The Biggest Unclogging I Have Ever Done To Drain A Flooding Road. Floating Moose Piles

  • Опубликовано: 18 сен 2022
  • We were at this exact location about 3 weeks ago and we unclogged it partially enough to get it off the road and I thought it couldn't be completely unclogged because there was a tree down there but turns out it was the other side that's crumpled and wouldn't have been able to be opened anyways so awesome we were able to successfully get the entire Culvert open
I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

One of the best culvert unclogging I’ve seen for a while! Love you channel, what with culverts and drains, I love it. I’m a 57 year old disabled person, living in the uk. I was getting out the car in my road and saw that both the drains outside my house were clogged after the rains because of pine needles, so I hobble over with my walking stick and start trying to unclog the drains with my stick and good leg! Husband comes out “what the hell you doing?” He thought I’d gone mad when I told him, I carried on poking and scraping the drains, then hubby said “oh goodness sake, I’ll do it!” Now when it rains he’s out there checking so I don’t go!! We both think it’s hilarious and he thinks I’ve gone and lost the plot! Thanks Post 10 you certainly made our life more entertaining! 😅😂😂

I know you are always worried about filling waders or your tall boots with water but I may have another solution for you. Have you tried a pair of neoprene diving pants or shorts? Diving wear has come a long way in diversity. Diving suits come in pieces now and depending on where you buy them come pretty cheap. The lowest I saw is around $20.00 for a pair of diving shorts. Also you can buy diving socks to keep your feet warm and dry inside your boots. But the idea of the diving pants or shorts is so you don't ruin your jeans.
    Just an idea anyway.

Sir. Over the years I have watched you battle, tenaciously, with commitment and strength. I've seen you deliver powerful insights and convey natural beauty. You taken us to places, I know I'll never see, and throughout all of this, we've got to know you, who you are and for what you stand for.
This video.....wow.....was on a completely different level.
    You entered God Mode.
The energy was explosive. The sheer will was awe inspiring.
You were driven, no second guessing, no wildly ploughing head first, no blunt fist.
This was a diamond beam of concentration, force and unbending will.
I've never seen you this determined.
There wasn't a single moment where we thought you were gonna stop until the job was done.
    That was incredible Mate.
    Just incredible
    Love from Liverpool UK.
    Wow.

I agree. I want to see those people moving huge clumps of wet grass on a rake inside a steady stream of cold water rushing by your flooded boots, wanting to sweep you off your feet any second, while standing crouched in a slippery metal pipe, breathing suffocating gasses. I think it's extremely impressive to do that for more than a few minutes.

Would be a great idea to take water samples, there could've been some bad unnatural chemicals in that water. Especially from the stinky area @ the end. I love how if what they thought was the best dam ever they start adding whole damn trees the next time😂that beaver knew exactly what he was doing making it as difficult as possible to dismantle it.

I'd be out there trapping the beavers and grating off the culverts. Aka get some tags and permission then nab a few of them gremlins. You can get endless amout of scrap from the junkyard for free to do this as well. That's what we do around here to fix the clogging problem once and for all. Then you just clear off the makeshift grate every year or so and have very little flooding(besides maybe the occasional failure or big downed tree or something).

I think what you might be describing is called Noseeums. You can't keep them out with regular bug screens as they are so small, and some are so tiny you can't even see them, but they bite and it hurts. In Florida, we have over 47 varieties of them.
