if the genre isnt romance, 2 characters entering into a romantic relationship ends up almost always being less interesting then if they hadnt. I love myself some good romance shows but i hate almost all romantic subplots in non-romance not saying that the romance genre cant write boring romantic relationships either, but its just alot less rare. If its the focus of the show, it is many things, but rarely boring
big agreed; tho I prefer friendships mainly because i'm personally sick of romance in general; and also because my parents have tried to push the idea of a relationship on me a few times even tho I am aroace
Hinata falling out of love with Naruto would have improved her character. She only fell in love with him because she idolized him as something to aspire to be and realizing that would have shown she was healing and completed her character arc. After that she could fall in love with _literally anyone,_ even fall back in love with Naruto now that she can see him as a whole person instead of her idealized hero, and the whole show would have been improved.
@@ackkenan2346 I agree tbh there is a huge problem in Naruto of the female characters having a very male gaze view of their love interests, either obsessed with their body or what they represent. Not that many women IRL don't also do this but it's NOT romantic in the slightest. They did try to correct this with Ino seeing into Sai's mind and becoming genuinely interested in who he is as a person but the others are still very shallow.
@@ackkenan2346 I personally wanted Sakura to end up with a rando at the end of the main series that would get fleshed out in Boruto. It could have been a ninja that was literally the opposite of Sasuke or a medical Nin that had some visual similarites to the goof.
@@LakinMae5 i kinda like zutara, they have that good old, enemies to lovers, sun-moon and water-fire thing going for them, but i prefer zuko and Jin (ngl anything that isnt zuko and mai is good for me)
erggh exactly! Honestly, it’s really annoying when people read something and go “oh, this ship would be better!” without even considering if it actually made canon better.
@@Yay-ub4fe These people often aren't in it for the narrative in the first place. They think the ship fundamentally improves the story because to them, the story exists solely (or at least primarily) to give them fuel for their ship.
i was thinking the same thing lol, most of the ships mentioned that i actually recognized in this video were NOT something that wouldve made canon better. like, the atla/lok ones, the owl house ones, the she ra ones?? maybe its just cause i liked the canon ships in those fandoms, but i really dont even think any of those wouldve made the narrative better or make more sense lol
While I do hate queerbaiting, I really hate when people say a relationship between thisxthis character would've somehow been better just because they're of opposite gender
Yeah, like some I agree with, but I think Jade and Tori are just too far off. That being said, I really think that they should have just put cat and that one curly headed boy together at the very beginning and broke off the relationship with Jade and her boyfriend in season 2 or 3.
Exactly, some of these characters don't even know each other or their main stories don't really revolve around romance. Shipping them together in the story would not make sense.
I just feel like people insisting that romance is somehow more meaningful than friendship is just so icky. Friendships are just as meaningful. It kinda hurts to see friendship consistently being discredited in fandom spaces.
A lot of discrediting of friendships, particularly male/male friendships feel also like stereotyping and reinforcement of toxic masculinity. Wow these two men have emotions clearly this means they are gay because straight guys feel nothing and are not allowed to be emotionally vulnerable around other people! Wow this character is definitely gay because he likes GiRlY tHiNgS! We need more emotionally vulnerable close friendships between men in media. Though on the flipside we can also do with more hyper masculine macho openly gay characters because sexuality isn't an indicator of personality or interests.
I feel this way too. Especially with m/f ships (which is why Harry/Hermione always bugged me-just because they’re friends of the opposite sex doesn’t mean they NEED to be together). In fact with most of my favourite ships my opinions on it has been more like “I love their interactions but I don’t need to see them be explicitly romantic, just end with the suggestion that it MIGHT happen.”
Oh yeah, saying that romance is "more meaningful" is weird, but I think some of the time, it's said in the context of almost canon queer ships and/or bad writing. Like writers writing every interaction romantically or inserting romance in an established friendship as a plot contrivance. I love romance but every single close relationship in a character's life having romantic undertones grinds my gears immensely.
Oh my finally people understand, I hate that people think romance > friendship. Just because two people don't end up together doesn't mean they care any less for each other. People only make a big deal out of romance because usually it just between two people while you can have multiple friends. Romance and friendship are two different form of love, just like there are different types of people and different ways to show affection. Doesn't mean one is superior then the other. But yes, I am a huge shipper.
Tomstar from star vs. They had a very messy but compelling dynamic that truly felt like two teenagers in love unlike starco that felt like the romanticized “happily ever after” trope. Starco was messy and that was a good thing. That show in general deserved better but if Tomstar stayed canon that would’ve made me feel a little bit better.
Any Star or Marco ship that isnt Starco in SVTFOE The WHOLE series had this will they/wont they with Star and Marco to the point where they got together, broke up, got with other people, broke up, and got together. It wasn't a healthy relationship and they were literally CURSED to be together. If they had just stuck with the relationships they had got in already, or fuck even went with something else (im a Tomco fan) not canon and stuck with it the show would have been so much better. Honestly the show had a terrible ending and I was super disappointed because there was a time I really enjoyed it. There was so many poor decisions in that show that I could just rant about and rant about :/
As someone who doesn't necessarily ship Tomco, I agree. ANY FREAKING SHIP would have been better for these two... Not to mention, I sorta grew tired of the shippers. And let's not forget the horrible final episode. In my opinion, shipping literally ruined the show.
I find it exceedingly rare that a fandom hates the main, canon pairing of their story. And from what I can tell, the show bends over ass backwards just to make StarCo happen to the absolute detriment of its characters and plot. I can definitely see where y'all are coming from.
Starco really could’ve been done better, but the ending of the show was even worse it felt so rushed, out of character, and out of place, like pairing off Jackie with Chloe, that made zero sense.
I’m an enjoyer of a lot of the mentioned ships, but most of these responses are just “I think they work well together” and “the writers teased/baited the fans,” not giving grounded reasons why a romantic subplot between the characters would have actively improved the narrative.
I suspect most of these people don't really give a damn about the actual narrative -- they're in it solely to wring some wish fulfillment out of it, romantic or otherwise.
Yeah I love mothpool and bismuth/pearl but neither would greatly improve the narrative imo. I think the most convincing arguments were Katara x zuko and amity x willow. And it's mostly just because they had actually arguments
@@ice_plsI disagree that Zutara would make the writing better because both characters hated each other for most of the show. Katara only forgave Zuko near the end of the last season, they have absolutely no time for growth into a relationship. Anyways most people ship them because they look good together, when in reality their personalities clash because they are both hot tempered and impulsive (ex in the southern raiders zuko helps Katara get revenge even if it wasn’t the right thing to) plus Katara forgiving him and creating a friendship with someone who used to be her enemy is more impactful. Throwing in romance would cheapen that in my opinion.
@@maelenia Yeah like I said the arguments are only really good when compared to people who didn't have real arguments. And I still think zutara (which I actually dont like btw) might've worked better than Katang, which I think was rushed and lacked chemistry. Maybe instead of a kiss at the end just a hint they might get together in the future.
@@ice_pls I agree with you, kataang was rushed and not well thought out. I do also think that the kiss at the end was unnecessary and it would’ve had been better if the romance was left ambiguous.
Scott Pilgrim and Wallace Wells should have been exes, it just makes SO much sense for them to have been together in their collage days. The funniest thing is the comic creator really likes this ship and Wallace has always been included in any merch featuring Scott's ex girlfriends
I feel obligated to say Narumitsu, aka Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth. some of the storyline would've been better if they had just gotten together in-between the third game and the fourth game, where Phoenix stopped being the protagonist. instead, capcom was a coward and made Miles go to europe while Phoenix was in one of the worst, if not THE worst, era of his life. they could've coparented together!! although i do think it's fine that they aren't together canonically (yet!! that's the magic word 💜), i do wish something was implied during the 7 year gap. :p update from like 8 months later: im not even a huge fan of nrmts anymore but im surprised i wrote this much about it omg..
I think Harry Potter would have been better if Harry had ended up with Luna. Thematically it would make sense, the books would have a more cohesive message about accepting people who are different and being your authentic self. The books sort of half-assed that theme by having the Dursleys try and force Harry to be normal, but the message never really got developed enough to hit home, imo. I think those two had really nice chemistry, as well.
I do not know a lot of these ships because I haven’t watched the shows they come from, but some of them seemed kinda stupid. Like, “Fellas, is it gay to care for your friends?” level of stupid.
Right? Nothing against gay ships. Canon or non-conan. I like or see many of them. But so much, especially in this post, say they like the ships, without any explaination. They like these, just because they're gay. And a couple aren't very close friends, who just kiss each other. There is so much more to it than that. Like so many ships would ruin the friendship and the general relationship between the two.
WrightWorth 100% Yes, I know that the canon story still makes sense with them being childhood friends that reunited after so many years. But seriously, the way they learn to trust each other and are important to each other is just amazing to me. When I first got into Ace Attorney, I kinda knew about the ship and just thought “oh haha fans will ship anything, there’s no way anyone would like this unironically.” No, it’s just so perfect and yet it never happened.
me and my first partner literally got together because of wrightworth. its still a part of me today-my chosen name is phoenix :’) theyre gay, your honor
@@wrightcember1) that doesn’t make any sense how it is how you got a partner and it a “part of you”? 2) cool? So you like the name phoenix? Objection your honour! Relevance?
