I wonder if the hint was also in Negan keep telling Brandon it was going to become a lot more dangerous...eg he was going to cross the border.

Hi guys! I LOVED this episode.. definitely my favourite of the season so far. I feel like I have been waiting for Beta and Negan to meet for forever!!! I cannot wait! Also...the wanna be Negan kid... no looking at the flowers for that SOB..look at the rocks!!
I got one question. The one thing that stood out to me was Negan saying "i would never kill a kid". But when Ricks group for first time went to Hilltop (Season 6ep11), Jesus said that the they killed a boy of 16years old to make them "understand right of the bat"? I don't know, this kinda bugged me because Carl sure wasn't 10 anymore? Maybe it's perspective, but Carl didnt seem like a kid anymore yet Negan talks about him as if he were one?
Last season the last episode when negan is talking to michonne after he saves Judith he says “common enemy common goal, it’s just that no one ever thinks their the evil one”
If there's a spy from inside the camp it would be Aaron. The scene of Aaron trying to help Gamma implies that. Also, the only way that Alpha would know Aaron crossed the border for a brief second is for Aaron to give the info himself
"She didn't want me to tell you but she caught a little bug," DIDN'T WE JUST SEE A WHISPERER PUTTING WALKER BLOOD INTO THERE WATER SUPPLY. I think rosita got the walker blood into her. Like if you agree.
Good episode guys, yes they are trying hard to make people like Negan. I knew that crazy wannabe was gonna come back and kill the mom and kid. I think he is trying to change, but like another reactor said about the Govna, "Once a psychopath always a psychopath ". Personally I admit will never like his character, did too much imo, wouldn't ever trust him, he loves children but at the same time will bash your partners brains out, then taunt you afterwards, yeah he's nice person now..lol
Being a former teacher and the other episodes where Negan has said he likes kids and that people are resources, not to mention the bond with Judith, there's just no way he will become a Whisperer. I'm sure when you saw Negan's evil smile in the episode, it had to mean he actually has come up with a plan. No, he connects with the Alexandrians and NOT the Saviors, but needs the "Spirit" of the old Negan to make it work.
I think Negan found out that his only hope left is Alexandria because he ain't got companion no more. So he's likely messing with the whisperers just then behead Alpha, go back to Alexandria and earn their trust.
This weeks episode is rough for many reasons but figured I’d be in good company here. A terminal cancer diagnosis in my own family this weekend with two months left, and then Magna. I’d have done anything to have a person like that around during that time in my life. I don’t blame her at all. And I actually didn’t know Ezekiel turned off the radio until watching your reaction. Got too close to home and I skipped ahead when watching the episode. I know he’s fictional, but Ezekiel really doesn’t get it easy. The poor guy has been through so much pain. I can’t even imagine what Carol’s reaction would’ve been if he’d have stayed on that radio and told her. I can see her having enough empathy to try and make the time he has better and not endure it alone. But I get him not telling her. My family member has decided they don’t want to see any of us to preserve the memory of what he’s always been and not see him so sick. I may have to use Siddiq’s line in our next conversation. That sentence choked me up, it’s just so true. And no, acupuncture and hypnosis for cancer, Siddiq knows better than that, he’s just trying to give the poor guy hope. Thanks for always sticking with the emotional bits in these episodes. Feels better watching along with someone when those real life painful moments crop up for people. If anyone else is going through/has been through anything similar, my heart is with you. See you guys next week. And sorry for not checking in with the streams lately, a lot going on but be back soon.
Last comment was personal but this is one for you guys to think on. With what happened at Hill Top with Negan accidentally killing someone, do you think if any of our group stumble across the Mom, kid, and psychos’ bodies they will assume Negan has gone full killer mode again? (I mean, he did kill the psycho but he had it coming!)
negan is getting better sure and he might be on our side but i hate the fact that they made him say "i will never kill a kid" when he was literally 0.3 seconds away from killing carl with lucille right before shiva came in, killed a 16 year old kid at hilltop and even joked about killing baby judith back in season 7. idk that line bothered me a lot lol but no hate to anyone that likes him just had to put this out there!
They get to watch the episodes early on a AMC website site for a fee so these TWD reactions are already watched, edited, and rendering before the episode has even aired. It takes three / four hours to edit and render a reaction for RUclips.
Negan walking into whisperer territory and raising hell is like my great grandfather walking along the front lines during WW2 calling out nazis. He too had POWs on their knees shooting them in the mouth one by one.
I thought Negan was imagining Brandon. I thought he represented Negan's internal struggle about who he is now, New Negan, or Classic Negan? Guess I over analyzed it a bit, lol. 😁
@@AH-yu2pi No, I meant I thought that at first. Once the woman & kid came into it I knew he was real... Poppycock? Really? What are you a 19th century brit?
Negan is gonna be the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing even though the Whisperers are humans in zombies skins. Alpha is going to send Gamma to Hilltop to be a Whisperer in Communties. Lots of hiding!!! Oh my gosh. Love your reactions.
the way i see it... Negan were long been redeemed by Judith.. just try to live on and move on to be an ordinary guy/farmer.. till things went bad.. not running away.. arron make him go away (not sure bout the plot but im sure arron have something to do with his escape).. get drown back to darkness by brandon and willingly to join whisperer... but will be saved by judith again with her talk no jutsu that she inherited from his dad...
