@@SaraMorgan-ym6ue especially when the cat who chose you is a pain in the butt but you love them despite the fact that they keep stealing all your food, getting into the cubbies, running out the door, opening doors they know they aren’t allowed in, begging for food from someone else after you just fed them, getting randomly stuck in Walmart bags (example in one of my videos), managing to get their claws stuck into the curtains or bedding, getting out of their collar or harness, etc. Lol

I had a cat climb into my car as I was gathering packages from the back seat. It was a very cold evening and she wanted to get warm. That sweet little baby was with us for 21 years, oldest cat ever in a lifetime blessed with cats.

@@sonofadeadbeat3051 most cats don’t tend to do that kind of thing unless you are doing something to harm them. Love bites perhaps and accidental scratches maybe.
For such a large community of unhoused cats, they seem to be very well socialised, clean and in excellent shape, not feral at all.

About a month ago a stray showed up at my door on a rainy morning , I said HI and he came into the house . He was very skinny and matted , well he is nice and clean and well fed and sitting next to me surfing the net watching cat videos

Yes very trusting of people. Normal strays are not so trusting. They say that animals can tell if a person is good or not. Must be scent related or something. Too bad you couldn't give them all a home. That would be a lot to ask of a single person but, if you had friends that wanted a forever friend then maybe those cats got a chance too.

its a tabby cat the most loving cat there is. i was always a dog person i believed all the false things said about cats until i was adopted by a gray tabby who kept coming around our house. she was the greatest pet anyone could of asked for the bond i formed with her will be with me until the day i die miss her every day. she followed me every where waited by the window for me every day she would sleep in between my wife and i and put her forehead into mine and fall asleep every night

@@marial8235 sorry for your loss. its tough.i dream about her a lot to point that i wonder if she is visiting me in my dreams. we only had her 4 years and i was shocked when vet said she was 12-14 years old. we lost her and our black lab 2 months apart to rare forms of cancer.we came find out people live behind us hired green thumb spray pesticides 9 times in 3 month period im convinced thats how they both got sick.we will eventually get another dog but will never get another cat .no other cat could measure up to her she was amazing

Bless you. I was the "cat whisperer" in my neighborhood. ( I'm in the USA) I had my own indoor cat, and I fed all the outdoor, neighborhood cats. My shady yard, had plenty of soft green Pampas grass clumps, for the cats to sleep in. I fed them, and had bowls of fresh water out. I petted them, & talked to them. Some were run-away cats, other's had homes to go back to. On any given day, 4 to 6 would meander into my backyard. I gave them all names,....not knowing if they already, had names. I loved their devoted attention. Daily I would be out in my yard tending to my flower beds.

How can someone just abandon all these cats. I would love to adopt them all.
I'd help them all find all good forever homes. They all also look very sweet ,trusting and good cats. I never understood how people can walk away to a loyal pet.
Sometimes gets get out on their own and then breed as well but ya, Those that toss their pets out are horrible. At least give them to a shelter or find them a new loving home.
They are in Turkey. The country LOVES cats and everyone takes care of the strays. I was stationed there for 1.5 years. I went to Istanbul and they had cat houses built all over. Everyone carried food around like this. That's why the cats are so friendly. I loved my time there.

Don’t worry these cats look well fed and well loved. I’m assuming they are in a community that takes care of all the strays. They are very healthy friendly strays. This man can’t take them all obviously but that cat that chose him is going to be living a life if luxury that’s for sure ❤

This makes me miss my best friend from Cali, a cat named Confucius. He was the pet of a woman I rented a room from when I was traveling in Cali on contract. He was the SWEETEST cat and was very affectionate. When I came home from work he’d be waiting for me everyday, same time. The owner told me that after I left he still waited for me, but I never came. Broke my heart. 😭

Its a calico, smartest cat there is ! Mine talks, says milk, yes and no ! 😳 Notice how it bypassed the others and got in the car ! 😂 Congrats on your adoption . ❤❤❤ He said it's rough out here !!! I took in a calico kitten, well, I thought it was a kitten, she's really small and she had 6 kittens, came with a husband too ! I now have 12 cats !! Started with 4 and the family of 8 made it 12 ! Lot of work, but where else can you get that much love unconditionally ?? 😇
Thanks for taking care of those kitties! I hope you got them all fixed. BTW, you should never give cats cows milk. They are lactose intolerant and it will make them sick. Goats milk is ok or powdered milk supplement that you can use for kittens that are bottle fed.