not much into ace attorney anymore but when I first played the games I genuinely thought that they would get together at some point it just makes too much sense.. and this was YEARRS AGO before I even had social media and so I didn't know what shipping was so I wasn't influenced by media to think this 😭😭😭
Pearl and Marina from Splatoon. They're 100% meant to be girlfriends, Nintendo keeps teasing us with their dialogue, expressions and interactions, and in the Splatoon manga there's even a bonus thing called 'Dear Pearlie' (I think it's called that) which basically conveys how much Marina wishes she could express her feelings for Pearl! Pearl even threatened Cap'n Cuttlefish up make sure he didn't hurt Marina after Cuttlefish revealed that Marina used to be in the Octarian Army! They're girlfriends your honour.
Forgot to add this, but there's also an in-universe interview with Pearl which had a section that went something like this: [Interviewer] What's the best gift you've ever received? [Pearl] The chance to meet Marina!
Not only that but right before Splatoon 3 released, Nintendo posted one of those relationship chart thingies, and Marina's relationship to Pearl says "Maiden in Love" It's pretty much canon.
Elphaba and Glinda in Wicked. I've never been actively in the Wicked fandom (familiar with the story and songs though) but the gelphie shippers are just correct. I know people throw around "there's no heterosexual explanation for this" but i legitimately don't understand how it's possible to listen to What is this feeling and not immediately come to the conclusion that these women are having romantic feelings for each other that they don't quite understand or want. It also just makes the story so much more tragic.
Yesssssss! Then all the drama with Duncan, objectively one of the worst parts of the show, would have been ended without a bunch of hurt feelings or anything!
Lots of Miraculous issues could be solved if Kagami, Adrien, Marinette and Luka were in a poly relationship. (Edit: changed it and added Luka cuz y'all are so right)
It would cut the amount of episodes needed in half tbh, but I can see why they wanted to prolong the end of one of the main hooks of the show and keep it hetero-manogumus-normative to keep the support of the distributers
Not to mention this would create more fanfiction of my personal favorite ship from the show: Mariani. They have a good friendship, it would thematically be a rivals to lovers, and I just like wlw romances. I read through Ao3 stories of them so much last year I cleared every page of their ship . . . Which wasn't a lot anyways, but still conveys my desperation.
This comment about to make me start snapping like its poetry night. I could imagine how stable the relationship would be and how'd it change the way they interacted with each other. I still hate the way Felix and Kagomi just happened??? It kinda felt like a way to get Kagomi out of the equation 😕
Yosuke hanamura and yu narsukami from persona 4. Thee are voice lines in the game files that indicate that yosuke was meant to be a romance option(the lines had him confessing to the player character aka yu narukami). It honestly makes his character make more sense. If he is a deeply closeted bisexual, then his homophobia would then be him projecting his insecurities onto others. Plus, the boy is just obviously a bit fruity
I was thinking the exact same thing. Also, for Persona 5, I’m not sure I’d call this a ship becoming canon, but I think it would’ve been good for Akechi’s character if there was a scene where he at least admitted to having romantic feelings for Joker. It’d take a lot of work to actually make him datable in-game. But even without that, it’d be nice for his character arc to show he’s trying to be more honest with himself and more genuine around the other characters. It’d fit the ‘taking off the mask’ motif of the game.
Horse and Wammawink from Centaurworld. There was a perfect narrative foil to lovers arc and I was actually surprised they didn’t get together in the end. I think that might’ve actually been the intended direction in season 1 but not by season 2. I liked them as friends too but as I understood it they had a more unique and strong connection than the rest of the herd.
I want to say Wednesday and Enid, though more in a QPR way, I guess. Honestly, Wednesday pursuing anyone romantically feels off, and felt super clunky to watch too. She’s very logical and was willing to use anyone to reach her goal. Yet, being forced to work with Enid taught her remorse. There were only two characters she treated with some sort of genuine emotion in the series (first season), and the other she expressly mentioned reminded her of her little brother. There’s progression, learning from each other, protecting each other. It’s not exactly romance, but it’s a level of emotional attachment that Wednesday only has for Enid. Maybe my perspective is flawed, being aroace, but that just makes narratively so much sense to me.
I support wenclair or Wednesday being aroace and nothing else 😂 there is no way either of them are straight and interested in the most boring boys ever
I agree, I feel like Wednesday should have been aro/ace because that feels the most fitting with her character, but if she got with anyone it DEFINITELY should have been Enid. Her having some random male love interest was like a slap in the face.
I say its dependent on the game tbh, but that's because I'm someone who thinks that platonic love is underestimated in fiction. The examples in this video are probably the most canon the ship has ever been though lol
i'm glad there were people who said that no ships is better or that yearning and pining is more fun anyway. all the excitement seems to just leave my body as soon as characters get together. pretty much always it feels like something is missing. every time characters get together it feels like there's should've been more. with most of these (or those i'm familiar with at least) i feel like nothing would improve about the characters or the stories. the only positive change would be people who care about the ship getting what they wanted. i want the vagueness, i want these people to coexist in a way that suits them without having to explain it. there's a ship or two that "just care for each other" in my eyes and no words could describe their relationship better. the ambiguity makes space for the kinds of love that don't get represented as much because romance always gets prioritized for some reason. you get to interpret it in a way that brings you the most peace. i have to say: i want more queer representation because people need it. i'm also tired of having romance shoved in my face. if you're still reading, regarding some of the ships mentioned: i seem to dislike things quite strongly. when i say i don't like bakudeku, i mean it. they never made sense to me. not a single thing people say in support of them is romantic to me (nothing ever is). they're not in love, they simply have known each other for a long-ass time because it's a thing that happens. they lived close by and went to the same school for their own reasons. they're bound to interact a lot since they're in the same spaces all the time. and whatever romantic attraction is, seeing them mend their relationship and stand together on less painful ground means more to me than any romance ever could. they don't need to kiss, they need to talk. a lot. and then some more. as for zutara, i have no strong feelings of any kind. but boy, do i hate kataang. three seasons of her not even considering him just to make them kiss in the end. in what world does that look earned? and why pair anyone up at all? the war most of them grew up in is finally over, they can have their childhoods now. and while i do love sokka and suki, i probably wouldn't root for them if they weren't already canon. anyway, sorry for a novel-length cry for help. if anyone here feels like something's off and doesn't know what to do about it, i can't do anything about it either but know you're not alone.
I totally agree with you that I enjoy ships before they are together. Yearning and pining is all I want! Sometimes when a canon ship gets together, their chemistry gets so bland and washed out and sometimes the characters personality changes drastically, I hate it. As you said, ambiguity between characters who care for each other dearly is sooo much better. I honestly haven’t found anyone else who has felt the same way until now. As for the avatar comments, I’m quite the opposite. I really don’t like Zutara (I have my reasons but that would be too long), and I feel meh about kataang. I do believe their relationship wasn’t well made and was really one sided but i honestly didn’t care about it much. In all honesty, I didn’t want Aang to get with anyone, but he does need to continue the line of air-benders so I would prefer that he married someone else (maybe it’s not even specified). Anyways those are my thoughts!
Emily and Charlie from Hazbin Hotel would have been poetic. The daughter of Lucifer and the little sister of the High Seraphim. The union of Hell and Heaven working together to give sinners a chance at redemption. Vaggie still works well with Charlie, as a fallen angel who found her home in the Underworld. Fuck it, Charlie has two hands!
i agree. but personally i don't feel anything for vaggie/charlie and i've seen a lot of ppl say that too. i think the ending of s1 was interesting but before that they were just boring, but ig that's the established relationship curse - making people care.
I agree! It would've made for a really interesting plot. Honestly I'd prefer if they start dating, and Charlie and Vaggie were to break up. But I honestly don't see it happening. For a story about sinners and "heavy" plotline, things are kept extremely tame and overly fluffy/comedic
Considering the show does a lot of parallels between Charlie and Vaggie to Lucifer and Lilith, I think there is a strong argument that Emily could be their Eve, given Lucifer’s comments during the finale possibly implying the three of them could have been in a poly relationship
my musical theatre class read and analyzed wicked and we all agreed that glinda and elphaba should have pulled a Legend of Korra on fiyero. i mean, i knoooooow, people can love each other as friends and that's just as important as romantic love, but...we've all listened to what is this feeling! you can't give us "my pulse is rushing, my head is reeling, my face is flushing" and NOT expect us to read into it
Most of these are "ship that should have been canon but because of homophobia they're not" I should have expected that by now but i wanted to have faith for once, oh well
@@andjelabozic2317 i personally see them as "had better chemistry with someone else, but because they're the same gender the writers made them end up with a bland love interest instead" But everything in this video are people opinions, so there's probably bias, maybe it true that some couples here are just "gay=better", but there's some couples that have been obviously just not been made canon cause of homophobia
YES! im biased cause I was bullied most of my life for being different (autistic) so Izuku's backstory really touched me so Bakugou doing things I suffered and took years to recover made really mad and finding out about the ship made me furious.
Im saying this as someone who despises bakudeku, that happened over 2 years ago in universe, bakugou already apologised and proved that he is a different person than he used to be when he said that. Izuku has already let go,its about time the fandom does the same
@@Solacedew I seen what you mean. But relationship wise would you really want to date someone who mentally and physically abused you for like about 10 or 11 years. I mean the friendship I can understand but relationship not so much.

