Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game set in a harsh wilderness two years after a devastating global disaster.
Step into the dirt flecked shoes of former outlaw biker Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter trying to find a reason to live in a land surrounded by death. Scavenge through abandoned settlements for equipment to craft valuable items and weapons, or take your chances with other survivors trying to eke out a living through fair trade… or other means.
This is one of the best series I’ve watched on any platform in ages. Thank you so much for this I love it.

The creator talked about this game recently. Was going to be 3 games, and the hordes were goin to get smarter, more civilised, and able to use weapons. I still cant believe it got cancelled. Really is one of the best story and charactor driven game.
On some like planet of the apes type stuff? Maaan i would've loved to see that, ngl... But i genuinely love this as is. TLOU got a sequel that so many people hyped up, and i personally HATED it. Such is the chance you take with sequels and series building tho, i suppose 🤷
@@jayvee1387movie sequels are usually let downs games get it right 50 percent of the time. I Don't think they could have done bad with a sequel to this it'd be hard to mess up. Hordes with weapons would have been bad imo but just stronger and smarter hordes would have been nice

The secret ending set up the perfect start to the 2nd game. To bad this game didnt get the attention it deserved when it was released. Otherwise we probably would have gotten at least a 2nd half

It years later i fell in love and thought how did I missed such an amazing game.
This is the only content creator that can make 2 to 3 hour long videos on a single game series and all of us can enjoy

I think many of us could have gone out of our way to just watch a "gameplay movie" of this game, but watching you play and enjoy this game, and having us along for the ride made this series just so much better. It's content creators like you that make RUclips worth it.

I rarely comment on videos, but Fooster, you are amazing! I discovered you a while back and have been watching all of your content ever since. I enjoy your solo games, I love your chemistry with Fisk and the other guys. This series is just perfection. I cannot express how good it is. When I was in school I could not wait to get home and play my favorite games, I even used to sprint home after class. I rediscovered that feeling with this series. I couldn't wait to get home from work and see what was next.

Yep, when I thought Boozer was killed, I felt like I was punched in the throat. You know that lump that you get in your throat that hurts when you are just gutted? Yeah, I literally started crying. THEN, I started bawling when I saw he was ok. I have never watched or played a game that has hit me in the feels like this one! Now I know no one will probably even see this post but I just felt like I needed to say the following:
*To Fooster,* I don't know if you'll see this but thank you. Thank you so much for trusting us enough and uploading these longer videos. I hope you continue to do so and even upload yourself doing exploration of the map and side missions.
*To Fooster's fans,* thank you for supporting him and letting him know you love his longer videos. I don't think I could have handled these videos if they were only 1 hour long lol. Cutting the video's down to an hour would not have done the game justice, imo.
*To the DEV's,* please please please make a Days Gone 2 (and 3 hehe). This game is unlike anything I have ever seen or played. It was beautifully written and the graphics were stunning, especially for a game this old. You guys did everything right in Days Gone. Unlike other's, I for one would LOVE to see a continuation of all of the main characters (including Weaver's) storyline. I would love it if Deek and Sarah had a baby and how that would be so different than just protecting each other. Even giving birth in that world would be so difficult.

They already did that got like 300k signatures and raised a fuck ton of money and the creators are STILL like "nah we're just gonna keep working on this other ipo screw you guys" so when they release another game I'm not playing it or supporting it at all. They don't listen to their fans and that's bad business. It deserves to flop.

Most of them never even played the game from start to finish as some admitted and their complaints were centered around some real bullshit perspectives. The gaming fans need to stop listening to game "critics" the same way we ignore movie and TV and music "critics" for the last thirty plus years cause they were critical for the sake of being critical to keep a job. Dev's need to do what dev's back in the late 90's to the late 2000's did and worry about what the fans wanted and enjoyed not what BS critics said or thought or worry about awards that are given on critic scores and not sales or gamer feedback and votes.

Something I really wanna say, as it's what I've noticed and really appreciated, I love how interactive you are with us as the audience and putting in love with the editing job, like voice effects of a scene or staying quiet for a detailed cut scene. I really enjoy it, it makes your longer play throughs really enjoyable!!

