When the fund movement is happening from Issuer Bank, Issuer Bank will be Debit and P.S. will be Credit Party? What mechanism is used here i.e. ACH transfers, RTGS transfers or SWIFT transfers? Further How the P.S. will forward this to ACQ? Also, what type of netting is used if at all i.e. is it bilateral or multi-lateral netting during the clearing process?
Hi, cleared many questions. Thanks. I would like to know on what basis a financial institution or bank chooses SMS and DMS. Could you please clarify? TIA.
Hi Ramesh, in some countries i have encountered that settlement has to be posted to issuer only via a central switch operated by central bank. In that case how the interchange fee are settled?
I need to check this out, but in general the outgoing file is first generated by acquirer which submitted to Card network, so whatever clearing house we use these calculations remain same based on predefined rules. I don't really see any challenge here , even any 3rd party clearing house can also do the settlement. But I will try to check more detail
All, I am planning to remake first 2 sessions with better video quality. Thanks
very valuable information and very simply presented

Thanks for the crisp explanation. Just have one doubt, clearing houses are not involved in POS payments ? Are they only involved in ECS payments?

Hi Ramesh , I have some queries regarding Payment Switch, processor, and payment service provider .Is it possible to connect?
how a bank can integrate VISA ps in their ATM network?
Is clearing takes place at the time of authorisation only, or it takes place after each batch reconciliation?
It takes place after batch reconcillation

Hi Sir,
I thought issuer will credit the nostro account of acquirer instead of sending money via scheme to the acquirer.
Please let me know
Via scheme only