Seeing the Mothpool person makes me feel slightly less embarrassed about talking about silly cat books so uh.... Warrior Cats time ig. To be honest, Shadowroot (Shadowsigjt x Rootspring) DEFINITELY need more booktime in the coming asc (or 9th arc) books. I don't read a whole lot of warriors anymore but I remember reading tbc and thinking Shadowroot would be such a good ship, especially after Bristlefrost died. It would've been so cute to see Shadowsight helping Rootspring with his grief after literally watching his mate drown. I know they're probably not going to return as POV characters for the rest of asc or the ninth arc but a Novella would probably be able to tie their stories up nicely, because due to everything happening in asc right now Rootspring's story feels so unfinished, and it would be better to see him and Shadowsight get together in some Novella of sorts.
Monster High Gen 1 - Draculaura with Clawdeen (Claud can date draculaura's ex idk), Frankie with Jason and Holt (Yes, they dated, but they should've STAYED canon instead of Frankie getting a new boy toy every movie), as well as Twila with Howleen (There was NOTHING hetero about 7 wishes, let me tell you) Ever After High: I wish we got ANY follow-up with Darling & Apple. They barely interact after the kiss, and NOBODY brings it up again. You'd think Apple of all people would be absolutely shocked that Charming wasn't HER prince charming, and even more so that her prince charming wasn't even a prince! And finally, OHSHC: Although I hate this anime (solely because of kyoya), I firmly believe Haruhi should've ended up with Ritsu Casanoda or Mori.
@@justinecourtneysgavel89 yes, Frankie should have dated both Holt and Jackson. It’s enough of a grey area that they could sneak in some poly representation, and I liked how she bonded with both of them differently. Each one completed her in a different way, and that would have been fun to explore. My EAH ship that I wish we’d gotten more of was Daring and Lizzie. They only had one episode, but there was also stuff in the books. Lizzie was the only girl who wasn’t chasing after Daring for being Charming, and he only had eyes for her in the books, ignoring the other girls. I wish this relationship was more explored, they will forever be my OTP.
2012 Apritello. I don’t even ship them. I hate the ship in fact. Why? Because the writers kept poking and prodding and making little nods to them being a couple but never had the guts to make it an official thing. Donnie has a crush on April, April clearly doesn’t reciprocate the feelings, but there are so many scenes where they kiss and have serious tension, and it’s just frustrating knowing that April is literally just playing with him, and for what? Fun?? If they had given April a crush on Donnie over time it genuinely would have solved all of this and I wouldn’t have this intense irrational hatred for 2012 April O’Niel. Donnie deserved better. This concludes my TED talk thanks for coming
Agreed. Good grief, the simping from Casey and Donnie, the leading on from April… it made me rlly hate any sort of ship with her in it for 2012. Time was WASTED. That and Leo and Karai… that was just weird. I don’t even know what happened to Karai in S5- she just became party uppity girl???

