- First u need to have virtual keyboard or wire keyboard to do it
Then go to start menu type (regedit) click it
After that go to HKEY_LOCALE_MACHINE file
Then Click System, Currentcontrolset, Control, class
Then search data name keyboard and click upperfilter
if there other word from kbdclass you must delete it and ok
after that reboot your pc :)

You saved me time and effort trying to fix my laptop. I have a Dell 3558 (Inspiron 15 3000 Series). I had to replace a malfunctioning DIMM chip (Note: NOT a RAM upgrade, just an 8gb replacement) and the keyboard did not work upon reboot. Your method shown here fixed the Windows Code 19 error --- perfectly!!! Thank You Very Much!!!!!
What about the backspace key? Mine is deleting only one character even if I long press.

bro you know what i got new laptop just 2 week ago via lots of request and begging.. i was given warning that i will have to take care of this at least for 2 years and if i get any problem i will have to handle it personally. i am 1500km away from my home right now. my keyboard stopped working and i was too much afraid.. i have warranty period on so i asked customer care for this, he said i will have to reinstall win10, my all study material is in this and no device to back up so i was so much tensed.. i watch around 10 videos and tried to update and reinstall driver more than 15 times but finally you helped me.. you can just imagine excitement of getting keyboard back from length of this comment. anyway.. you deserve 10 subscribers from my 10 accounts.... thanks a lot bro

I'm in shock. This fixed the keyboard, trackpoint, and trackpad on my Lenovo T450. I think it was a bad VMWare uninstall.

Only one caveat. I itemized your procedure into 12 separate 'steps' and was unable to be successful 'on the fly" BUT.....if you reboot right after closing the regestry editor, the system was able to find the correct driver. Thanks a bunch!!

One correction : After making registry changes if keyboard drivers are already installed ,uninstall them and restart the PC and automatically it will scan for hardware changes and install new keyboard driver and then it will work 100%

i have a problem with aveocap(camera)
when i try to open the aveocap it show error"you have no video capture device"
and when i try to update camera driver it shows "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) in dell window 10"
so how do i fix it?

I lost the use of my laptop keyboard, mousepad and wireless mouse after some updates.
Managed to get it fixed using a bluetooth keyboard on Windows 10 with these video instructions.
