Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that this man's first words in the video wasn't "WOAH CHECK OUT ALL GOLD! I'D LIVE LIKE A KING WITH THIS!" It was along the lines of "It's a shame we can't use this vast quantity of an interesting element for scientific purposes." ......A true scientist. Well done.

I love gold man. My great grandpa was a runaway boy from a prestigious nobel family in Portugal. He had this gold necklace around his neck with his enitials on it for his entire life, which now a family heirloom passed down to the oldest son of every generation. First son, first grandson etc. I so happened to be the inheritor of the necklace and it is now the most precious thing I own. Gold is a wondrous material... So beautiful and so valuable. One of my goals in life is to have my family crest inbeded in a signat ring, to make a new heirloom for my future family to remember me by.

I don't think an earthquake will do much to a vault that strong. As long as you stay away from the falling shelves and blocks of gold, you will be quite safe!! And considering the value of the gold in there, you will be rescued pretty soon when the authorities come by to have a check to make sure the gold is safe.
