CPKC EMD Switching Action

A royal mash-up of EMD power switching today for CPKC in Thief River Falls.
Two SD60Fs from Northern Plains Railroad join a CPKC SD60-3 and two GP30ECOs to push a large cut of cars into the yard. Not the greatest video as I’m walking to the crossing but enjoy the noise and smoke show.

A former ex Soo SD 60-3 . .Wondering if it was Soo 6002 .Soo line bought 59 of them back in 1985. Went to the Apple red color in 1986. Half of them SD 60 locomotives had the Apple red white slanted Soo logo. I liked the white and red black SOO logo better, Has been 30 years ago Since Soo line went bankrupt. CP Rial bought back the Soo line. Sand blasted, Repaint the locos to red with CANADIAN PACIFIC , 6000 Aderses 6200 up to 6200. 6300 address on the EMDs
