    Grandmaster, sir, I am a new 1st dan student in China, and I am confusing about the meanings of heaven hand. My instructor told me that people collects the sun’s energy through the position. However in somewhere else, I read, “King Kwang Gae stood upon a hill and gazed through his hands towards heaven, asking the gods for a quick and successful battleepresent the commencement of battle”. Could you please tell me more about the posture? Thank you! Taekwon!

      The meaning I heard from General Choi is the one of Kwang Gae preparing for battle.

    GrandMaster Nardizzi, Sir, could you tell me please the meaning of position of hands in Close Stance A, B and C? Why the left hand cover the right hand.? Thanks Sir

      Good question. I remember General Choi explaining this to us although I don't remember his exact wording but it was something like this: As most people are right handed the right hand signifies the striking side. The left covers the right to conceal our weapon as TKD is an art of defence (as opposed to being aggressors).

      Thank you very much Sir. I think Taekwon Do as an art of defense too. For me, Taekwon Do has been an opportunity to learn about my potencial as well as my limits, and also a continuous encounter with values and virtues.

    Grandmaster, sir, tell me please difference between moa sogi and moa junbi sogi type D?

    • @DonatoNardizzi
      @DonatoNardizzi  6 лет назад +1

      When we mention any type of sogi (stance) we are only talking about the position of the feet and legs. It doesn't matter what the position of the arms are. When we mention a specific junbi sogi (ready stance) we are also talking about the position of the arms. Moa Sogi is when your feet are together with your legs straight regardless of what you are doing with your hands and arms, because in Moa Sogi you can perform many kinds of techniques. In Moa Junbi Sogi type D you must have the arms positioned to the side as described in my video, for the ready posture. I hope this answers your question.
