It's true it's also depends on chipset they're using and software but I really hate about Samsung they're device is very in pricing even their budget devices you will get nothing special about it but the expensive price unlike in other brands like infinix, OnePlus, ,realme, huwawei Xiaomi and oppo you will get what you paid for this brands has a lot to offer dual stereo speakers , better chipset ,good cameras optimize UI even 5g connectivity and punch hole design always latest among latest but it's more affordable devices
Its a good upgrade coming from the A22 lte to A23 lte though... Considering The Meditatek G80 has Some optimization issue on the A22 LTE which makes 90hrtz soo laggy and jittery

I have been using Samsung Galaxy A23 5G with a refresh rate of 120HZ and 8GB RAM for a while now and it works just fine even with several apps running in the background. The cameras are pretty standard though it isn't fare enough to compare it with the flagship models.
Samsung are sliding down the value and spec charts in each pricing category, and this is a prime example. The A23 is an average phone but if you love Samsung I am sure you will find reasons to buy it. Just you could do better. If you insist then get a discount as the retail price is too high. Very generic, insipid, retrograde rather than upgrade, almost an exercise in price-gouging and if it was never released it would not be missed.

Apple always delivers quality with update. Meanwhile Scamsung only provides numbers. 💥💥All these phones look the same this Samsung A23 beside the notch look just like the Samsung A52 and A53 from the back. My Samsung A51 5G I got in 2020 is still going strong with Android 12 and the new one ui 4.1 update I just got.. I also got Motorola One 5G Ace last summer and my OnePlus 6T I got in 2018 is still a fast beast. The next phone i might get probably be the OnePlus N20 5G
I plan to get a new phone next month I'm thinking A23 (5G Snapdragon 695 chipset) or A33? However, the price difference of A23 vs A33 here in our country is huge might pursue A23. I agree reviewer assessment. :(
@@alili945 I use the S20 FE exynos model, the A23 is used by my mother. Honestly from my observation it's been good. The battery life has been well, she charges the phone to about 84% (to protect the battery) and it lasts throughout the day. She's not a heavy user, she plays games like Subway surfers and use social media like WhatsApp and Facebook a lot. The battery manages to last for a full day on average to heavy use. Many people were complaining about the photos (I wonder if it could be for a different variant of the phone) but the photos are good, both the selfie and rear cameras are good enough, obviously not flagship standard but they do well in daylight . I was comparing some picture I took with the S20 FE with the A23s, taken during the day, with enough lighting, and the A23 stood its ground. It's the 4G, 4GB, 64GB model in light blue (I'm bad with colours, lol). The 90Hz is awesome. Haven't tried heavy games on it.
This phone Performance for daily task and medium gaming is PERFECT. but camera and build quality is poor. also battery life is decent normal. that it !!
I hate these companies can't even put a punch hole on their displays. They tend to keep their profit margins as high as possible for even the lower end phones.

The phone is nice and sharp camera, but now when I upload the pictures on WhatsApp it becomes blur, I need assistance, cause when I went to where I purchased the phone, they said is whatapp fault, what's the essence of purchasing a sharp camera and when I upload it becomes blurring
If you must use WhatsApp, share the photos as documents instead. If you share as regular photos then Whatsapp will automatically reduce the quality of your photo to cap the size for efficient sharing I think. Otherwise you might want to transfer photos to PC or share via bluetooth etc if you wish to preserve their original quality.

After I did the factory settings, Facebook photos and videos are now better and sharp. The only app that did not suffer all the blurriness was Instagram app

incase you ever think of buying this phone the common issues are, airplane mode not disabling resulting in not being able to use sim, backlight issue resulting in the phone not switching on but flashing when you press the power button, all these issues are hardware related so once you encounter any of them you might as well buy a new phone than try fixing the issue yourself.
If you're looking at budget and budget only then yes. You should however consider other factors such as durability over long time (software and hardware) and security via updates for the next 3-4 years. Xiaomi is known to have great specs on paper but the experience varies from user to user.

Just like the A13. Same screen size, battery capacity and camera setup. Same flaws as well. Sluggish adaptive brightness, low screen brightness,inaccurate screen colours and the price. But again, it's not too slow. If you're patient enough you'll enjoy it.

I had a galaxy grand prime pro from 2018 that plays games much smoother than this! I don't know if this is normally??
