- 2023 Freightliner Cascadia Official Truck Tour, I also talk about why I switched from my Peterbilt to a Freightliner!
@TruckerToCorporate @PRIMEINCTRUCKING
If your thinking of coming to Prime Inc or want to get your CDL license. I honestly believe Prime is a solid company to start your trucking journey. Make sure when you fill out the online application @ www.primeinc.com put my driver code STREXA on page 2 of the application when it ask who referred you. Thanks for watching my video 🙂🤙💯
Freightliner has to be one of the most popular trucks on the road for a reason
I love how the haters say prime is a scam. Your brand new to the industry, got your cdl at prime, got paid training, and are in route to make $100,000 your first year solo. The average master's degree holders starting salary is $69,900/yr. And that's after they spend 5 1/2 to 6 years in school. In 3-4 months your on the way to an upper middle class income. Good on you. Keep up hard work.
Um, you have it completely wrong his truck will make 100,000. The truck makes the money for the first 5 yrs I have 20 plus yrs in this business and been there done that
The problem is these drivers become free advertisement for these mega carriers and they don't get it or see it
@@TRUCKINREVIEWS Prime lease drivers are averaging $85K to $100K+ per year after all expenses but before taxes. The trucks are averaging $220K to $250K annual revenue. Whatever your experiences are, thats what the drivers are averaging, depending on how they run, how long they stay out, etc.
@Joe Hilton you forgot to take uncle Sam's cut now they just make what a company driver makes after that
@@TRUCKINREVIEWS Yep, EVERYBODY pays taxes. My point is a brand new driver who goes to prime can be trained in 3 to 4 months, upgrade to a lease or lease purchase and make upper middle class income with only 3 to 4 months of training versus 4 to 7 years for a bachelors or a masters degree. Plus if they go lease purchase they can own the truck outright in either 3 or 4 years. All while making above average income. It's a good deal.
That's a nice looking truck...hope it drives as good as it looks. Stay safe out there on the road.
Liked and subscribed. 😎👍
Hey Rex, I love your videos and be safe.
Banger 🔥 especially the beginning 🔥
#ooooooohyeah
Awesome truck man
Congratulations
Outstanding job specs on you truck. The only thing I would have added was an outside faring over the front glass. I even like the color. well done Sir.
You chose your truck using your head, mostly always the right decision, congratulations and good luck...
Awesome truck Rex! A couple quick questions for you.
1) Did you do a standard or purchase lease?
2) How long did it take to finish your TNT? About 3-4 months? Good trainer or not. I know that 50,000 miles anit easy
Thanks for the videos and sharing your experiences with us. It really gives folks an inside look at everthing a trucker goes through. Not just all the goodie good stuff. Stay safe out there. Keep on, keepin on bro.
He did lease
@@savage_kd8815 Both options are leases? Or am I missing something? I'm pretty sure Rex went with a Purchase lease but I figure I go ahead and ask the man himself.
I went with a standard walk away lease, because I don’t have 14K laying around.
Took me 3 months for my tnt training, tanker only requires 30K miles
@@truckingwithrex Oh k, gotcha. 👍
Not the wrong choice if it works out for you bro. Thanks for the info. It’s helping me on my journey.
You got a really cool truck 🤘🏻it’s a smart move to be in a freightliner the ease of getting it fixed or doing it yourself is manageable. The ride isn’t that bad when I was in training I was in freightliners, western stars, Mack’s and a kenworth, and I’m currently driving a international. The ride of a freightliner isn’t the best but it also isn’t as horrible like the internationals 😂 so far the worst truck I’ve been in.
Lol I drove an international for 1 day during training and know what you mean 😂😂😂
You forgot the tray table in between the two cabinets the slim middle pice pulls out and becomes a tray
I didn’t even know that, I checked and was like whaaaaaaat!? 😂 very nice!!! Appreciate that 👊
Good luck with your new truck. Drive safely my friend. God bless you. 🙏
Appreciate that 🙏🙌💯
hey rex im currently at Primeinc at Springfield and also going tanker after training and psd hope i see you out there brother be safe!
