- Video of a track popularly known as "Munsi", composed by singer Ntesa Dalienst. Here it is performed with singers Wuta Mayi, Lola Chécain and Madilu System accompanying Ntesa, and Franco himself on guitar. Recorded during a concert in Abidjan, Côte D'Ivoire, in 1980.

Berna ma . African music the best. Franco and team I love you
This reminds me my parents...
Muzi... These guys might have shaken the world at their time...
Thanks for this memory
That was Dalienst netsa shining like the morning star . What liked in TPOK is that Franco would give everyone a chance to compose and sing . That way made the Band grow to become the most famous those days. Rest in peace Franco.
Absolutely right. The 1970s and the 1980s are the best decades for rumba music.
The song reminds me my 80's i was young in Bukavu and my father was playing this song over and over...this is for you papa
One of the few songs to come out live exactly as recorded
few? do you mean franco did some floppy lives?
Souvenir souvenir la belle époque j 'avais bien dansé merci franco ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Like how Franco was allowing other members of his band to shine He was a nice guy
I think it was a band policy that all members must at least compose something to include whenever an album was released.. Explains why even post Franco they excelled.. The Grand Master Himself.. RIP..!
that is what its called a leadership man

A practical comparison....jiggers and love!!...Kenya
Just seeing a youthful "Madilu system" in live performance simply gives me goosebumps.
It feels good
Also Lola checain,, mpudi Decca, Ntesa Dalienst
Merci pona nzembo kitoko makasi.
Ooh i love it,those are days when life was pretty.
Oh OK jazz. I see Gege on rhythm, Gerry on solo and Luambo on mi-solo. With Wuta and Madilu on backing, Dalienst shines like a diamond.
I couldn't have put it better.
And Lola Checain in the far left hand side of Dalienst.
Ntesa was a talented musician.
Lawrence's love listening this music from Dsm Tz

So great a music so dynamic and very systematically set the African rhumba playable and enjoyable than anything being sang in the ears thanks Franco on Muzi
How come that some legends were not featuring in this song. Legends like Simaro litumba massiya, Pepe opetum, josky ,kimuangana, etc .
When I listen to this music of luambo makiadi i remember my teenage
School days munzi never missed to play during entertainment weekend.
Ya ntesa chanteur de charme
One of the greatest hits of this blessed group.
Ma chanson préférée de mon père lorsque j’étais petite 😭😭😭😭😭
I wonder what growing up mean to our kids today.? Back in the 80s was full of life and enjoyment . I can watch this all day all night .

Lovely song
Great stuff.wuta mayi has kept his dancing style to date.he is old now
I feel like a teenager again. Omg, this was one of the best hits by TPOK. I had the privilege of seeing TPOK in the early 80s when they came to Makerere University, Uganda. RIP The great ones, Franco Madilu etc.

Days when life was really good and nice with TPOK JAZZ . You couldn't afford to miss a session or a date with TPOK JAZZ on the floor. R.I.E.P guys.

I attended his concert once but I was very young at the time
Nostalgic .
Bons souvenirs
Le grant Franco training these young men,by then madilu was young .
See young Madilu System. Franco was a good leader
Ntesa recruited Madilu to TPOK
I've always thought the title to Muzi, by Nguashi Ntimbo in his stint at OK Jazz
la vache ! ça c'est de l'archive ...Fantastique

Indeed 😊
During my good days in 1982 at silver spring jege jege in Kampala Uganda

La belle époque avec grand maître
J AVAIS 15 ANS , TOUT LE MONDE DANS LE QUARTIER L AVAIT ECRITE SUR UN BOUT DE PAPIER
Ntesa Dalienst ya Zitani delivering this ballad is very well controlled and then joined by Wuta Mayi Gaspard, Makiese Madilu Systeme and Lola Checain Djangi on the vocals. Just outstanding! Is that Patos Mwana Djili on the drums?
Franco of course on the lead and Gerry Dialungana next to him. Liyanzi Ekoti Ngai... Mouziii, ehhh...
Gerry is on lead guitar and Franco playing rythm guitar this time amazing. I wonder who is playing bass that's not Decca and who's on mi-solo guitar?
Which one is Musekiwa there, the saxonist?
@@Sam11154 Isaac Musekiwa is on the extreme left.
I remember Nick Malago Jnr.(RIP)
I wonder I they could give such brilliant at performance with no trainer vocalists, music directors Haassss. Great.. great ....great
