Your 0-60 numbers are interesting. My stock 8.5V does 0-60 in 4.4 in ideal conditions, stage 2 most people are hitting 4 flat, but I've heard of some hitting as low as 3.7. Idk what tires you're running but ps4's should eliminate all wheelspin even launching stage 2. Either way, awesome vids!

yup, to be precise, the 1994 Lambo Diablo had a 4.6 sec 0-60, same as the Stock S3. Crazy!! But yeah, I can say for sure , I have a stock 2018 S3 and its F--ing fast as F--K. Stage 2 is just insane lol
I think the stg 2 tunes slow down the 0-60 time vs stg 1, but you get more in the mid/high rpm range. i never clocked a 1/4 mile run on stg 1, but the car pulls much harder in 3rd/4th gear in stg 2. i'd bet the 1/4 times are faster.

I bet it's better north of me but you have such a significant power drop it ends up being worth it .. without a tune you notice the Fmic off the rip it was surprising.. my last car didn't take to the Fmic as much save under WOT but on the S3 I see benefits across board .. really worthwhile but absolutely a pain to install as a heads up

@@RatchetWrenches I have a CTS front mount, it required a good amount of trimming of the cradle that the FMIC/Rad/Condensor sit within .. a GTI owner did a lot of flow and street testing on FMICs overall you're looking at Do88 (can get that from EQT), IE, Unitronic, CTS, APR, Mishi, AMS .. the big difference between them all is price and installation ease .. the best installation instructions I found were a mix of APR, ECS, and Unitronic, I needed to ref all 3 for little details .. absolutely 100% you're going to need to remove your A/C condensor so have it discharged by a pro first (it's not healthy to breath but won't hurt you, but the oil residue can become acidic and cause rust) so don't try to just swivel it out of the way like some DIYs say, it's SOOOOO much easier to fully remove - I wasted an hour or two trying to swivel it before giving up and discharging.
@@RatchetWrenches also snag yourself some RS3 coils and plugs on top of an FMIC - both will help with knock and you'll see more power, and then you'll be setup so if you wanted even more it's just MPI and/or bigger turbo.

According to their website it just doesn’t make financial sense in terms of the amount of money I’d have to spend on bolt ons to run stage 2 and the very little power difference I’d get back.
I can’t say if it has more power or not, but I ran APR on my mk5 and I have noticed APR doesn’t really push the limits on their tunes I feel like they are almost more conservative which makes sense, but EQT definitely pushes the car a lot more with their tunes (safely). So it’s possible EQT can provide more power for sure!
@@RatchetWrenches cool. As a fellow S3 owner, do you feel when mashing on the gas from a dead stop (even with TC off) if there is a hesitation? It drives me crazy. It only seems to remedy itself somewhat by shutting off TC AND putting the car in manual mode.
@@michaeliovani4487 I went from APR stage 1 high torque, ran 12.4s on high humidity and stock intercooler, switched to EQT stage 2 E30 with DSG tune and only a downpipe and ran a 11.86 on the track and 11.72 on dragy. the stock intercooler was holding me back, but there is definitely a difference, as for stage 2 93 I ran 12.1s on dragy with high temperatures and did 11.8s with temperatures in the low 50s.

If he’s pushing 390 at the wheels and a stock RS3 is pushing that at the crank, combined with the extra weight of the RS3 from the larger engine it’s definitely plausible.

Yeah I ran an awe SwitchPath with the downpipe and it sounded horrible so I put the stock catback on and deleted the factory resonator

You NEED an intercooler - you heat soak after 2 pulls without a downpipe
You don’t need an intercooler it’s highly suggested tho. All you need for the stage 2 is an intake and downpipe.

I can attest, stock rs3 cannot hang with my eqt stage 2 s3. Took him down by 2 cars both races. Also hit 3.7 0-60 on draggy
So you’re 500 to the crank? On stage 2??? Wow. Stock is like 292. Almost 200hp increase with just DP and tune
I actually made a mistake it’s 398-400 to the crank and 330ish to the wheels. But yea with a dp and a tune you gain 135hp

kinda bugs me the quattro stickers on a non quattro drive they actually use the Haldex-based all-wheel. the RS3 actually has the quattro.