Like wise bro 🙌🙏💯
What size mini fridge can you fit in the truck
Wow very cool tank
Damn nice truck.
A good company that pays well, to a company driver with experience. Can make the same
Let’s go another video
When leasing with prime inc can you choose any truck brand or they have a certain list. For example I want Mack anthem
No Mack’s at prime, it’s Peterbilt, International, Freightliner an now seeing prime test out Volvo
Do you pick your truck at prime or do they assign one and that’s just how it is?
Very nice
One more thing change your colts cap titans rock.✌️😂🏈.lol stay safe out there,
😂😂😂 love it and I appreciate it! 🙌💯
All new 2023 prime trucks come with a 2000 way inverter
Hey guys I’m about to do the cdl permit was it difficult? And also how’s the process with prime do you have to pay out of pocket
Your truck is so amazing love your videos and what is that song called because my bro loves it (lol)and he would love it in his collection of RUclips songs
I appreciate that 💯 song is called soulicious by dyalla
Thx a lot
New truck who dis
Make sure that when you install your CB radio you will need to add CB antennas to your mirrors because the Cox cable on the freightliner trucks do not work bro
Thanks for the info
@@truckingwithrex no problem brother and also I have the same truck as you just a full sleeper
@@californiahauler6561 Niiiiiice! So far I’m loving the new truck! 😁
@@truckingwithrex great to hear brother the new freightliner is probably the best truck out there compared to any other truck
that’s a nice truck
LOL. Should got you another PB...... LOL
Did you have a choice of manufacturer?
Yes you can order a Pete, freightliner or international
Do you happen to know if the mid roof Pete has a top bunk?
The one I’ve seen had a top bunk just like my Freightliner
@@truckingwithrex Thank you
I love those mid roofs
God, how I hate those super singles on the drive axles...
Prime only offer super singles?
Yes
What is the name of the music?
Rex how much was your name on the side from strips and stuff cause I need some info before mine come in so I can get my llc put on mine the same size your logo is
$220 including taxes, done by stripes and stuff
That ant bad at all thanks
Does prime hire out of Florida
What's the average weekly payments for these lease trucks ?
$900-$1200 weekly
Hola
The peterbuilt had a more modern interior
First!
Will do, it will come from my fiancé’s device because I don’t have the app. It will be from Stacy Grant.
😁
Very interesting that you traded a 579 in for a Cascadia… I drove a 2019 Cascadia because I got my 579 and it was terrible
She’s a beaut Clark!!!
Christmas Vacation reference there. Lol😂
Congratulations on the truck.
prime needs to order their peterbilts with cummins engines the pacar engines suck
Agree 💯
Prime Inc. Is a good company to work for like any carrier.
Prime is not a scam
Congratulations driver the new truck looks cool... keep sharing your videos, I really like them... God bless
I appreciate that 🙌💯👊
Just found the channel. Love it so I’m catching up on the older content. 👍
Rex you made a good choice bro. Every truck has issues when you first get it. But the fact the fuel economy is better in FL is the winner. The ride on them ant that bad nether. Yes the Pete is smooth an a little more room but at the end of the day you can take that truck anywhere an get it worked on and won’t be having as long down times.
If you had the choice between this midroof freightliner and Pete which would you prefer?
I prefer the Peterbilt, has everything, more modern, smooth ride, has nice clean crisp bass. BUT that Paccar MX-13 engine gave me problems. A lot of breakdowns. My Freightliner has a DD15 engine no major issues so far.
@@truckingwithrex how often were you in the shop?