6:59 This is only true for the movie, though. In the musical, Emmett gets a lot more stage time, a full established backstory, and so, so, SO many cute scenes. Plus, Christian as Emmett is just adorable in general.
I wouldn't call Ginnie/Harry sudden, more like "underdeveloped". They had their moments - in the fifth book, for example, where they were talking about Voldemort invading Harry's brain, since Ginnie was the only one who could relate to him. Also, Ginnie didn't stay that fangirl from the second book, she even actively pursued other relationships, and developed her own personality, separate from "the girl who loves MC". I just they interacted a little bit more, especially at the point when Harry started having worries about being a third wheel in Hermione/Ron relationship.
The books actually develop them a lot better, I think the movie directors thought Harry was gonna end herminone, which is why they have so much chemistry in the movies, not knowing that wasn’t the final plan
Merther and of course destiel. Stop making them behave like a couple and just let them be a couple! I agree with stucky and loki/mobias too. Then again i tend to watch everything through slash goggles.
Azicrowley will be canon tho, Crowley confessed in second season and third probably will be about Muriel Adam the car and Jesus to get them together again because: -MISTER CROWLEY WHY WOULD YOU DIVORCE AZIRPAHELLE -we weren’t married Muriel…. -(it’s too late they already did…) Btw Jesus is friends with Crowley in bible so-
Aziraphale and Crowley are canonically in love, and always have been. Even in the original book, which came out in 1990, they don’t explicitly say that they love each other, but their behavior makes it obvious, and everyone can see it. In fact, Anathema figures out they’re in love after knowing them for MINUTES.
@tayschannel2695 Anathema is the witch who’s a descendant of Agnes Nutter and has the only copy of her book. She spends most of the story in Tadfield trying to find the Antichrist, and not realizing it’s Adam.

