@@philipgrimah2409 actually symbiote twisting him is developed in later iterations starting from spider man the animated series then all iterations followed it's example , in original case (in this comic) symbiote only wanted to be a permanently bonded to Peter and became a hero just like his ideal host and it stopped once it learns that IT (symbiote) taking over his body is actually hurting him.

Funny thing is, that DID happen back in Venomverse. In that event, they briefly showed one version of Peter Parker who kept the black suit and didn’t turn evil. Unfortunately, he got killed and assimilated by the Poisons, but hey, at least now we know that there’s some versions of Spidey that kept the black suit and didn’t turn evil in the multiverse.

We need to remember the symbiote never had any evil intentions, all it wanted to do was be a hero and had tons of fun while doing it. It never meant to hurt peter, it just liked being a hero, peter never tried to understand the suit and instead treated it like a villain and then got rid of it.
Yea makes me sad, especially considering that what if comics just don't take that into account much, like imagine if we got the good ending with the symbiote suit
The problem was that the symbiote by going out at night with Peter’s body would have Peter wake up exhausted with ailments in his body. Which in turn affected him mentally.
@@Alithium0 To be fair, most of those what-if comics were written at a time when the symbiote was still seen as pure evil, and its character wasn’t fully explored yet, so we didn’t have the whole "well-intentionned symbiote" thing yet. So you can’t really fault the writers at the time for working with what they had back then.
It was evil though. It made him almost murder the rhino, and made him cruel towards his loved ones. It made brock try to kill people.

It's interesting to see how the mainstays of a series started out. From what I've read, the Symbiote could always make its own webbing and shape change, but it wasn't until the 90's cartoon that it amped Peter's powers and aggression. In the comics, he got rid of the suit when Reed Richards told him that it was alive and it tried to fuse with him in response. But because 90's Spidey hadn't met other super-heroes yet, he forced it off when he realized it would drive him insane.

There’s a comic that came out a few years ago called “Symbiote Spider-Man” that takes places during this time and shows the suit taking his sleeping body out a night a lot of times. Peters always tired and has bruises

I like how at first the symbiote shares Pete’s passion to keep the city safe so it takes his body to fight crime so that the city would always be safe with Spider-Man but the symbiote doesn’t understand boundaries and begins to manipulate him more and more

I would say maybe months? Imagine the Spectacular Spider-Man storyline, but spread out across multiple issues and titles. It would've been frustrating but fun to follow the storyline in real time back then.
The black suit actually lasted four years in the comics in real life. After Peter got rid of Venom, he still continued to wear a cloth version of the black suit before switching back to his classic. Originally, they just wanted to give Spider-Man a new costume and Venom was nothing more than a high-tech goo-like suit that responds to thought until they retconned it into being an alien.
Imagine being a superhero, his dreams vs our dreams are actually ptsd nightmares of previous battles. Him sleeping while he Symbiote-Spidey Sleeper Cells around isn’t that off from sleep walking 😮

With interesting demises for eachone in interdimensional teathering like "No Way Home" VICE AVERSA Since Blade isn't happnin maybe an interesting look into a villain that connects many others like the way Iron-man, cap America & Thor, also wolverine ties in so many characters from Marvel. Could their be a villain story that makes A.I.M & Hydra, the Maggia (The MOB) & the a villain who made his bones moving through the berrage of Hitlarian MCU Armies & Mercenaries schools, THE KLAN & NAZI PARTy becomes a very dangerous villain that has connected with Red Skull & DOOM ALIKE & OVER SAW LATVERIANS SECURITY FORCES. IS THEIR A CHARACTER THAT ACTUALLY EXISTS W A REINFORCED VIBRANIUMED Bones WHO KNOWS & A EQUALLY ADIMANTIUM NOMEE⁶DEFINATELY A SHE HULK W/ THE THING & FF4 IS CALLED FOR BUT SO iS WONDERMAN & HERCULESE FORMING W/ WARMACHINE & MOONKNIGHT AS THE W.