They all look too well maintained, clean, and even tempered to be strays.
strays can be friendly, especially in areas where they're used to a lot of humans. I get the sense this was in Turkiye so that would make sense
@@TonyNaber I’m living in turkey at the moment and that’s definitely the case. In my apartment block there a gang of almost ten “regulars” stray cats who turn up every day to be fed by the residents, myself included.
It's because they've been fixed via capture and release programs and then well fed by visitors and cat lovers.
@@michaeljose8122 oh that’s super nice! I grew up in Jordan not too far away, we don’t have as many cats but there were always 3-5 cats somewhere along the street. Residents also feed the cats and often adopt them. And they know how to ask for food just like a house cat. Never been attacked by one, people who do just don’t understand that It’s a small territorial animal and not a house puppy lol

That is so funny the cat wants to ride in your child’s car seat, smart cat. First time we have seen a cat trying to hitch a ride to their destination, rather then walking. Lucky you don’t have a convertible.
My cat Leelo was an orange tabby and would jump in peoples cars. I hope thats why he went missing yrs ago and a loving person took him in.

They form social groups, especially if they are family members, and they have a hierarchy. They respect the hierarchy, but sometimes they do give reminders, such as at 6:28. Lol.

Mine chose me when I was only 9 way back in late ‘06. He’d still be here if it weren’t for cancer. Had him for 16 and a half years. Such a sweet soul ❤️

That happened to us when I was growing up. We were in a church parking lot, stray cat walks right up to the car and walks right in. We tried to figure out if he belonged to anybody, but could not figure out if he had an owner (no collar, no microchip, nobody responded on any of the Facebook groups for lost pets in the area). He ended up being ours.
He wouldn’t stop eating for days. He was obviously very hungry and grew very quickly after being adopted.

You got to take them all home the cool thing is I think they're all from the same litter one of them is the mom and they would make great pets as a family animals from the same litter are always great together and make a really good menagerie of pets. it's just different than having animals cats from different families when you have cat siblings together they get along great and it's much better than having cats from different litters

Our third cat adopted my family after being dumped on our gravel road about a year ago. She was meowing at our window so my wife and daughters fed it. We put her picture on a local facebook page but didn’t get any results. (We have had two orange boys from the same litter for about 8 years and were reluctant to bring another cat into the mix).
Snow came back about a week after she showed up so I let the girls set up a space for her in the garage, as soon as my wife filled a litter box for her she went directly to it as if to say “I know how these things work”.
Shortly after that we took her to our vet and found she wasn’t chipped.
After about 3 months of her living outside/ in the garage while we tried to find a home for her we made a vet appointment and brought her inside the day before and confined her to a bedroom with a box, water and food plus a pair of 13 year old girls who adored her.
Took her to the vet and found that she had been spayed.
Now she is about my favorite cat, at times she tears through the house like she is going to hit a T intersection and go straight but she is very gentle. She gets along very well with one of our cats and tries to avoid the other but 10 months on the one that doesn’t want to play just avoid each other.
She also has learned that if she wants to play with the other cat that her approach matters, ie don’t just run up and pounce on the cat that is at least 7-8 years older than you. One example of this is she will run up to him and do some ninja moves and then waits for his response.

Stumpy the bear did the same thing. He was an older cat I had him for about 7 more years. One of the best cats ever.
I found one of my cats in a Wal Mart parking lot and took him home. What a wonderful cat! He could play fetch with ponytail holders and was sweet as could be.

@@Mythraen You can mimic whatever you want, call or offer food, animal will simply approach you or not. They have senses and survival skills we lost over time. In a city of 2.5M, in completely unknown neighborhood, during war time, my father was approached by a lost and scared German shepherd who wouldn't let go. They walked 14km to our home together (dog wanted to enter the city bus with my dad, it wasn't allowed). We gave it to a friend for adoption. Who mimicked what there...?

Cats trick people into taking them in & falling in love with them. Cats have hypnotic powers. My grandpa said a cat hypnotized birds in the barn when he was a kid & caught them. This orange cat is cute.

Bring water for them next time. I think the cats in the video may be thirsty since some were not eating the dry food. The strays looked really healthy too. I think they are being fed and petted by people. Feed them canned food and it will help prevent kidney disease later in life. My cat gets a small can a day and also some dry to munch on at night. My last cat lived to be 19 1/2 years old on this diet. I feed the strays in my neighborhood daily too. Leave fresh water for them too. You have been picked by the cat in the car.