Blazamy (Blaze the Cat/Amy Rose from Sonic the Hedgehog) Even though I do love Silvaze and Sonamy, if Sega ever decides to do any canon ships for Amy or Blaze, I think it woupd be good for both of their characters! Amy no longer being head-over-heels for Sonic (again, I still like Sonamy and know Amy's character has been getting imroved lol) Blaze finally opening her heart up to someone and showing a more vulnerable side thay would give her a lot of growth They just seem good for each other!
Sashamilla from Psychonauts. It's very much hinted at, but not canon. Honestly, under the context of a romantic relationship between them, so many gaps could be filled. We know Milla felt extreme guilt when the orphanage burned down and she heard the screams of the children. What if the Psychonauts found her, and Sasha taught her to work through her trauma? (Although she does it in a more healthy way than him, since all he does is repress his trauma until it all spills out.) On the other end, Sasha is an expressionless, seemingly cold scientist who spends all day in his lab and has no problems experimenting on others, so he seems far from fatherly or caring. However, what if Milla's motherly tendencies influenced him to soften up a bit, and that's why he's a wonderful father figure to Raz?
8:12 I literally mouthed "YES" (I would've probably screamed it if it wasn't midnight) when I read "Mothwing and Leafpool" because it's always been one of my favorite ships in the Warriors fandom. @SirStarCat. Unfortunately, I think you are right :( I am still hoping they will at least get mentioned in the movie (really collecting bread crumbs here) but I am trying not to get my hopes up either.
For the most part, I agree with the ending of the video. Sometimes, they make your ship canon and then ruin it. But, I do genuinely think Erasermic in MHA would make things so much better! Like, I know being best friends, they can rely on each other, but I think Aizawa just REALLY needs someone to come home to (and NOT Ms. Joke, he hates her!) and comfort him. Someone he could trust to take care of him and feel vulnerable around while he's basically incapacitated in the hospital. And for Hizashi, Aizawa is like the one person he can show all his emotions to, who he doesn't have to put on the whole Present Mic persona for. Plus, them bonding and becoming intimately closer after their shared trauma would make a lot of sense. And, with their little group of friends slowly dying off, it would give them a "we literally only have each other" situation that I feel like would add a lot of beautiful extra tension to the final battle. I don't know, just my rant.
I knew somebody was gonna say this. That's terrible idea dude. They have the perfect high school friends relationship and their missing third is very important. Making them gay wrecks their dynamic. Him "having someone to come home to" would be better as just a wife (or husband if you prefer) that we meet a couple times and dont get anything on, aizawa doesnt need a romance, let alone with his best friend.
I’m gonna be honest Cassandra x rapunzel would’ve been perfect if Eugene didn’t exist. Class just gives lesbian vibes, they give her so many scenes where it looks like she’s hiding her feelings, and the plot twist would’ve been better.
I agree with this one 100 percent honestly. I know that the waters get muddy later in the show but to me them getting together would have still been great.
So many same-sex ships make it clear to me - it might be just easier to write genuinely warm relationships and fun chemistry between friends without romantic potential in mind. That being said, romance by itself is not necessary for writing good relationship, characters growing on each other and affecting each other's lives.
Fr. I think friendships are being devalued lately( because some people are becoming increasingly hedonistic), so it makes sense people can't imagine two characters bonding without being attracted to one another. Hence why friends of same gender are seen as closeted. Which is really sad and stupid. You can be close to someone without wanting to sleep with them, and I can always appreciate two characters who strongly care about each other platonically. I know sometimes authors like to queerbait but it really doesn't happen as often as people would claim it. It's just a projection.
@@andjelabozic2317 first of all people will ship regardless, second, authors have always seemed to be more comfortable writing friendships between two same gendered characters over two characters of different genders. leading to a better dynamic and more interesting ship and you only mention same gender ships but uh, this phenomenon is actually a lot more common with pairs of m/f it just not seen as much in actual shipping but like everywhere else in society, one stand out i can think of is parents looking a two toddlers that are both children and one is a boy and the other and a girl and then one parent goes "aw its like there dating" which is just gross, let them be kids, its interesting that inside shipping fandom youll see people go for queer ships more mainly due to lack of representation, and when you dont have good rep, you make your own through interpretations of other people's work. oop sorry i ranted, have a nice day
todd and neil from dead poets society. it just would’ve made the death scene even more tragic and would explain even more why todd was even more upset than charlie who had known neil for longer.
while I agree, I think it makes it more allegorical for those young mlm teens if it does go unsaid. even if it does okay onto the "we're not allowed to be gay" thing that a lot of these shows/movies have going on. but they *weren't* allowed to, Neil especially with his father and we can assume the same with Todd's parents. it does make sense, but the metaphors and hints make it better for queer teens to watch in solidarity.
I'm here just like "I don't care who ends up with who, just make sure the process is interesting" I don't really ship, as much as I like romance subplots as I see them as a great tool second to a redemption arc to exploring who a character is, I don't care who they end up with as long as you use the tool well. Except for one.... I have one ship that hasn't sailed due it only being one movie but I see if it grew naturally I'd think it would work great. Mostly due to thematic elements, how they are both great counters to each other allowing them to be the best of each other, and overall and importantly to me how entertaining the journey would be. SITREP: I have obtained now two ships. Though this one wouldn't matter to anyone because its part of a very, very, new web comic. Though my 90 likes and I'll revel it doesn't apply to them, as on the comment section one of the platforms the comic is on I just straight up openly admitted it if you find it, I don't know I make a joke about it at some point in time.
@@BooTheEater I’d think it’d be obvious, but I guess not. okay how’s this sound? If the comment gets 90 likes, reply to it again and I’ll drop it like I’m revealing the next iPhone or something
KiriBaku. That ship is just RIFE with potential. How would these two dudebro characters feel about feel about developing feelings for another guy? Hell, how would Bakugo feel about developing feeling for ANYONE? I'm like 99.99% sure that Class 1A would be 100% supportive (with maybe some inital mild discomfort from, say, Grape Boy) of them. But, how would they navigate their relationship? Kirishima seems pretty patient with Bakugou as friends but would that get tested as they are now a couple? And the thing I'd like to know most about the dynamic would be: how would Kirishima feel and react to learning that Bakugou used to be a horrible bully/abuser to Midoriya while they are in a relatively good place in their relationship? I can't imagine it would go over well. And the potential fallout could get Bakugo really introspective and reflext on his past and current behavior.
I 100% agree with this. Kiribaku feels like the Bakugou that actually makes sense. Like, Bakugou sees Kirishima as an equal, so there would have to be something going on. If only they had more time to shine, but no their development with rivals/friends Mina and Deku had to put Kiribaku to a halt. 💀
Duuude, I agree 100%. They have such a cool dynamic with each other and what you said would really enhance the show. The bully part specifically would have been so great because that is never really explored with past bully characters in their relationships. The bullying part is also why I don't ship MidoriBaku as I HATE the bully x victim romance trope with a burning passion. As a victim of bullying, having that romance trope feels like a romanization of the bullying when not done properly (like for example, a character bullying another but apologizing, doing things to show they changed for the better, and moving on as a better person; and even then I wouldn't want them to get together). Anyways, you are so right and based with your take on KiriBaku having so much potential.
The obvious one is Destiel. And no, that final scene was not the ship becoming canon. Cas said “I love you”, Dean basically said “no homo” then Cas immediately died! Dean’s whole arc was breaking away from who his father expected and raised him to be and becoming his own person. Plus I very much doubt John was an ally.
I've been saying this for years, they shoulda been a couple as they mirror each other and have the deepest connection amongst any characters in the entire series.
I'm a bit shocked that nobody mentioned Kagehina (Kageyama Tobio x Hinata Shoyou) From Haikyuu! Them starting out as rivals and slowly developing a friendship and partnership was amazing, but I'd also adore to see something more between them! As a gay guy, we're usually starved for content that isn't made by straight women for straight women. So to see gay couples being chill and not making a big fuss about it for once would've been great! I'd especially love to see how their teammates would handle their relationship! Along with that, i feel as though the love interests for them ended up being a bit too rushed and not developed enough! Which is such a pity because they all had a lot of potential! But overall, I hope in the movie, now in 2024 they finally have the guts to do my boys justice!
I've re-entered my Haikyuu phase recently so I'm actually grinding through all my KageHina and IwaOi fics but mannnn, both those ships have so much potential especially Kagehina. I genuinely can't see Kageyama being interested in dating anyone who isn't as dedicated to volleyball as he is. I. Just. Can't. My brain fails to see him actually marry anyone who isn't at least a pro-level volleyball player. Not just that, but Hinata is one of few people who not only matches his energy and is able to keep up with him but also Kageyama trusts and understands him on a deeper level vice versa. I can imagine Hinata dating someone who's not that interested in volleyball and being fine with it, but for him it'd definitely be a massive plus too if he could play volleyball with his partner. They just WORK. Plus, aren't they canon soulmates or something? I don't think it would've necessarily made Haikyuu!! better if they were canon because it's a show about volleyball and romance is sidelined, but it would've definitely made since narratively if after the MSBY vs Addler match they eloped and got married. So it definitely wouldn't have taken away from the show. Plus, can we all agree Yachi is canonically a lesbian? Because her reaction to Kiyoko was not straight at all.
I wish ther were more polyamory in media because so many love triangles and interesting dynamics can be explored and expanded by making unhealthy/healthy characters help each other with trama (steedy hands) worked in canon but would also make for a narrative of try to understand everyone in a relationship
I mean TECHNICALLY all harem isekai anime are polyamorous (looking at you, cell phone dude). It’s not solely isekai but that’s the most prevalent genre
EXACTLY. polyamory should be in more shows and books and shit, i'm not even poly myself, i just think it's nice to see as another form of romantic love.
Hard disagree on this one. I see them more as kind of a “The feeling was frienship, but neither had ever experienced it before” dynamic. I’m a Maddieclair shipper… (i live in rarepair hell) Now if we’re talking CR ships that would make canon better: MintCocoa. It’s basically already canon already, but Devsis going the extra step and just confirming it explicitly would be objectively better for their story.
Seconding the Lokius option. No shade to Sylvie whatsoever, because I genuinely like her character, but I believe the fact Disney's Marvel preferred _canon selfcest_ to ambiguous queer representation says a lot actually. EDIT: No, I'm not finished yet. Actively giving the guy a female love interest wasn't necessary, they could've had Loki just not be explicitly involved with anybody like precedent dictated, but they _chose_ to do that with the girl who could be his identical twin _literally right after_ he offhandedly confessed to liking both genders. Which. Was certainly a choice. Seriously, I genuinely believe the show would've been improved by not having a romantic subplot at all and just having them act like siblings. And if I _had_ to choose, the show just gave us better subtext overall when it came to Lokius. It simply made more sense thematically, and I truly believe it would've happened if Mobius was a woman.
Getting rid of the sylvie romance is fine but a romance with mobius is terrible. His whole character is that hes a smug foil to Loki who eventually helps him out, a romance just changes the entire story and character of mobius.
Tokomaru fits this perfectly. The ship is literally known for its r/sapphoandherfriend energy, they are the most shipped yuri ship, and everyone in the fandom only cares about gay ships so it would be better to see some yuri spotlight
I actually mentioned the same thing lol. But I completely agree with you!! The only problem I can see is Toko's obsession with Byakuya, but it's made obvious it's never going to be reciprocated and it's not really true feelings.
@@Smiley_Winnie oh 100%. I always found it weird that UDG didnt fix up that problem IMO. They fixed SOOO much about toko and gave her possibly the biggest character development out of all the characters in danganronpa entirely but then they keep the very thing that made people uncomfortable with her to begin with, which is really strange to me. Sure, you could say it was her defining feature, but it wouldnt remove anything from her character. It just always seemed weird, but yeah, the ship is awesome despite that small problem
Personally for Victorious, I would've loved it if Andre and Tori got together. I know their dynamic was strictly supportive platonic, but they had the CHEMISTRY.
I actually think Andre and Jade would've been better. He even had a strong crush on her at one point. I think Jade would've accepted to date him if he was straightforward. I personally see Andre and Tori as just close friends.
@@andjelabozic2317 Yeah, but they’re saying it’ll hit harder. I’d be more close with someone i’m involved with romantically than my friends, and imo this goes for most people. Esp for characters in fiction. The idea that Gojo and Geto would literally kill and die for each other just feels better when you frame it that they’re the one person the other loved in such a way. Imo they don’t actually need to be together tho, just having it be more explicit they liked each other would be the best case for me. It makes the story even more tragic if you think about how it would mean that their paths diverged before they could even confess. I feel like this way of thinking is the way most people actually go for when they talk satosugu, bc yeah making them romantic only makes it more tense that they ever “broke up”, but making it that they couldn’t even get together no matter how much they liked each other adds a whole extra layer.
I have to get this off of my chest: The storyline of Wings of Fire (my favorite books of all time) would have been leagues better if Winter and Moon got together. It was not only built up over the course of FIVE seperate books, it would have also have better complemented the story's themes of forbidden love and tearing down prejudice. Also, the ship was one of two that got me into fanfiction as a whole (the other was Starlight x Sunburst from MLP, if anyone was curious).
Aziraphale and Crowley are cannon tho :-/ Also i would say Pete White and Billy Quizboy from the Venture Bros, like cmon, they pretend to be a couple because of Billy's mom, that's romcom 101
I know that they are so obviously head over heels pining for each other and have been for 6,000+ years, but I don't think that's enough to consider them _canon_ canon.
So... funny story... I had a dream the night before the grom episode aired where I was watching the episode and it turned out Luz's love interest was a character that hadn't been introduced yet. I immediately made a backup ship of Willow x Amity. I still ship Lumity and Huntlow, but sometimes that dream sneaks into my mind again.
@@thattransmuffinI’m gonna be honest, I can’t stand that ship. Maybe it’s because the fandom has shoved it down my throat too much, but I’d rather just see Hunter and Willow as friends.
I see what you mean as amity x willow has way too much baggage as amity harassed willow for no reason as she could have just ignored them but instead it's just makes no sense as her parents said she can't be friends with her not bully her.
Absolutely second the KLance reply. I’d say MatchaBlossom (Nanjo Kojiro (Joe) x Sakurayashiki Kaoru (Cherry Blossom)) from Sk8 the Infinity. Granted we don’t know for sure as the second season and OVA aren’t out yet, but like. Still. They clearly care about each other so, so deeply (see Joe being the first person at Cherry’s side at the end of Ep 9 and BRIDAL CARRYING HIM to the hospital) and if you throw in LoveBlossom (Shindo Ainosuke (Adam) x Cherry) being high school exes it just makes that trio’s drama make so much more sense. Also, AshEiji (Ash Lynx x Okumura Eiji) from Banana Fish. I know it’s more hinted at in the manga than the anime, but even that’s only in the epilogue and still really vague. Even if they weren’t literally soulmates (see “my soul is always with you” AAAHHHH), I just really want good things for Ash after all the bs he lived through.
Lukloe from Miraculous Ladybug. They never really interacted, which is a shame. The whole rich snobby girl x chill, down to earth punk boy is such a cute dynamic. I think he'd be exactly what she needs to kinda learn how to keep her cool. Also GabeNath. Natalie was totally down bad for him, and the whole show would be over if gabe had just gotten laid

