Hi Donna, Thanks for your question. In general the correct way to rig two tone baits is pale side down as this best mimics what we see in bait fish. Check out my new channel @anglingadventureswestcork and let me know if you have any more questions 😀
@@westcorkbassfishingbydavid6153 thanks for the reply! I went out for about two hours with my new fish snaxs after watching your video, and I have the very problem that you suggested would happen because of the hard plastic. I have six very strong hits from big speckled trout, and I only got one hook up. I am not used to losing fish like that and I know it was because the plastic didn’t compress enough. speckled trout have soft mouths. I was surprised how much they liked the bait and was pleased with that aspect, but I am going to try your pre-drilled holes to see if I can get hook ups. If not, I’ll have to go back to some other soft plastic.
@@donnastormer9652 well that's great you got their attention, pity about the lack of hook ups. Make sure you are using a suitably sized EWG hook and yes try my drilling tip...
Thanks @rouryglen generally a slow steady retrieve, if that's not working I may walk them (Subsurface) and you could also try walking them up top (Surface). Hope this helps?
Great tip. Cheers 👍
How about getting rid of the bend in the hook??
Thanks for the brilliant idea.
Sure, lunker city texposer hooks do that but they don't really suit these baits
Very helpful thank you. Can you tell me all the two-tone colored ones do I always put the white on the bottom?

@@westcorkbassfishingbydavid6153 I did, it works!
Can you do a video explaining how to rig the black minnow soft plastics?
Could do but I would think there are already some out there?
Great video. Whats your prefered retrieve rate with these lures ?

Thanks @rouryglen, having allowed the bait to sink a slow steady straight retrieve works best for me...
West Cork Bass Fishing by David Norman what is the best lure for albacore on pier fishing
What colours do you use during the daytime, cloudy or sunny days. Tia
@@classicgentlemen4513 Sorry I don't know enough about Albies as we don't get them here in Ireland.
