I'm sorry my dog is highly intelligent I'm sure most people's dogs are there's no way that my dog doesn't understand when he does something wrong he knows how are you going to tell me if you train the dog not to pee in the house then the dog obviously remembers not to pee into the house but if the dog pees the house while you're gone and then you reprimand him for that I was later how did the dog forget he was not supposed to do that how would the dog be confused if you reprimanded him on that? Maybe the dogs you've come across have no idea but I'm going to tell you what my dog knows
Every leading expert in dog behavior agrees that punishing a dog hours or even minutes after their bad behavior is counterproductive. Their brains do not grasp the concept of time like we do. You might think you know better than professionals who have dedicated their lives to this, but you don’t. You can’t even express your thoughts in a coherent manner. Your entire post was a jumbled mess of word vomit. Hopefully, for the sake of your pup, you can humble yourself enough to listen to people smarter and more knowledgeable than you. Punishing your dog in a way they can’t possibly comprehend is abusive. Also, dogs depend on us for everything. If your dog pees in the house, or chews something up, etc, that’s not the dog’s fault. It’s the person’s fault. Focus on being a better human and you’ll have a better dog.
