"One must destroy, in order to create" Music: Really Slow Motion & Giant Apes - Gauntlet (Epic Powerful Dark Orchestral) Tags: #starwars #baylanskoll #ahsoka
I was really hoping for his arc to have been finished. Ray Stevenson really deserved to have that memorable emotional scene. Sadly nobody could foresee his passing.
This arc was never going to be finished in S1. Ahsoka S1 wasn’t about telling a complete story. It’s about setting the next wave of the Mandoverse with Phase II. Having Baylans story be complete in a 8 episode season, ESPECIALLY focusing on the Mortis Gods would’ve been disappointing.
ray Stephenson is probably the biggest loss to the star wars franchise in the sense that he had a great arc ahead of him that he will not get to finish. We lost Carrie of course but her story was very much told. Such a different breed of character like a medieval Knight that offered a significantly more balanced perspective of the fight between the light and the dark side of the force. I hope that his story can be continued somehow with the nuance he brought to it, best of luck Dave Filoni
Baylan (a man who's clearly between 50 and 60) talking to Shin (who can't be more than 25): "When I was a bit older than you are now, I watched everything I knew burn." Meanwhile Bo-Katan: looks exactly the same as she did at the end of the Clone Wars 28 years later.
@@assaultgaming6614 maybe mandalorian nobility lives slightly longer? Or stays youthful and combat-ready for longer? Canderous did hint at his people being physically different from baseline humans in kotor. I doubt that 4000 years is so long for a fantasy world for that kind of blood to die out among a species' most powerful people? Perhaps that's what Pre Visla was trying to prevent?
I hope they find a way to keep his character around. I feel like Baylon is a representation of the fan community wanting something new and exciting out of Star wars. His goal is to get something beyond just the squabbling of the empire and the republic or the Jedi and Sith. Also played right into the people that hate the sequel trilogy and you could have it be the end of the repetition and have Baylon be responsible for altering it or something.
The first thing I ever saw Ray Stevenson in was King Arthur (2004), and I loved his character. Since then, I've seen him here and there in other films/shows, including his role as Titus Pullo in Rome (HBO) and generally enjoyed his presence and performance. When I first saw set photos of him dressed as some sort of fallen Jedi, I was excited, I thought he would bring something really great to Star Wars. And he did, he brought back that feeling of mystery and wonder that, for me, Star Wars has been missing for a long time. Every single episode of Ahsoka, I almost didn't care what anyone else was doing, I just wanted more Baylan Skoll. And now, Ray Stevenson has become one with the Force. Rest in peace, Mr. Stevenson. The Force will be with you, always.
Bro came to Star Wars and slapped!🔥 Then he unfortunately passes away after 😢 R.I.P similar to Heath Ledger Joker who passes away before he gets to see his legacy
I hope we get a tales of the Jedi or something to get Baylan’s back story. I’m moved to tears thinking how Ray never got to be embraced by the fandom for his portrayal of this character.
I'd say Darth Maul or Count Dooku level. Difference being since Baylan is still part Jedi, he see things much more clearly. Where Maul and Dooku are more lightsaber based, Baylan seems to have a deeper connection to the force.

I wished Stevenson would have been alive to see what a legend he has become in the Starwars community.
Also great edit work Phoenix Studios 👍🏻
He's "one with the Force" now, HE KNOWS.

Some people age like fine wine Bo-Katan is one of those people

@@aylix2137 or maybe some people just have good genetics when it comes to aging and that's really all there is to it.
The dark side corrupts.
Also, the beard makes him look older.
Mandalorian no raisin.
May the force be with his soul.

Titus Pullo in space was more than I could have ever hoped for. RIP Ray Stevenson.
It hurts to know that we will never more of him anymore...
Disney will for sure Recast him , but no one will ever be the Baylon we know and love 😭
Gray Jedi at his finest...
I rly will miss that. :[

My kind of master
Excellent video of this great character and amazing actor, rip Ray.
BAR NONE Disney SW's best character.
I personally preferred the animated series but I wasn't expecting it to be this good
Love this character so much!! Great edit!
RIP Ray Stevenson. You will be forever missed.

Skoll's Arc was to release Abeloth to end the cycle.
how do you get the clips???
Looks like he's power close to Vaider's
I wouldn't say so. Maybe on the next rung or two down though if Ahsoka herself admitted she might not be able to defeat him.

Not possible - Anakin Skywalker was clearly stated to have the highest midichlorian count in the Jedi database.
THIRTEEN!
Goodbye
worst cast for ahsoka
