This video reminds us that the fear of losing someone can ironically push them away. It's a counterintuitive truth that when we stop being afraid and start focusing on our own growth and value, others begin to appreciate us more. This isn't just about relationships; it's a powerful life lesson in self-worth and independence. Have you experienced a similar transformation when you shifted your focus from fear to personal strength?
@@StoicQuotes365 Hi. Thanks for the reply. However I know quite a bit about law of manifestation/gratitude practice/Positive affirmations, but still listening to these stoic qoutes really helped and it came to me when I needed it the most. So thankyou once again 🙌
@@stylish_tarotqueen777 Hi! We're glad that the Stoic quotes resonated with you and came at the right time. It’s great that you’re already practicing positive affirmations and manifestation, as they go hand-in-hand with the teachings of Stoicism. Stoic philosophy reminds us that focusing on our inner growth is key, and it’s wonderful to hear that you found value in combining these practices. Thanks again for your thoughtful comment, and we look forward to hearing more from you!
You emphasize that you have to have a life of your own, first. If you don't have anything to offer, no one will want to part of your life. No one wants to carry your burden of motivation. It takes bravery to take your own path. When you have your own, path people get curious about your path. Going out on your own is full of fear. Like fear is a good for you. Hard to believe.
You’re absolutely right-it does take bravery to carve your own path. Stoicism teaches us that fear is a natural part of growth. As Seneca said, “We suffer more in imagination than in reality.” Fear often comes from the unknown, but once you step forward, you realize it’s not as overwhelming as it seems. Taking your own path builds resilience, and that’s where true strength lies. When you focus on your journey, others naturally become curious and respect your independence. Keep pushing forward-it’s worth it!
The strategy of acting 'as if you don't care' isn’t about indifference; it's about self-liberation from the need for validation. It's intriguing how this shift not only enhances personal freedom but also, paradoxically, makes one more attractive. Does anyone else find that they attract more positivity when they focus on their happiness instead of seeking approval?
From feeling sorry for him, I loved him with my whole heartedly then he cheated on me cause he thought he so perfect. Anyway I was happy he abandoned me even my heart broken to species. I regained my strength and fulling my life. Every time a guy treat me badly, I get even better, stronger, prettier and more successful. Every time a guy left me , I bought a new property.I love myself whole heartedly now and no man can replace myself anymore. I met my wonderful man now but I realised the person love me unconditionally is me.
"This video really hit home! The way you break down stoic strategies into actionable steps is amazing. Definitely going to start embracing my own value more. Thank you for the inspiration!"
Thank you so much for your kind words! 🙏 I'm really glad the video resonated with you. Embracing your value is such a powerful step-you're already on the right path! Keep taking those actionable steps, and you'll see incredible growth. Remember, it's all about focusing on what you can control and letting your inner strength shine through. 💪 You've got this! Feel free to share your journey in the comments, I’d love to hear how it goes! 😊
I create my own adventures...🍂🍁 He will fear Loosing me as he sees am not the same old person to be messed with and realize what he lost.... He will step up to show me that he wants me back and apologize.😊 And I don't need anyone's validation... I validate myself...
Until two years ago I was fighting for my husband's attention and one day I just had enough. Then I understood that he had been teaching me all this time not to fight for his attention. I have two cats that I live for, I have my hobbies and meditations. Today it's the other way around - it's my husband who fights for my attention. And I don't even need it anymore. It’s necessary to know your own value! Yes! At home, at work, everywhere. And fear is an imagination. I sign all the wisdom in the video with my own blood.
Thank you for sharing your powerful story! It’s inspiring to hear how you reclaimed your worth and shifted your focus to what truly matters-yourself, your passions, and your peace of mind. When we stop chasing and start valuing ourselves, everything around us begins to change, as you’ve beautifully experienced. You’re absolutely right-knowing your value is essential, and fear really is just a creation of the mind. Your journey is a true testament to the wisdom in embracing self-worth and living authentically. Much respect to you! 🙌✨ Keep thriving!
I have two pets one is Katana that I got while I was in my relationship she's an emotional support dog she was a blessing along with my little Chihuahua Bambi greeting dog every day that I came home and then after when he had left me I think that I would have been terribly lonely and fearful having a pet gave me the strength to wake up every day to make it right with myself and to make sure that I'm responsible enough to take care of them as well as myself each day some days are hard some days I feel like I'm moving backwards
Thank you so much for sharing your story. Katana and Bambi sound like such incredible companions, giving you the support and strength to keep moving forward, even on the tough days. It's amazing how our pets can help us find purpose and keep going when we feel like we're at our lowest. You're doing something truly powerful by showing up for yourself and them every day, even when it feels like you're moving backwards. Progress isn't always linear, but the fact that you're still pushing through is a victory in itself. Stay strong, and remember you're not alone in this journey. Sending you lots of positive energy! 💪🐾❤️
Owning a pet as a step toward gaining independence and emotional security is such a unique take from this video. Pets provide unconditional love, which can immensely boost our self-esteem and happiness. For those who have pets, how has your furry friend contributed to your emotional well-being and confidence?