YES! I.WAS.LOOKING.FOR.THIS. Does nobody see how much chemistry they have? I’m personally not much of a Moonbli shipper because of this. Moonbli is nice, but I can only see them as friends, and though Qibli got over Moon’s mind reading, I feel like he still has trust issues. Qinter is so cute, and their dynamic is so fun to explore. Heck, not even sexuality’s a problem because they’re both bi!
Me and my gf. Beacause is already canon in the history of gaming i call the world's history "of gaming" because it sounds cooler than just saying history.
I think they planned aang and katara from the beginning, since aang was clearly interested in katara - but they gave zuko a lot more of kataras personal growth moments that makes them feel more compatible until the end game hits

I always prefer friendships because I feel alot of studios butcher most romantic relationships if they do become canon.
Absolutely fair, and I agree most of the time.
if the genre isnt romance, 2 characters entering into a romantic relationship ends up almost always being less interesting then if they hadnt. I love myself some good romance shows but i hate almost all romantic subplots in non-romance
not saying that the romance genre cant write boring romantic relationships either, but its just alot less rare. If its the focus of the show, it is many things, but rarely boring
true
big agreed; tho I prefer friendships mainly because i'm personally sick of romance in general; and also because my parents have tried to push the idea of a relationship on me a few times even tho I am aroace
Same but I'm aromantic so I _might_ be biased
Hinata falling out of love with Naruto would have improved her character. She only fell in love with him because she idolized him as something to aspire to be and realizing that would have shown she was healing and completed her character arc. After that she could fall in love with _literally anyone,_ even fall back in love with Naruto now that she can see him as a whole person instead of her idealized hero, and the whole show would have been improved.
this is literally all I wanted Kishimoto to do with Sakura. Doing anything else with her would have fixed her character
YES
@@ackkenan2346 I personally wanted Sakura to end up with a rando at the end of the main series that would get fleshed out in Boruto. It could have been a ninja that was literally the opposite of Sasuke or a medical Nin that had some visual similarites to the goof.

