The silhouette is certainly stunning and instantly recognizable as a Corvette.

The colour is even nicer in person, especially in the sun.
i would love to drive one of these today but the safety engineering in cars is a lot better now
It's perfectly safe otherwise it wouldn't be allowed on the road. It's more fun than most modern cars.

Big block hood small block motor.
The motor is a 5.7L (350ci) small block. It was rebuilt to match the 1970 specs, which was a more powerful LT1.
@@PistonPower2014If rebuilt to 1970 specs, it is now a high compression LT-1 and will not pass emissions test for a 1971 car.
Everything but a 4spd.
While the 4-speed manual is more desirable in the collector market, the automatic kept the price of these gems a bit more reasonable.
