Absolutely love the personal tour instead of sales people. You both are amazing. Stay safe out there!
Don & Doreen are the best! We loved sharing their personal experience and feedback. Thanks for watching!
I agree getting a tour from the owners instead of the dealers makes the tour better. Thanks to the Cooks for sharing their truck!
You two are so awesome for this 🥲🙏🏿💯
Thank you so much
im training for prime soon, but i hope i run into these good people. i love their energy
We love their energy too! Thanks for watching our video.
My wife and I are team drivers for Prime and we have been in the Internationals for the last few years. One thing that they forgot to mention is that the driver seat will swivel around so that you can lean it back like a recliner and put your feet up on the passenger seat ( with no shoes of course). Ours is fixed up like a home away from home. Thanks to my wife.
Love to hear that! Thanks for the additional information - that's awesome. We're proud to have you both as part of the Prime family.
Just saw this truck roll through the Springfield Terminal today. My wife loved it.
Right on
This video is long overdue, I didn't know anything about these trucks. I have a new respect for them now. This couple is adorable
We filmed it in April but failed to upload it until today. Sorry! (My bad-Andrea here 😅) Don & Doreen are such a fun couple!
@@PRIMEINCTRUCKING it's all good, better late than never
Wow two of yall got beautiful energy great truck
Thanks for tuning in!
True Ambassadors to the trucking industry!!!
Thanks for your support, Casey!
With Prime, the International LT is the worst truck I have been on. Been with Prime since 2010. More electrical problems than a Peterbilt. Got to the point where I have improvised, adapted, and overcame all issues. Have had the truck in a shop a few times for all issues. Riding it out until December. By the way, best truck ever been on since 3.2003 was a 2015 Peterbilt.
That’s no good! We apologize for your experience. Obviously, that’s not what we want. 😞 We have heard mixed reviews, and we appreciate the honest feedback. What year model do you drive?
Peterbuilt is the best nothing rides better
I just started driving a 2022 international for a different company came out of a KW this international is nice and I understand what you are saying about the wind
Thanks for watching our truck tour!
Don is a great man. I met him and the cook-ie monster truck at the Springfield terminal
Awesome! Thanks for watching our International Truck Tour.
I am so glad to hear that somebody actually likes their international. I was taken out of mine because of problems the entire time I had it. Sadly, I was put back into another International and I didn’t even finish the inspection paperwork yet before I had problems. I’ve had problems ever since. I’m not going to go into detail about the last two trucks and the issues.
Sorry to hear that, Linda! Truck problems are a huge pain, no matter the make or model.
@@PRIMEINCTRUCKING
Are you hiring foreign countries Drivers?
@@PRIMEINCTRUCKING
Let me know please!!!
@@jesusmota5158 you have to be a citizen of the US.
I run an international and love it also.
That's great to hear! Thanks for watching our Truck Tour.
What about the side storage compartments? I had the same year model and there were things that were part of the truck that took up so much space, that i couldn't use the side storage.
Great tour! 🍪🍪
Glad you liked it!!
Also on the apu on freightliner it’s tied into the HVAC system in the sleeper. You don’t have that on the international.
Congratulations 👏
Thanks for checking out the International Truck Tour video!
so excited to start for prime soon! should be getting started in the next 2mo. or so
are these internationals being offered for tanker division?
We're excited to hear from you soon! We offer Freightliner, Peterbilt, and International trucks. Company drivers are assigned a truck on a first-come first-serve basis, but independent contractors have the option to choose their truck. For more info, give our recruiters a call at 888-664-9121.
How has the international held up? I’m considering buying one. Reliable?
How do you secure the fridge down. I getting 2023 and didn't see a way to strap it down
my 1st lease truck was a ProStar. 2nd was a FL & the whole time i wished i still had an Int'l. now i'm in a 2020 LT while i wait for my Ace FL to get here (whenever that will be). making me wish i didn't buy $6k in options for the truck i ordered... i didn't know Prime let us buy the Int'ls 😮
Always a good idea to check with Success Leasing to figure out your options. I'm sure you'll get what you put into it.
Wondering how smooth the ride is compared to a Pete.
