You sewed 75+ garments and had at least that many hairstyles in 2022. I am amazed! 😅 well done 💪

I love that you make so many big 4 patterns and not just indies! This amount of production is prolific. I like that you definitely have your own unique perspective and style.
Thanks so much! Big 4 is my jam especially because where I love they are so accessible to me. That’s also my kryptonite because that pattern collection is taking on a life of its own 😆😆

The pinky Corduroy dress is very cute. But the dress after is my favourite. Of course the last dress is absolutely gorgeous!

Regarding the gray dress that is too tight in the middle. Add a diamond shaped gusset from pit to mid hip. If you are out of fabric, black would look amazing also.

At the tender age of 45 I just bought a sewing machine and am learning (via YT and my mom) how to sew. You have some amazing pieces here. Id love to be able to be this creative one day. For now, just sewing handkerchiefs. 😂

Thanks! I think I’m addicted to pattern hacking LOL. And I can get pretty hung up on it. This year, I’m going to try to explore more patterns instead of revisiting the same pattern 3x’s over 🤞🏾

this is so inspiring. i've been getting back into sewing the last couple years and i'll actually start a sewing degree in september! i also have the project to make a quilt pillow/blanket (depends how many things i make this year) with all the fabrics i use this year. this inspires me so much to make more clothes to actually wear :))

Hey there! it’s been two years now since I’ve started making my own clothes! It was really RUclips University lol and lots of trail by fire! The cosplay community on YT are really good about doing in depth videos about their construction processes which helps a lot. I also like to buy old out of print sewing books (usually pretty cheap) on sewing (Nancy Zieman books are timeless!) those helped a lot with quick fitting and self drafting 😊

Hey there Julianna, just discovered your channel and was sure to follow on IG. You had a GREAT sewing year! I'm the same lots of prints that don't necessarily go together. I don't have prints I can mix together 😆. Definitely this year I'll be diving into more techniques and mixing textiles.
