    I have a sunbird I'm wanting to do the same conversion to. I had thought about building a pod but this seems much easier and cheaper lol.

    What size of the transom the height, and what motor u gonna mount
    Im working on same boat and im going to cut my transom
    Im going to use twin short shaft Johnsons

      Hight and size varies, depending on size of boat and motor. I had it engineered.

      I know im planing to mount twin short shaft motors
      Thats why im asking about ur transom hight bcoz when i measured it looks scary short
      But im thinking since hull is simi V maybe i can cit 20" transom and mount two short(15") shaft motors separated where that transome hight reduce lil bit
      Thays why im asking u about ur transom cut hight

      Its measured 16' 4.90m from outer transom to the boat end
      I worked on recommended dimensions table provided by usa transom specifications chart
      I did add splashwell
      Hope it's do ok will test is in jext afew days 🤞

      So u dont know how is ur transom height in centerline?
