It's the difference between tactics and strategy. I think Travis is playing the latter with Fjord. In this particular scenario, he saw bad short-term consequences, so it was easy for him to dismiss it. And then there's Nott, who was out of his mind on drugs. So... hard to tell a person who thinks everything is awesome that, no, in reality, not everything is awesome.
I don't know why people like Molly, he was played by the worst voice actor in the group, who barely puts any thoughts into his characters and at best he was just going for some super edgy backstory where he's the hero. On top of that he died because the player was being extremely dumb.

But Molly of all things is an individual who while chaotic, snarky, and the person to push another NPC’s buttons. He saw it as an opportunity to live life to its fullest and to go out of his way to be better. To many of us he is anything but an edgelord.

She seemingly never had any friends besides the traveler and now she has "eight" of them thats probably why she's as sweet and loving as she is. She's just so sweet!
