Hi folks, here is part 13 of my EXTREME PLAYTHROUGH of Days Gone. I hope you all enjoy the video.
You would think an hour+ vid would be long enough but it isn’t. Every time it ends I’m all disappointed & shit. 😂😂 Good job as always. “Bunny boiler” omg!! That cracked me up. Can’t wait for the next one.
Lol, thank you TW. I love Addy's character in this game, but she appears to be high maintenance for a relationship. I'm choosing my words a bit kinder than what I did in this video, lol.

One of the best missions in the game, imo. Rikki is such a great character❤ Brilliant voice acting too.
I agree my friend. The voice acting for this game is some of the best I've ever experienced.
I love the Rikki mission at the hydroelectric plant. It really shows their mutual respect for each other and Rikki is shamelessly flirting with Deacon at a few points. The Sherman Camp mission with Iron Mike is a little tricky without a rifle. That sniper by the exit used to give me so many problems, not to mention the horde on the path out that you avoided. A few times I have taken out the marauders battling the freakers in that section just to draw the freakers in... and it is a lot of them. Great gameplay as always Borislav!

I'm helping Rikki now in my NG+ H2 playthrough. The people that made this game did such an amazing job on making a lot of it look realistic. Every playthrough tho I can't help thinking that a lot of the time when Rikki is talking she looks like one of those animatronic robots at that pizza place in the 80s/90s - that may have just been a thing in the US, idk. Or perhaps a ventriloquist's dummy. Her eyes & mouth just don't quite match up with her words 😁
LMAO L8D. I was thinking this also but just thought I was losing the plot with overwatching, but I'm clearly not now, lol.
One hour already , where did the time go ? The storyline and the missions are really captivating and keep me wanting more. I believe you deserve a sharpshooter medal for all of those headshots you landed. Smart decisions and great shooting are balancing out your lack of good weapons and perks. If I tried an extreme playthrough I know I would have died sometime during the opening credits lol. Another mission with Rikki coming up and Lost Lake gets their power back . Yipee ! Amazing episode !!!!
As always my friend, you are very kind with your comments. I've genuinely enjoyed this playthrough so far, and I know some tough missions are ahead that I have concerns about, given what little I have, but it's going to be fun attempting them for sure. Thank you for watching FM.

Indeed Ian, and is now an essential method for me, as the 9mm is frickin useless. I honestly think some of these bike missions would be close to impossible without using this method, lol.
Great tip to go high so as not to get caught by the horde. In my plays I've waited for the last one to go past before following Mike.

Great video, I remember the Nero mission at the garage, the westfir horde rocked up as I was leaving, almost drove into them on the highway, you're lucky they were late to dinner.
Your skill with the saf12 was second to none at the dam, the triple head shots at the end were class in a glass.

You can say what you want, but this game had some fine characters here. Not just Iron Mike or Addy or Manny - but even low lifes like Skizzo are credible here. I really like how BEND Studios did the characters.

That's what I thought too. They picked the PERFECT voice and character actor for Skizzo. Just looking at him, he just sounds like someone with the name 'Skizzo' would look and sound.. 😆

That O'Brien mission at the gas station, I went around using the wall, too, but I went to the back of the building and climbed the ladder to the roof, then listened to the first part of the conversation through the hole in the ceiling, then when they moved on to the big truck, I just followed along with them from the rooftop and listened from the open window. Not even close to being seen.
Great minds think alike MZ, as I've been working on all these Nero Stealth missions, and that's exactly how I show this being done on my upcoming video (later this year). Like you say, it's super safe as you don't need to worry about any of the nero soldiers spotting you from up there.
@@borislav247 That's true. I did this without clearing the nests in there one time, and thought, "OH shit" I'm gonna be blocked from that window, but I wasn't and it was all good. 😆

Plant tracker then trot In front of the chopper and into the window and crouch. Then out the window and follow to the dumpster to listen. Then back to the bike. Works every time for me.

