Stage 2 B58s? I gotta see it to believe it, them 140i's go stupid quick on a roll.
I believe it, but you have to remember that one stage 2 tune (basic dp, intake, and other bolt ons on stock turbo) can make 380whp while another can make 500whp on the same dyno. Stage 2 B58 only means the basic stage 2 mods on stock turbo and the tune.
Someone can be pushing their stock turbo to the limit and someone else can have a more conservative tune. So I’m sure he’s beat stage 2 b58’s, but I believe the b58’s stock turbo is capable of a little more when both are maxed out.

@@PapiAndrey the m240i 450bhp did a 0-60 3.39 in very wet 😂. Audi used to have the best all weather launch guess they lost that now. He’s getting dropped on a roll to a ~480bhp m140i.

@@jackeaton4084 not sure if he meant stage 2+ (including tu pump) or without. Im not sure how much ethanol this S3 is running. Because I believe a stage 2+ b58 on at least e30 is deffo beating him. 0/100 and 200-200 both. Especially with weight reduction like he did and on good tires
@@jackeaton4084 Ok, must of missed that part. Well still would be pretty close. It would have to be an x-drive and no fuel upgrades like HPFP...would still be very close. Pretty sure the around mid to high 7s in 100-200 and he said this has done a 7.3

Hey Jamie we’ve got a road legal Buggy that’s soon going to be turbo charged. Yamaha MT07 swapped at first will be making around 120ish bhp but 250kg but depending how it goes may go mental with it

The EA888 motor is legendary. There’s so many different ways to get big, smooth power out of it. You can do a little, or do a lot. Even somewhere in between gets you 475 bhp.

He may have beat a stage 2 b58 but it was probs in a 5 series or something heavy. Would like to see this against a m140i running stage 2 and all supporting mods. Nice car nonetheless.
even if the m140I does beat it that's a 3L IN6 vs a 2L the b58 isn't as legendary as people think
@reckz7628 the owner was the person who made the claim/comparison, plus regardless these cars are in the same price bracket. The b58 gets and maintains its cult status down to the fact it can handle big numbers(800bhp+) on stock internals. Will be interesting to see how much further this iteration of the ea888 can go before it grenades itself.

Most that are doing low 7s arent X-drive and have HPFPs installed. Pretty sure they are around 7.5-7.8 100-200 in a comparable car/mods

Just my opinion but after having DSG I only ever used the manual paddle mode just sitting there not changing gears just wasn’t involving enough!

Great engine this 2.0 tfsi evo4. However fuel system has 350 bar of pressure which means it is weak and there was a quite few failures already. Watch out for fuel system and hpfp in this evo 4 engines. Otherwise good engine and turbo charger.

But the owner is deluded if he thinks he’s beating a stage 2 b58 specially if it’s an M140i with a good tune on it or stage 2+ M140i. These do around 7.6-8 flat 100-200kph stage 2+ b58 has done high 6’s now 100-200kph, only advantage this has is the 0-60mph.
He said he has already done a 7.3 100-200 which beats a lot of stage 2 B58 x-drive cars

I would love to know, if that new continental turbo fits in the MK7 GTI. Would be a sick upgrade for mine.
It's not the conti turbo on its own its also both the hpfp and lpfp on the new gen4 ea888's flow alot more together with the stock conti turbo. Littco tuned a mk8 R using a littco 560 hybrid and it made over 560bhp which is easy even the mk7 r will make this power but all done with the stock fuel pumps, so would need both pumps plus conti turbo for around the 460-470bhp numbrrs on a mk8 r
Just get an eqt vortex. You’d need to do so much extra shit to run the conti alone
