    Thanks for another one on your S3, nice to see how things are coming together for you just as planned. If you go Vortex XL hybrid I think you'll be really happy. Im loving my 2018 S3 so far after the first year of ownership- 25K miles in 12 months, 0 issues, and I run the car hard all the time. I still haven't gotten mine tuned, but will soon now that Im starting to realize how reliable and robust these Gen3 EA888 2.0Ts really are.

      Thanks for the support! And yes I’d plan to go with the vortex for sure. But that’s awesome, once you tune it you’ll fall in love with the car even more. And yes these engines are built very well! They perfected the 2.0

    Can't wait for the chrome delete, will you consider blacked out badges as well?
    In your opinion is there much of a difference between pre and post facelift? In Australia the pre facelift are a bit cheaper but I am considering a car with fewer years on it (2017 - 2018) just for longevity sake.

    • @RatchetWrenches
      @RatchetWrenches  Год назад

      I’m not sure about blacking out the emblems or not I do like to have somewhat of a pop of another color but idk just yet! And for the facelift vs prefacelift it’s all the same mechanically. The only thing your getting with the facelift is different style front end. Some newer technology for like safety features etc, but overall they’re pretty much the same car mechanically speaking!

      @@RatchetWrenches Isn't there a 7th gear? Wonder how, if at all, that changes the car. I have a 2015 and love it, but FL looks better (more aggressive and modern) IMO. Also, the Virtual cockpit would have been nice, but I chose to save my dollars as well.
      Made the mistake of going APR Stage 1 tune right before they discontinued downpipe support. Now I have to figure out how I want to re-approach.
      LOVE your videos by the way! Thanks for all the info!