Nora's story is incredibly touching and illustrates the transformative power of Stoicism when we're at our lowest. It's not just about enduring pain but about finding the strength to redefine oneself despite it. I'm curious, has anyone else found a philosophical or personal breakthrough that helped them through a tough time?
I'm so glad to hear that you're recognizing your worth and stepping into your power! 🙌 You deserve to be valued and respected, and it’s amazing that you’ve come to that realization. Keep shining and standing strong-you’ve got this! 💪✨ Remember, true strength comes from within, and now that you know your worth, nothing can stop you. Sending you all the love and positivity on this journey! 🥰🙏 Keep pushing forward!
I love how the video emphasizes that our value doesn't depend on someone else's attention. It's something deeply embedded within us, something unshakeable. This message of self-worth is timeless and resonates deeply with anyone who's felt overlooked or undervalued. How has this realization changed how you approach relationships and self-esteem?
Thank you so much for sharing that insight! It's powerful when we realize that our worth isn't determined by someone else's validation but by how we see ourselves. It can be such a freeing shift in mindset. For me, understanding this changed everything - it made me more confident in setting boundaries, respecting my own needs, and not settling for less than I deserve. How about you? Have you noticed any shifts in how you navigate relationships or take care of your self-esteem since embracing this idea?
Thank you for replying I meant the world to me to wake up and actually see that somebody cares to give me the courage to continue on has it been a perfect since you left he left a lot of things that I had to pick up on but you know what thank goodness that my daughter is here and I have the stoics and I believe in myself because during the time that I started finding myself I started seeing what a person he really was and I never saw that before until I learned how to perceive things a little differently and I'm so grateful that I have my life back and I no longer have to be told that I'm nobody in the silence and the punishment City put me through punishment said he put me through he didn't even care he didn't even care he totally underestimated me but with the new found Freedom that I found I know that someday I'm going to have the life that I deserve and no longer do I have to take his punishments and I'm grateful for that thank you so much for being there and listening and being a part of my life
Your words are so powerful, and I'm truly moved by your strength. It sounds like you've been through an incredibly painful journey, but the fact that you're still standing shows just how resilient you are. It’s heartbreaking when we realize someone we trusted used our vulnerabilities against us, but the important thing is that you’ve found your way back to yourself. Your daughter and the belief you’ve built in yourself are proof of your courage and determination. Healing takes time, but you’ve already taken the most important step by reclaiming your life and refusing to let his actions define your worth. You deserve so much more than the pain he caused, and it’s inspiring to see you embrace your newfound freedom. You are worthy of a life filled with love and respect, and I have no doubt that the future holds better things for you. Stay strong and continue believing in yourself-you’ve got this!
Absolutely! Stoicism teaches us the importance of setting boundaries. If you constantly give without limits, you risk losing your own sense of self. As Seneca said, "He who is everywhere is nowhere." It’s essential to protect your own energy and well-being. Takers will keep taking if you allow it, so it's up to you to set those limits and preserve your peace. Boundaries aren't selfish-they're necessary for balance.
Gosh I feel like I'm in Nora's shoes I almost hung myself in the garage because I was so desperate to get love from him he was silent and cold I stayed up as her just like her crying sleeping in a different bed wondering what I did wrong I did find something just like her it showed up on my RUclips and I decided to listen to it if it wasn't for stoicism and for the guy that always narrates it I would have been lost thank you stoic habits if it wasn't for you I would have been dead probably no my life is not perfect and yes he left me and I'm here alone but thank God my daughter has come to move back in with me I'll figure it out I'm going to remain strong because it's a blessing in disguise and I know this no more mental abuse no more silence no more wondering what I did wrong no more being punished no more not receiving any phone calls or anything like that I do have fear but I believe that fear is something that is about self-growth now thank you so much for saving my life yes I'm scared to move forward but I know that I will be blessed better than what I ever have been I just have to be patient thank you still have it for everything you've done for me and thank you Nora for your story it means the world to me to know that I'm not the only one that has gone through this and still going through it
Your comment touched me deeply, and I want to start by saying how incredibly strong you are for sharing your story. The pain you've gone through is unimaginable, and yet here you are, standing tall and ready to move forward. That in itself is a testament to your courage and resilience. I'm so glad that Stoicism, along with the stories and insights you've found, has been a lifeline for you. It’s powerful to hear how you've transformed your fear into self-growth. The fact that you’re no longer accepting the silence, the mental abuse, and the endless wondering is a huge step towards reclaiming your peace and power. It's okay to be scared-that’s part of the journey. But you’re already proving that you have the strength to face whatever comes next. Keep holding onto that belief in yourself, and remember, patience and persistence will guide you to a life even better than what you’ve known. Thank you for sharing your story, and never forget-you are not alone in this. We’re all here with you on this journey, rooting for your continued growth and peace. Stay strong, stay patient, and know that brighter days are ahead. 🌿💪
There was a time when I gave everything to someone who barely noticed. I spent years chasing their approval, always wondering if I was good enough, until it left me feeling completely empty. Even now, I sometimes catch myself doubting my worth because of that experience. How do you fully heal from something like that? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks for sharing. Healing starts with realizing your worth isn’t tied to someone else’s approval. As Epictetus said, “It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.” Focus on what you control-your thoughts and actions. Learn from the experience, but don’t let it define you.
