That's a sign of horrible shoulder mobility ^^ It's not an achievement. You tend to see this with a ton of athletes who have large shoulders but don't specifically focus on keeping them mobile (as weightlifters would do). I also had this, to an extent, when I came back from my 1-2 year lockdown break. Couldn't properly front rack the bar bc I just sat around in bad positions, all day.
@@shemardefrei3476 Use bands and do full shoulder rotations from the front, to the back, start with light asf bands, to get the movement, then progress up. Had horrible shoulder mobility from judo training without proper stretching, sorted it out in a couple of months.
The pound to kilogram conversion/equivalents are WAY OUT. 60kgs is 132lbs ... not 140lbs and it's the same for every other weight listed... there's a major disparity. Other than that, great video.
I heard Noah say 115 when he put the 2 15kg plates on. Normally they’re in pounds which doesn’t equal the kg plates exactly but he just assumed and I’m guessing that’s what everyone else did
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. While they were all impressive, the poundages were off. Two blues and a green on each side add up to either 265 or 264 depending on weather the bar is 45 lbs or 20 kg(44lbs).
it's what happens when always going for silly one rep maxes lol (unless your training is geared around powerlifting then its understandable, but then also training differently)