I've seen this truck at the Millenium Bldg. Very creative! Sweet couple. Still not sure about International trucks. I've heard the engine brake works a little different than the Freightliner. Perhaps, someone who has driven both types of trucks could enlighten me.
Thanks for the question! Hopefully one of our drivers who has driven both can help you out with that information. You can also reach out to our reps through Road Assist, but hearing this information first-hand from a driver would be beneficial too!
C is for cookie and that’s good enough for me
I’m going to the orientation in Pittston in a few days
It took my wife 2 weeks to get her cdl from the pittson terminal. Passed all three tests first try. And got a trainer for tnt within 5 days. Yoire in good hands.
That's great! We look forward to seeing you soon.
Thanks Zach! We love to hear that.
Can I ask where did you get the stickers? My husband and I want to decorate our truck but all the ones on amazon are too small. How big are your stickers and where did you find them please?
Several of our drivers have decals and designs done by the great folks at Stripes & Stuff in Springfield, Missouri. Check them out!
Can you tell me if the side windows in the sleeper come with covers so nobody can see inside the sleeper at night?
Great question! I'm not entirely sure to be honest. Feel free to reach out to International directly for specifics.
How can I get the pattern ? Do they cut and install as well ? Do you have a heavy duty Dustbuster to vacuum?
Stripes and Stuff Graphics in Springfield, Missouri is a go-to for Prime drivers wanting special graphics on the truck.
I’m hoping for a Peterbilt…. KW would be cool, but wouldn’t mind a FL either lol
The bulk of our fleet are Freightliners, but it all just depends on truck inventory and replenishment. If you decide to lease, you can order a custom truck (pick model, color, etc) after 3 months of leasing.
@@PRIMEINCTRUCKING Nice !! I want to lease right after TNT but still thinking it through because of winter 🥶
@@Iamgodswork there’s no rush to jump into a lease. Most new drivers like to get 6 months to a year under their belt before switching.
I have a 2021 international lt what size fridge fits in that slot
Great question for Success Leasing or our International rep
Freightliner is much better on fuel MPG. I am getting around 10 mpg which you will not get with a international. And I’ve had my cascadia around the same length of time and it’s never been in the shop.
Thanks for watching our truck tour and for the feedback. We're glad to hear you're happy with your Freightliner!
Are these cheaper to lease vs a Peterbilt?
Thanks for the question, Casey. According to Success Leasing, the International prices are $1065 and the Peterbilt’s are $1044!
Cool truck is Prime going to start buying the internationals and Volvos now my choice would be a Pete or a Volvo but we will see ill be at prime October 4 yes I'm going to love the kool-aid 😆 🤣
We currently offer Peterbilt, Freightliner, and International truck options. We did test out 27 Volvos over the last 3 years, but we are not adding additional Volvos to our fleet at this time. We also have recently added 10 Kenworths to the fleet to test, as well.
@@PRIMEINCTRUCKING that's cool 😎 there all actually good trucks but I guess we all have our own likes as far as trucks but it seems like the Pete's are the best for driving from all the bumps lol.
@@mntrivertransportation5841 definitely! It’s interesting how drivers have their faves. We’re glad we can offer multiple options.
@@PRIMEINCTRUCKING I feel the same I'm actually pumped to come and work for Prime Inc I watch the safety meeting from home and talk to other drivers and I'm not actually there yet but I already feel like family.
@@mntrivertransportation5841 that’s awesome to hear! ❤️
Where's the shifter?
It is to the right of the steering wheel.

Sounds like you getting paid to say this
I can’t understand how prime chooses international over volvos 😖😖😖 most uncomfortable and annoying truck ever made and international don’t seem to care cause they don’t update them!
Sorry to hear that. We appreciate your feedback! We're always looking for the best deals on the best equipment for our drivers.
@@PRIMEINCTRUCKING thank you for replying, think Volvo might make it back to the fleet? They good trucks and super comfortable!
Volvos aren’t reliable I’ve had to 2017 2018 and they’re expensive to fix I do agree that they ride the best way with there a little bit too small inside I drove the 760 models
@@blake3376 I’ve heard the 2021 and upper are really reliable and durable, the vnl 860 it’s big af!
