RUclips will hold handle XYZ for 14 days after the change is made in case you want to switch back. After that point, your friend would be able to use it.

You would need to first change your handle to give up the handle with your name. I believe after 14 days the handle will be up for grabs to others, so at that point you could create a new channel and claim the handle there. Hope that helps!

I think the twit who ruined Bud Light must have come up with this idea. @ sign is mandatory. No embedded spaces. If you were "Joe Cool" and try to use @JoeCool it says "that is taken". Those Dumbphux.
