the cojones....
From working at a newholland dealer these tractors are built by LS and the early ones with a shibaura engine had nothing but issues with the dpf and afterburners. The ECM was a well known issue so bad we had to start ordering them through LS. And if it’s out of warranty newholland won’t help at all. I had a skid steer with an F5 engine only 2 months out of powertrain warranty the secondary engine oil pressure regulator someone had installed a snap ring wrong (obviously a manufacturers defect) and told the customer well we can’t help you. We fought for the customer and got newholland to pay for the labor to install the engine.
Sold this tractor. Bought new similar sized tractor from a different manufacturer. Again, the new one will be used for utility work around the place. Video to be posted Friday.
Ain't no way I'd buy a new tractor. Believe Bobcat tractor are built by Kubota. I worked for a local John Deere dealer as a mechanic we also sold Bobcat products. Had a lot of trouble with the newer John Deere tractors having to shut them down to regen. Dumbest shit ever.
Bobcat is currently built by kioti. I've researched bobcat because they have really decent tractor packages price wise . I've seen some really good reviews for kioti and bobcat, but I am still shopping for a 70's model 5000 ford if I can get one with a fel

Agree that new tractors have too many electronics. I own 2 70s model fords and they never let down.
@@rickymauldin5894 Keep them til the wheels fall off. Those were good quality tractors made to last.