I believe the remorse was shown when he left ASZ last season & revisited the clearing where he killed them & proceeded to break into a cold sweat & vomit on the spot. Might not have been in front of everyone begging for forgiveness but he obviously CURRENTLY does feel horrible for it.
TRIVIA: The song playing in Magna & Yumiko's record player scene this evening was actually a cover of Emily Kinney { aka Beth Greene's } new single ""The Turtle & the Monkey" song by Beta before the Apocalypse began when he was a country recording artist. !!!
Appreciate using my question from last week! Good stuff again. Talk about pulling you back and forth with Negan. Really making it hard to read him and what he is going to do. It is going to be soooo interesting seeing what Negan's motivations are for going to the whisperers. Do we think Gamma turns after cutting herself while stabbing the walker?
Yeah, definitely not ALL of us is rooting for Negan. I still don’t trust him. People like that don’t change. I don’t feel like he is remorseful. If he could get his power back and be on top again, he would go back to his old tricks in a second. That said, he does seem to be mellowing some.
I dont know but I find it a little interesting that in the same episode both Rosita, and Ezekiel are sick, both were on spikes in the comics. hmmm. Also I want Negan VS Beta, SO bad!
I think if negan is doing this stuff with no one to see is a really good strong evidence on what he really became.. So when I watched this episode an hour ago in that part where he was killing the stupid fun boy I thought that in that specific moment negan killed his old self. In that scene, the show is basically telling us “here’s a new negan with a new lucille, and he can wear his jacket now”.
Gamma Is kinda working against Alfa by killing the guardians on the creek, out of revenge for what happened to her sister. I think that's why Aron helps her.
Negan becoming his old persona is a necessary evil for what he will likely be doing -- which is tearing down the Whisperers from the inside out. If he was the broken Negan that he became in Alexandria, I don't think he would have it in him to get very far. If I were to make a wrestling reference, I would say think back to Mankind becoming Cactus Jack vs. Triple H.
If neagan infiltrates the wisperers and ultimately saves the remaining groups then I will happily take back last weeks comments about neagan... thanks for telling your opinion on him.. great show :)

If there's a spy from inside the camp it would be Aaron. The scene of Aaron trying to help Gamma implies that. Also, the only way that Alpha would know Aaron crossed the border for a brief second is for Aaron to give the info himself
i really thought negan would have something special with them 😭
Me too
In my head I was just screaming MORE MORE MORE
"She didn't want me to tell you but she caught a little bug," DIDN'T WE JUST SEE A WHISPERER PUTTING WALKER BLOOD INTO THERE WATER SUPPLY. I think rosita got the walker blood into her. Like if you agree.
Negan is the best character right now . Him and Carl is making the show right now .
Sheree Grimes , your right, just like Rick going into a post and murdering men in their sleep.
So everyone is bad right?
I mean tbf rick did attack first while practically knowing nothing about them
Being a former teacher and the other episodes where Negan has said he likes kids and that people are resources, not to mention the bond with Judith, there's just no way he will become a Whisperer.
Glad your electricity is back
One thing we've learned about Negan is...Negan loves the kids!
Calmly Negan just pretends to be old Negan
Shit's about to go down fuck yeah XD
Y’all popped this one out real fast!! Way to go, Steven!
He too had POWs on their knees shooting them in the mouth one by one.
this sounds like murder
Exactly Negan is alot of things but will not harm kids. That kid deserved his muffin cap pealed back blue.
Steve: she don't give no fuck! 😂😂
I thought Negan was imagining Brandon. I thought he represented Negan's internal struggle about who he is now, New Negan, or Classic Negan? Guess I over analyzed it a bit, lol. 😁
Did he therefore imagine the mother and son? Poppycock.
@@AH-yu2pi No, I meant I thought that at first. Once the woman & kid came into it I knew he was real...
Poppycock? Really? What are you a 19th century brit?
@Lucimyr Glad I'm not the only one to think that...😁
@@mojoriot2293 Are you really glad you're not the only one? Bollocks. 😉
The show is gonna transfer from living off the land to becoming more modern and developing medicines into the re-intro of the Commonwealth.
Negan is gonna be the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing even though the Whisperers are humans in zombies skins. Alpha is going to send Gamma to Hilltop to be a Whisperer in Communties. Lots of hiding!!!
Oh my gosh.
Love your reactions.
I think he’s going to kill alpha for Alexandria and hilltop. Full redemption.
Dudeee The Nut Tap Talk Got Me! HAhaaa
the way i see it...
"go to high you get nothin but dick" that line had me rolling for 5 minutes straight lmfao
Just noticed Gamma is Dani from hocus pocus.... Well damn
Haven't even watched but already know everything is going to be zomtastic
Steven..."Anyone can be redeemed."
Me...."not Ramsay Bolton" lol
Have you read the comics?
What a dope episode & episode breakdown, thank you! Negan is back
I dont know but I find it a little interesting that in the same episode both Rosita, and Ezekiel are sick, both were on spikes in the comics.
I also think that beta was a country singer before and that song that was playing on the record player was beta.
Y’all with the quickness 😍