You're doing a perfect job with these long plays, I don't mind the "no commentary" but with some people I enjoy hearing the player talk about their experience and how they are enjoying it. But a lot of them are over the top with stuff and it can take you out. You got the perfect balance there mate and I hope you do it with more games.
I have played/finished this game twice... so why do I love watching these videos? It's your excitement!. Your attitude! Its infectious, watching your videos is like sitting in a room full of friends and we all joking about what's on screen... Don't change a thing fooster... you will do great!

That was absolutely amazing. Nobody and I mean nobody tells a story like Fooster. Even though it was somebody else's story, the way you interacted with all the characters, making yourself interact as a friend to deacon instead of actually being deacon just kept me immersed the entire time which made me care about each and every individual situation as if it was something that was happening around me instead of just on a TV screen. Fooster, I CANNOT WAIT for your next story!!! I would like to recommend FarCry 5. I'm sure you've already played it but I would be ecstatic if you were to play it again and take us along for the ride, retelling the story as only you can do.
Fooster can make you enjoy at maximum even the worst possible game:)))))

Gutted that this series has come to an end, just for my personal preference, I personally loved the longer videos. Your way of playing and the way you let the game play and react in between is what makes you the best in the business for this stuff. Look forward to the next series!

What a masterpiece! No idea how I found the first video and never played the game - but ive been glued to the screen for the last few days, watching it like it was one hell of a movie!

Damn, it is over way too soon. Somehow i never had this game on my list, but i am so glad you played it. This game really deserved more attention. The Story, the characters, the voice actors. All of them did a freaking good job here. And you Fooster playing it, man gives us the vibe we all sitting on the couch somewhat playing it together. Hope this will not be the last game played in such long episodes. Loved every minute of it, please please keep doing series like this one

Glad to see this game getting more and more recognition. I bought this on ps4 on release and fell in love with it, never understood the criticism. Just as you said, it captured my heart and everything is memorable about it. The team that made this really should see how much of a positive impact this has had.
Dude, your playthroughs are superb. One thing I noticed is that you immerse into the game to levels I have never seen any other YT creator do. It reminds me of how I used get immersed in my favorite computer games 20 years ago when I was a kid. I would come up with my little head cannons for parts that were not implemented in game, would always try to reunite characters even if game offered no scripted content for that. Sadly, I've lost that, but watching you has brought up those old memories.

Its been sooo long since I've watched someone play a story driven game, and even though I've completed the game way back, I really enjoyed watching you play. I see a lot of youtubers play games but the way you did this is just TOP NOTCH.
Yes the game is great and one of the best story driven games. But I LOVED HOW YOU PLAYED IT. LOVED HOW U ACTUALLY CARED FOR THE STORY. I loved how u would just stop just to not interrupt a dialogue, or how u just listened to the dialogues. Just like how great the game is, your delivery to us was as great.
Now I wanna see you play more story driven games.

This was THE best gaming and commentary I have ever seen. Thank you so much for putting out these recent videos, I have loved every single second. It feels like, we rode together, fought together and cried together. Especially when we found Sarah, got little Jack and when Boozer came back from the death. What emotional moments, journey and experience. It will be very hard to find something comparable to enjoy now.

This game was so good. I was so surprised i never heard of it before considering this is exactly the type of game im into. I cant begin to describe on what kind of emotional rollercoaster this game took me and how much i started appreciating the characters. The story was amazing, the scenery was beautiful, the personalities of everyone felt real. It's really sad to hear that the continuation was cancelled, i hope this somehow get's through to the creators and they somehow manage to make the other games. This story has to be continued. Thank you for showing it to so many people!

I first heard about Days Gone in 2016 when they released a gameplay video/trailer with Deacon taking on the Sawmill horde, it looked absolutely amazing and i couldn’t wait to be playing the game. Fast forward 3 years and multiple delays and push backs later and it came out I’d preordered it so got to play it straight away.
The game had its issues but it was a game I just loved playing and enjoyed it so much.
Your series has been amazing to watch you’ve got a really good nack for making it feel immersive.

I loved watching you play this game. This game was amazing: the graphics the storyline, all the side missions, the characters…everything was great. The sunsets and the rain, the puppy ❤. Fooster you kept the game play real and gave the game the respect that it deserves. With that being said, I can’t bring myself to watch this last video. I don’t want to know how it ends. I will watch it though. It’s like reading the third book in a trilogy.
