@huzza18 Slash never say that in his book. Where did you get that from? I remember when it happened. Jeff was supposed to appear with GnR on that Paris show. Jeff had tinitus from all his years of playing. At some point he plugged into Slash's rig and his hearing went out in one of his ears. At first he was pissed at Slash about it, but came around later, realizing of course it wasn't Slash's fault.
@huzza18 Well what ever you read was wrong. The book I read, which is in the language Slash speaks (lol) said what I said earlier. Furthermore, as a Jeff Beck fan I remember when it happened because I was disappointed at not getting to see him at this show.
At 0:31 I'm pretty sure that Steven Tyler walks by, no one else's mouth is that big. Also, when the camera occasionally shifts over to the right the band members from Aerosmith are sitting on the stage.
This is the day Axl was supposed to show up at the rehearsal and he didn't (like always). Even Joe and Steven are there when they only were going to play 2 songs, Axl never explained why he didn't show up, Steven told Slash "Where's your singer?" trying to point Axl's irresponsibility out.
There’s another video of this soundcheck around and Axl actually is there, he just isn’t on camera and is watching. I’m guessing you got Steven Tyler saying “where’s your singer” from slash’s book which is riddled with lies and stuff that never happened

He showed up for this show. This is Paris 1992, which was by far one of GNR's best shows. Axl rarely when to rehearsals.

It’s so sad Jeff Beck couldn’t play the show with them. This was the day his ear drums got blown out while they were rehearsing