Honestly, it’s really annoying when people read something and go “oh, this ship would be better!” without even considering if it actually made canon better.
@@Yay-ub4fe
These people often aren't in it for the narrative in the first place. They think the ship fundamentally improves the story because to them, the story exists solely (or at least primarily) to give them fuel for their ship.
The entire fanfiction subreddit, while having decent media literacy, has negative *actual* literacy.
i was thinking the same thing lol, most of the ships mentioned that i actually recognized in this video were NOT something that wouldve made canon better. like, the atla/lok ones, the owl house ones, the she ra ones?? maybe its just cause i liked the canon ships in those fandoms, but i really dont even think any of those wouldve made the narrative better or make more sense lol
Some of these are just "I like this ship so it would have been better for the plot" while they'd actually suck really hard if they were canon

@@michaelkeehan8094 hard agree
Yeah some of these really made me go “Fellas, is it gay to care for your friends?”
SO TRUE THEY WERE SO YURI

Any Star or Marco ship that isnt Starco in SVTFOE
The WHOLE series had this will they/wont they with Star and Marco to the point where they got together, broke up, got with other people, broke up, and got together. There was so many poor decisions in that show that I could just rant about and rant about :/
I can understand that. I’m a Tomco fan too
As someone who doesn't necessarily ship Tomco, I agree.
Janstar is a really sweet ship I knew it would never happen canonically but I like the idea in my mind lol
@@maelenia
Yeah like I said the arguments are only really good when compared to people who didn't have real arguments.
I feel like a few of these ignored the disclaimer in the original question, but, hey, that’s what shippers do.
Most of this video is "I like the ship, so making it canon would improve the narrative" lmao
Scott Pilgrim and Wallace Wells should have been exes, it just makes SO much sense for them to have been together in their collage days. The funniest thing is the comic creator really likes this ship and Wallace has always been included in any merch featuring Scott's ex girlfriends

the kinda gay reason they met has to mean something
That doesnt work to me. He still sleeps in the same bed as him??
Honey Lemon and Gogo from Big Hero 6/ BH6 The Series. They’d literally be perfect together
I might be wrong, but I think they're cannon in the comics?
I'm wrong. I can't find any evidence of this.

I like the trope where one is a pretty pretty princess and the other's a goth girl, but I'm not sure about that ship.
Why not Honey Lemon and Wasabi, too? Ship Honey Lemon with _both_ of them!! 😁.

WrightWorth 100%
Yes, I know that the canon story still makes sense with them being childhood friends that reunited after so many years.

Forgot to add this, but there's also an in-universe interview with Pearl which had a section that went something like this:
[Interviewer] What's the best gift you've ever received?
[Pearl] The chance to meet Marina!
Not only that but right before Splatoon 3 released, Nintendo posted one of those relationship chart thingies, and Marina's relationship to Pearl says "Maiden in Love"
It's pretty much canon.

This would've made the show goated asf tbh

Completely agreed tbh mari is already kagami's best friend basically it would've made so much sense for all 3 of them to be together
This comment about to make me start snapping like its poetry night.
I could imagine how stable the relationship would be and how'd it change the way they interacted with each other. I still hate the way Felix and Kagomi just happened??? It kinda felt like a way to get Kagomi out of the equation 😕
YES. ABSOLUTELY. THERE'S SO MUCH CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE THREE OF THEM I LOVE THEM SM
Exactly what I was going to say!! Atlus really had to pull an Atlus huh 😔
Shoutout to the anime scene with him thinking about kissing Yu and commenting how he’s mentally gone somewhere he won’t be able to come back from.
Honestly i just wish the guys were all romancable options
Zutara one was literally just "They're cool together, they should have been the canon shit"

“Babygirl” sold it for me
Ryan and Chad from hsm
I just want see Ryan date or try to date the whole cast, (minus his sister, obviously).
They wore each other’s clothes! I would have paid money for Ryan’s series canon gayness to be revealed by his husband Chad showing up
I want to say Wednesday and Enid, though more in a QPR way, I guess.
It honestly makes sense for Wednesday to be aroace.
Also, hi, I'm aroace too
I support wenclair or Wednesday being aroace and nothing else 😂 there is no way either of them are straight and interested in the most boring boys ever
I agree, I feel like Wednesday should have been aro/ace because that feels the most fitting with her character, but if she got with anyone it DEFINITELY should have been Enid. Her having some random male love interest was like a slap in the face.
Considering the show got rid of Xavier due to his actor and Tyler becoming a villian, you might get your wish.
If Link and Zelda aren't supposed to be falling in love repeatedly across several lifetimes, it would be news to me.

