This was a brilliant dialog. TY so much for creating this amazing opportunity for us all. I was at the live ZOOM and am so looking forward to listening to it again.
Wow funny coincidence because yesterday I had just watched an adya video on Instagram and then thought it would be so cool if Rupert and Adya spoke together and then this pops up the next day! Gotta love it
@@terefefeyssa877 bcoz 1) Adya try to enter or connect to seeker psychology emotionally more than rupert, Rupert just try to show even this psychology as just content n speak directly 2)Rupert see the 1st rung of ladder (path) same as last rung of ladder ( which is true) Adya try to explain in between rung of ladder (path) bcoz though it may be illusion But still we have created it, so it must be consider or studied. 3)Rupert slowly hit the hammer in 3rd eye with same pace. Adya very slowely first stimulate the nail around the 3rd eye, and in between hit The 3rd eye in doing so. 4)adya - metaphor expression, somehow cloudy but with diamond hidden Rupert - poetic expression, somehow synthesize and open diamond 5 ) adya - pull us to left and when we agree he suddenly change the course to opposite right side, confusing us little and again when we're convinced he bring us to the middle ,Just showing how complex it is if we try to understand through mind. and we drop the mind. This is the way of zen. In this case Rupert trust us more than adya and directly speak using different words for same expression. 6)adya - share more his personal seeking experience or story Rupert - share little of his personal story I'm fan of both , take care
Does it matter? There are so so many wonderful "alive" or "passed on" teachers. We all have different upbringing, conditioning, etc...... I have just always followed those that bring me to my True nature......STILLNESS.......AWARENESS... I've benefitted by listening to John Butler, Papaji, Mooji, Eckhart, Nisargadatta, Byron Katie, Adya and more But none of these required "effort" VIGILANCE & EARNESTNESS .......YES! to not residential with the ego/psychological mind
excellent -sacred activism also! :) This is very congenial to me (On the day the appalling UK 'Government' decided to 'relax' its Net Zero Commitments!!)
I think we need more (lifelong) committed Western students, and fewer self aggrandized Western teachers, many who still live conventional, materialistic, egocentric, consumer lives. The knot of Eurocentric mind is mighty, and self declarations of teacherhood pulls both ends of the rope ever tighter…. to audiences with similar fantasies about being “ the one” at the front of the room. How silly.
wow this is the cross-over we've all been waiting for!

Jack Vance: I am still asking myself why the teachings of Adyashanti have not resonated with me. I tried for a long time.