Thanks Boris another great video! Ride north with Rikki is one of my favorite missions. I'm working on my 3rd platinum trophy for days gone I even started posting some video of my own on here. Going to post a couple of playthroughs in the not to distant future would like a few more subscribers before I do. Only have 9 🙂

Saw a video a while ago where the guy went and set up a shit load of bombs and mines along that road where you follow the horde with Mike. He started the mission and detonated them as the horde was over them while staying hidden in the bushes. I’m not sure if it affects the horde numbers in game but he did show himself walking along the road getting all the extra ears.
That's an interesting one mate, and I would imagine very doable, as the mission is FLOW LIKE BURIED RIVERS. Once that mission appears on the map, you could potentially go over and set up a crazy amount of explosives, then go to Iron Mike's cabin to start the mission. I need to try this. I have to admit, I was sweating a bit when Borislav had to return to the Rogue Camp petrol station. I was sure that the Westfir Horde would be there. And the roof of the gas station is not a safe place from them, as I know from experience.

When you have to listen to the scientist at the gas station, you can use the second floor window facing the last area. It’s about a pixel within the circle.

I hate the bug sneaking up past horde grr lol Mike can set of the horde the horde can hear Mike omg I've ad bare dramas today on dg bro we're near abouts at same point in game. The horde was misbehaving lol (on todats vid of mine) Mike settin em off and hearing him talking was getting spotted when I was quiet sneaking up I thought game broke lol. This part can be rage inducing when it goes wrong hehe
You're not wrong M, this mission can be frustrating as hell when it goes wrong.
During my NG+ playthrough the Sherman's camp(?) horde kept showing up during this mission, it was crazy! I wasn't able to keep Mike alive until a run when the horde showed up too late 😁
Wow, they shouldn't appear until much later. Sounds like the game glitched on you.
@@borislav247 I wasn't even able to complete the mission, let alone defeat the horde, so never got to see the horde name. Could it hv been a different horde...? Wouldn't surprise me if it was a glitch 😁

On that Nero mission, as another option, you can actually stay close enough from within the building if you hug the wall.

@@borislav247 Yep, and the dumpster near the trailer makes an ideal hiding spot to finish the Nero mission.
@29:00 again, you sir are making that part needlessly difficult. I always just take the steps up to the rooftop and stay there during the whole conversation. I then run away from the gas station afterwards and no one ever saw me.

I have briefly attempted a high route for this, but I clearly wasn't in the right spot the time I tried it as I had issues. Will have all this checked out in a bigger way when my standalone video for this Nero Stealth mission is released. I'm working on all of them as I speak, but I haven't got to this one yet. Appreciate the info on this Paul.
@@borislav247 Personally, I just jump in the window right by the Nero researcher. When she walks outside, you can simply follow them (crouch-walking) once they get a few steps ahead. I then dive into the dumpster. Works like a charm.

That long mission with Rikki is one of my favorites. Yes there is a lot of dialogue but there’s plenty of action too and we learn a lot about both characters. A DG sequel will likely never happen but I thought it would be cool to see Rikkis brothers or father resurface, maybe even as bad guys
You never know mate, one day we might get a sequel, but it won't be for a long time yet.

Hey Boris in your opinion what was the hardest challenge for you to gold or do well in?
I would have to say Surrounded. It was a challenge where I had to learn a lot, before I became good at it. The running up of the multiplier on that bad boy is tough until you have better knowledge of escape routes in Sherman's Camp and also a better idea of where everything is (weapons & ammo wise).
I wonder if it's worth you bothering with taking out hordes? You won't be able to use any of the rewards so is it worth it? That's not to say I wouldn't like to see it done 😃
Honestly, the only advantage I can take from them, is the freaker ears, as they will help me get the best upgrades for the bike far quicker once I reach the South.
He would still get trust and camp credits, so even without the Horde Killer weapon unlocks, it is worth doing.

@@TheParad0xical Absolutely. A few of the easy kill locations require lots of ammo, so Borislav might wait until he has a second saddlebag.
