- Hi Golf Mad Family, Do you use a VICE golf ball? If so which ball of the range do you use? My gamer golf ball is usually the Vice Pro Plus or the Taylormade TP5x as my swing speeds are generally quite high. But I was gifted a dozen of the NEW 2024 Vice Pro golf balls and wanted to give them a test, So I captured ball data using the GC3 launch monitor and tested them for Performance, Feel and Durability to see if the drop in spin which this golf ball says when compared the pro plus is significant or not.

I have played vice pro for a few years now and never looked back!
Thinking of using the pro also now. Pro plus numbers suit me more but I really like the softer feel.
I’m 67 Old Ball Player and I play Vice Pro Plus.
The stats are good and the Vice Golf Pro can definitely be a good alternative for many players. Well, I think I will order two or three boxes and test them with the family and also play a round or two with them to experience them in practice, but I don't see any reason for us to change at the moment.
I myself play with the Pro V1 or Pro V1x from Titleist, depending on the weather and course conditions, as does my eldest son (16 years old, currently HCP 6.5). I try out new developments from time to time, but at the moment the Pro V1 (x) is my favourite in terms of trajectory, distance and feel.
My wife (3.5) and our other kids are currently all playing with the Supersoft from Callaway.

Top golfing family :) I love it. And absolutely with all your comments. My gamer is the TP5X but it is hard when it is £4 a ball approx and I am not playing tournament golf, just making content. That is why I opt for the Vice range from time to time. About to put an order in for 5 dozen which then brings the cost down to around £2.50 a ball. Small drop off in spin on the short game I found from the data from the TP5X but thas was the pro plus from a couple of years ago, so will let you know when i test the new 2024 Pro plus ball.

My slower swing speed the Vice Pro Air is by far best for me.

My swing speed is mid 90s should i try the pro or pro air
@@Kizinky I would probably edge towards the pro if you're swinging mid 90's. But If you are buying I think you can mix and match so could try both. If you want a cheaper option they do have the tour option also.
@@golfmaddad79the low spin high launch might make the air more fitting for a little bit more carry mid 90s to low 100s is what a 220 carry? A little less spin and higher launch might get them to 230 or 235 carry without changing much. But if they don’t have to worry about hazards maybe the pro would be good for run out from slightly lower launch
@@c0rndog748 i should mention its like 95 with driver and then progressively goes down as i go down to 3 wood, hybrid, 6,7 iron etc.
i use Seed SD 01 and just ordered seed SD 02 to try 4 ply better for windy conditions

Really impressed with them. I was about to order 5 dozen pro plus but they do like the softer feel so might go half and half.

@@APP1693 I am torn also. I love the softer feel also. I put off buying 5 dozen pro plus this weekend. Going to game the dozen pros I have and see if the small drop in spin effects and also if the driver spin gets to low. As I could definitely switch to the pro.
Are you using the 2024 Vice Pro Plus?
Not yet, I was about to order 5 dozen of the new pro plus, but I like the lime green (my poor eyes can see these better) but couldn't get my logo printed by vice on the coloured balls, so I did not order. They sound really good though. I was impressed with the 2024 Pro balls in the video. Have you tried the 2024 pro plus ball?
The 2024 vice pro plus is alot firmer noticeably

@@michaelscarcello5902 making me think now also before a purchase a bundle asap. The last pro plus batch I had from few years ago were firm, tempted to try the pro. As I do not play competitions currently and i do like that softer feel.
@@golfmaddad79 yes, i ran through my few dozen , honestly may be done with them. it went from 95 to 100 compression, but just very spinny and firm. I think i may be doome d with only using prov1x now because the older vice online in canada is the same price as prov1/prov1x. as the compression is 95 96 and nicer feel. unless anyone here knows of a prov1x, 2023 vice pro plus comparable
