- Unboxing and Review of Jabra's Evolve 75 which is a call-service oriented stereo Bluetooth headset with active noise cancellation and strong mic intelligibility. Its not cheap, but it's made for business applications, and certified for Skype for Business and Cisco, among others. It's a very comfortable headset that offers high-quality audio performance, excellent mic intelligibility, and better-than-average active noise cancellation. It could be a bit easier to use, but if you need noise cancellation, it's a strong option.
You can buy the Evolve 75 in a model that is optimized for Skype for Business or Unified Communication (both are the same price). It's a lightweight (6.3 ounces), supra-aural (on-ear) headset with a primarily black design. The earpads have a well-cushioned leather feel that is exceptionally comfortable, even over long listening periods, as is the headband, which has a rubberized padded area.

There are few more controls on the headset, like mute button, volume up/down and it also has button to pause/play the audio. These are something that is not mentioned in the video somehow. :)

How to change/replace damaged cushions for Jabra Link 370
#1 immediate question is not touched: Can't you use your computer's default blue tooth capability to connect headset? Another words, are you required to use the Jabra bluetooth chip when using with computer?
Thats a great question. Technically it would work but your experience of using it wont be the same as using the device using the USB adapter. Some quality issues like range reduction, sub par sound quality, cutting in and out from a call will be experienced. Other than these issues there are some device features like no microphone mute/unmute from headset will not be available. To overcome these issues its best to use the adapter. Hope this helps!
is this good for the music? is the bass okay?
As long as you don’t compare to much higher end headphones it will perform well for music. It a good balance between work headphones and for casual music listening but if you need something just for music then you should probably explore other options. Hope this helps.
How do the different versions affect things? I’m looking at this. I need it for ring central and Skype and MS teams. Found the Skype version for cheaper with a base.
After having used both versions, I find the 75 to be worth the extra expense considering its fit on the head, sound quality and the noise cancellation. I also really like the fact that as you move the mouth piece up, it automatically mutes the microphone and if brought down towards the mouth it turns it back on. Using it all day this is a great feature.

What's the difference with MS version and UC version
The MS and UC headsets are almost identical. The main difference lies in the pre-configured settings of the headset. The MS models are certified for Microsoft Skype for Business (Lync) support Microsoft Skype for Business, right out of the box.
UC stands for Unified Communications. In the context of a computer headset, it means the headset is optimized for soft phones, or programs on your computer that connect to the office telephone system and pretend to be a real telephone.