I say its dependent on the game tbh, but that's because I'm someone who thinks that platonic love is underestimated in fiction.
The examples in this video are probably the most canon the ship has ever been though lol
@@princeapoopoo5787 Completely agree. It does depend, and totally platonic friendship is definitely under appreciated.
i'm glad there were people who said that no ships is better or that yearning and pining is more fun anyway. all the excitement seems to just leave my body as soon as characters get together. pretty much always it feels like something is missing. every time characters get together it feels like there's should've been more.
with most of these (or those i'm familiar with at least) i feel like nothing would improve about the characters or the stories. the only positive change would be people who care about the ship getting what they wanted. i want the vagueness, i want these people to coexist in a way that suits them without having to explain it. there's a ship or two that "just care for each other" in my eyes and no words could describe their relationship better. the ambiguity makes space for the kinds of love that don't get represented as much because romance always gets prioritized for some reason. you get to interpret it in a way that brings you the most peace.
i have to say: i want more queer representation because people need it. i'm also tired of having romance shoved in my face.
if you're still reading, regarding some of the ships mentioned: i seem to dislike things quite strongly. when i say i don't like bakudeku, i mean it. they never made sense to me. not a single thing people say in support of them is romantic to me (nothing ever is). they're not in love, they simply have known each other for a long-ass time because it's a thing that happens. they lived close by and went to the same school for their own reasons. they're bound to interact a lot since they're in the same spaces all the time. and whatever romantic attraction is, seeing them mend their relationship and stand together on less painful ground means more to me than any romance ever could. they don't need to kiss, they need to talk. a lot. and then some more.
as for zutara, i have no strong feelings of any kind. but boy, do i hate kataang. three seasons of her not even considering him just to make them kiss in the end. in what world does that look earned? and why pair anyone up at all? the war most of them grew up in is finally over, they can have their childhoods now. and while i do love sokka and suki, i probably wouldn't root for them if they weren't already canon.
anyway, sorry for a novel-length cry for help. if anyone here feels like something's off and doesn't know what to do about it, i can't do anything about it either but know you're not alone.
Naruto and sasuke… that last scene was 3 words away from a perfect love confession that absolutely makes sense and pulls the whole story together

Then it would be extra bonded
POLY!!!! I mean it could work well
i agree. but personally i don't feel anything for vaggie/charlie and i've seen a lot of ppl say that too. i think the ending of s1 was interesting but before that they were just boring, but ig that's the established relationship curse - making people care.

I should have expected that by now but i wanted to have faith for once, oh well

YES, OMFG
I'm no longer in the MHA fandom, but THIS IS SO REAL OMFG
Considering all the drama that went down with the Cassandra being Gothel's biological daughter thing, I don't think it would have worked out.
You know I am completely against “strong independent woman” as “lesbian vibes”
I know that’s incredibly generic, but you know the type!
I agree with this one 100 percent honestly. I know that the waters get muddy later in the show but to me them getting together would have still been great.
makes you wonder if the whole Cassandra being Gothel's biological daughter thing was so people would stop shipping them
@@ackkenan2346 my brother saw the resemblance right away
Any examples?
@@andjelabozic2317 first of all people will ship regardless, second, authors have always seemed to be more comfortable writing friendships between two same gendered characters over two characters of different genders. leading to a better dynamic and more interesting ship
and you only mention same gender ships but uh, this phenomenon is actually a lot more common with pairs of m/f it just not seen as much in actual shipping but like everywhere else in society, one stand out i can think of is parents looking a two toddlers that are both children and one is a boy and the other and a girl and then one parent goes "aw its like there dating" which is just gross, let them be kids, its interesting that inside shipping fandom youll see people go for queer ships more mainly due to lack of representation, and when you dont have good rep, you make your own through interpretations of other people's work.
oop sorry i ranted, have a nice day
todd and neil from dead poets society. it just would’ve made the death scene even more tragic and would explain even more why todd was even more upset than charlie who had known neil for longer.
while I agree, I think it makes it more allegorical for those young mlm teens if it does go unsaid. even if it does okay onto the "we're not allowed to be gay" thing that a lot of these shows/movies have going on. but they *weren't* allowed to, Neil especially with his father and we can assume the same with Todd's parents. it does make sense, but the metaphors and hints make it better for queer teens to watch in solidarity.
Absolutely!!!!
I prefer ships that seem canon but are not, so the fanfics are a lot better than the actual original material with said ship
I completely agree. It's more fun for me that way ironically

Twilight should’ve ended with a Bella, Edward, & Jacob all getting together
Society isn't ready for poly rep. People thinks is about cucks and sexual diseases

FOR REALLL
Getting rid of the sylvie romance is fine but a romance with mobius is terrible. His whole character is that hes a smug foil to Loki who eventually helps him out, a romance just changes the entire story and character of mobius.
pearlina save me... pearlina... save me pearlina...
I second Lokius, it just makes so much sense. Especially for season 2 episode 5 like come ON
Personally for Victorious, I would've loved it if Andre and Tori got together. I know their dynamic was strictly supportive platonic, but they had the CHEMISTRY.
Hard agree
Yes! Chemistry is so important to show a convincing relationship
I actually think Andre and Jade would've been better. He even had a strong crush on her at one point. I think Jade would've accepted to date him if he was straightforward. I personally see Andre and Tori as just close friends.
FR like people say Jade and Tori are better and i'm like...no they're not (to me at least)
SatoSugu. If Gojo and Geto were lovers, it would make their whole story so much more tragic and impactful.
I mean, is there anything that explicitly says they weren't? It's not canon but there is nothing that comes to my mind saying they weren't.
@@tomb.524all the little hints that point to their relationship being romantic over platonic is my roman empire.
I don't think being a couple would make what happened more impactful. They are already close enough for it to be tragic.
@@renoirrrI disagree.

Willow x Amity sounds really clunky and wouldn't work imo
i like willow/luz maybe willow x amity x luz because why not
So... funny story...
Especially because Willow x hunter makes more sense (at least in my opinion)