@@Mrnotnice24 truck had 13K when I started my lease turned it in with about 90K miles was in the shop for 26-28days total. Turbo blew that alone was a special order part from Peterbilt 2 weeks in the shop. Passenger led headlight went out, light special order down 7 days. Electrical shortage behind the dash down 4-5days. They can only be worked on by a Peterbilt shop seemed everything was special order. So I switched to a freightliner and I’m making more dough because I’m not breaking down. Also freightliner has a larger network and parts availability so less downtime.
@@truckingwithrex I work out of the Pittston terminal and we have a dedicated Peterbilt mobile guy there on Wednesdays so I’m wondering if its worth it lol
@@Mrnotnice24 same thing at Springfield terminal and my truck was still down all that time for parts. Also power steering hose started leaking that was another 2 days. And they charged me $200 for the hose clamp 😮 I would’ve just changed it myself. I thought it was under warranty. Mobile mechanic said I over filled the power steering fluid. I never added anything to it! That’s just my experience maybe your will be better 🤞
Man more n more ur making me bck with prime lol nice trk
What’s the weight on these ?
I’m sure that truck is gonna do you very well. I see a lot of the other Prime guys saying how much they like the Odyssey mattress. Are you gonna get one of them?
Personally like the standard (free ones) lol, I’m not dropping 700$ on a mattress for my truck 😂
Rex I also love your vlogs. You seem like a real down to earth person. It,s like you treat everyone the same. Keep rolling.👍love the new truck.
Really appreciate that 🙌💯
peterbilt has to look at it because it has a paccar engine if cummins then they'd let you go to any dealer in they system
Congratulations on your new truck and the company showing you the love all you have to do is represent well for the company. Arrrre you up for the task soldier.
I really like the truck. I wish you nothing but good luck with it.
The digital dash on Peterbilts were recalled
Does Prime let you choose what truck you are in?
When you go lease after 90 days you can order and customize your truck, you can pick Peterbilt or Freightliner then customize your color and add ons etc
@@truckingwithrex wdym by "go lease"
@@yeetgod1144 there is company driver or leasing. Leasing is basically you are renting the truck from prime and get a % of the load + fuel surcharge
Great advertising. Drive safe!
Excuseme sir ...I have a question do u consider a space while choosing a truck plzzz let know on your feed back plzzz
Truck space is considered when choosing a semi truck just like the height of your truck, mid roof trucks are shorter than a full size so it can go under lower bridges. So a lot of things are taking into consideration
🙌🏽🙌🏽🫵🏽💪🏽🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Nice
Really nice truck! Love watching your videos! My nephew is a fleet manager for Prime in Springfield Missouri!
Thank you 🙌💯
Rex I have a 22 freight condo if u press and hold the buttons like dome light u can adjust the brightness of it
Nice 👍
That bad boi lookin nice keep trucking I like the midroof w video man keep on trucking
Appreciate that 🙌💯
Why no mattresses in the truck, weird that you would have to get them from prime
Freightliner drops trailers loaded with new mattresses, they had ‘‘em just had to grab them and put them in, no biggie 🙌💯
Pete vs freightliner which one do you like better
Freightliner due to less downtime = more money to be made OTR 😀
👍👍👍👍
Sounds like the pete was built on a friday
True true lol
Lots of beautiful plastic, wait till all the different engine light colors start appearing., driven one since 2019, junk.
Listening to this beat i can tell you've been invited to a cookout or 2 lol
😂 yeah booooooy
Why in the heck would anyone pay top dollar for a less than basic truck? I have seen better equip cardboard boxes! You newbie keep drinking the Kool aid and prime will stay in business. It's sad see you people in them slow trucks. You guys look tired as heck in the right lane . I feel bad for you guys I didn't realize you were driving a sweatshop. The sleepers look more like jail cells . I guess you gotta start somewhere but dang they putting a hurt on you greenhorns
Is your average after taxes?
$1600 weekly after taxes
Fair honest answer too!!! Some of those Prime drivers that's on RUclips over inflate Numbers so much....
Anymore these days Freightliner is where it’s at. All Peterbilt has going for it is name recognition…
