The band is an ensemble of John Frazier (vocals/mandonlin) , Rebecca Frazier (guitar/vocals), Chris Pandolfi (banjo), Travis Book (bass) for anyone's that curious. Beautiful song, I can't stop listening to it.

Agreed. If it's a good song, it'll hold up as a bluegrass song. There's no manicuring a bad song in bluegrass.

Total mandolin, guitar, and string bass going on there. Aside from banjo sweeping here and there.
Blue grass needs a southern accent that sings, otherwise its just posers.

I think it's adorable that you think this isn't Southern. There are like 9 million kinds of Southern accents because, well, so many communities are isolated from each other. Plenty of Southern people sound less like Hollywood's ideal of Southern and more like what Hollywood would have us believe is unique to other parts of the country.
