Huyu jamaa anamwambia Salma akaze moyo, ameitwa safari ya kiofisi, anaenda atarudi.

Actually come to think of it, the music we listen to somehow influences us. I started listening to TPOK jazz in 1985 when I was in class three, at that time just appreciating the beats. This continued until 1989 when I was in class 7. Franco died later that year. Then I met Gordon Onyango Hongo, an ardent fan of TPOK jazz. The gentleman's way of life was just great. Franco's music every evening was his signature. The guy mourned Franco for such a long time, rejecting all rumours suggesting that Otoyo died of SIDA. I have since then been an ardent of TPOK jazz fan. Nothing has been able to replace this group's work, even Bana Ok couldn't. My favourite include this piece playing, locataire, princes kikou, faute ya commerçant, among many more that would definitely be impossible to list here.

He is a great composer; in fact, he did write the song, Musa, in Afriza with Tabou Ley!The song was a big hit at Olympia concert ( in Paris, France).

Composed some 50 years ago when computer were a leg of a snake. So soothing and melodious this piece of music. Meanwhile, the music produced in later years (1990s to 2000s) stand no chance to be listened to.

@koyoko2003 Michelino is the guitarist to the right of Franco in this video. Best seen from .30-45 seconds into the video, with the biggest Afro. Enjoy
